I have been an auto insurance customer for almost 30 years. During that time, I have never missed a payment or been late. More than 20 years ago, I filed a "not at fault" claim for an idiot who hit me while on the phone. Recently, I had an accident which involved a moron who slammed on the brakes for a yellow light 50 feet from the intersection. Although I have dash cam video, they initially refused to look at it and accepted 100% at fault on my behalf. It wasn't until after I complained to the NJ Dept. of Banking and Insurance that they looked at the video. Even still, they stood by their decision and accepted 100% fault. At most, they should have accepted 50%. So now, after 30 years of loyalty and only 1 claim, this greedy company is increasing my insurance over $500! I guess they never heard of accident forgiveness or loyalty. Do not trust this company.

Prompt responses

I had damage done due to a wind storm and the adjuster responded quickly with a payment amount for my damage which was reasonable I was told when the check would be mailed so I scheduled the workers which I have had to cancel because it’s been weeks and I still have not received the check the the repairs after reaching out to them a couple of times. Very disappointed they are slow to pay.

My queries were answered but had to call a good number of people (spent a couple of days) - for finding my policy and I still not have heard from my original broker or his assistant. I needed to cancel a home policy after the house was sold - but after making separate policies for our NYC apartments covered in the home policy... not until Ms. Bordeau took the initiative to help me further along the process and patiently go through the cancellation form (which was not even suggested earlier on with my conversations with different agents). Lots of frustration, but finally ended, I hope.
