A very bad experience.
Like many other reviews on here the covers were I'll fitting and poor quality. The only redress offered was a return of the consultant who had messed up the measurements and fitting . But his surly attitude and demand immediate payment before I was fully able to inspect his work was intimidating for me as a 79 year old pensioner. It is not an experience I wish to repeat. My comments to Plumbs fell on deaf ears.
Some years previously, I had covers for a suite made by plumbs which were exceptional, very good fit and good material. Unfortunately after my latest experience I would not recommend them . Such a shame as they were an extremely good company --- and British. A very costly mistake. .

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry to read about your experience and disappointed that we have let you down, particularly given the positive experience you had with us previously.
I am concerned by the comments regarding both the fit and quality of the covers, as well as the manner in which you felt you were treated during the fitting appointment. We would never want any customer to feel uncomfortable or pressured, and I sincerely apologise that this was your experience.
We would appreciate the opportunity to review the matter fully and understand what has happened. Please contact us via Plumbs@plumbs.co.uk with your order details, and we will personally investigate your concerns.
Badly fitting covers
Badly fitting covers that do not do the job they were planned to do. Material too thick for furniture that are recliners. Had to replace them less than a week they were so unsuitable for the job. They are now in plastic bags in the loft. Expensive mistake.

Dreadful after care service
I had a sofa covered just before Christmas. After a short time I noticed that the seats were sagging. I complained to the company and my complaint has been completely ignored. I am extremely disappointed in the after care of this company.

Will be easy to look after.
Quickly fitted on the day.
Good communications.
Even though told us a big delay with our order, the actual delay was not too bad.
Clear introductions to local rep.
A bit if a small choice of fabrics , but hopefully the one we chose will live up to the hype.
Extra zips only added at our request, in order to be able to fully remove old tired cover. I was surprised that I had to ask.

Too long on order and no communication . Had to chase myself .
Delivered in a black bin bag by agent . Needs to be delivered with more care. Individually wrapped , each seat cushion to protect fabric . Agent admitted taking then into another customer to show her before delivering to me .
I would not use Plumbs again

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am very sorry to hear about your experience.
I completely understand your frustration regarding the length of time your order took, the lack of communication, and the fact that you felt you had to chase updates yourself. I am also disappointed to hear about the condition in which your order was delivered. Our products should be transported and presented with care, and your comments regarding the packaging and handling of the cushions fall below the standards we expect.
I am particularly concerned by your comments regarding the delivery agent showing your items to another customer prior to delivery. This is not something we would expect, and I will ensure this feedback is investigated with the delivery team.
Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We genuinely value customer feedback as it helps us improve our service, and I apologise that we did not provide the experience you expected.

A Bit Disheartened
The curtains ordered by us were excellent absolutely nothing wrong at all
When the Fitter arrived with curtains and as he set out to fit these expensive curtains he noticed and realised the curtains were not of the right size . They were width wise correct but height wise not right . The Fitter was very accommodating and very apologetic about the situation . We had spent the day before moving the furniture etc to accommodate the fitting day and felt a bit let down

Thank you for your review.
We're pleased to hear that you were happy with the quality of your curtains and that our fitter provided a helpful and professional service.
That said, I am very sorry that the curtains supplied were made to the incorrect height and that the fitting could not go ahead as planned. I appreciate how disappointing this must have been, particularly after the effort involved in preparing your room for the appointment.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. We are committed to putting things right as quickly as possible and thank you for your patience and understanding while we do so.

Perfect sofas!
My experience with Plumbs has been brilliant. My first visit was great- I had very specific ideas about what I wanted, which the plumbs rep Anne totally took on board and supported. She was flexible about visit times and followed up on questions I had. The 2 sofa covers and all the elements are beautifully piped and made.I chose 100% cotton cream covers, they look stunning. Beyond my expectations. I actually had to pop one cover through the wash this week, after a spillage, and it’s perfect. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to do it. The sofas look brand brand new , and I love them

Amazing service and professional - thank you Anthony!
Couldn't recommend Anthony enough.
We recently had Anthony fit shutters for our new office, and the entire experience was absolute perfection from start to finish.
Anthony is the ultimate professional—incredibly friendly, approachable, and so easy to deal with. Nothing was ever too big or too small for him to sort out, which made what can usually be a stressful process completely relaxing and seamless.
As for the shutters themselves? We are absolutely in love with them! They are gorgeous, exceptionally well-made, and have completely transformed our new office space. Superb job all around. If you're looking for top-notch quality and fantastic service, ask for Anthony!

Usually anything we have had from Plumbs has been great. The last job we had done was a mixed blessing. Our kitchen chairs needed some cushions to make them a bit softer. Seats cushions and back ones. The back ones were so large there was hardly any room to sit on the seats. I have put them elsewhere where they can be sat on and hope they squash down a bit. Shame, I was looking forward to getting them.
