We visit Keswick from Essex every year and always visit Podgy Paws for bits for our dogs. When we needed a buggy for one of our dogs I looked on the internet and found Podgy Paws was one of the cheapest. We wanted to support a small business and one that we love popping into each year so we ordered the buggy from them and it arrived within two days. Excellent service. A great company, lovely staff and wonderful shop. Highly recommend

My dog has a wounded foot, which required stitching. The vet said to get a boot off A…… (that well known delivery firm). The first one fell off, so did the next one, and so did the single use ones we tried. We are frequently in Keswick, and have used your shop there a lot, so I went to your website thinking I would ring for advice. However, I didn’t just find a telephone number, I found a whole website, and found a choice of very boots. I had one delivered in less than 24 hours, and it is brilliant. Much, much better, and his wound is finally healing. More expensive than the previous ones, but if I had started with your website, we would have saved a lot of money.
And then there were the squeaking monkey and the ball on a rope, which he is thoroughly enjoying.
Moral. Go for quality, and from a supplier that really knows animals.

This small independent pet store goes above and beyond. The staff are so knowledgeable and keen to help, customer service for both humans and dogs is excellent. We called in for a new dog harness for our 10 year old lab and we had no idea harnesses varied so much, the lady was so patient (2 pockets of treats later) and eventually we got the perfect harness. We also got lots of fantastic advice for our new incoming puppy

Excellent service , I was unsure of what size Training vest to order myself so messaged the store & a member of staff who is the same UK clothing size as me tried it on and recommend the best size to buy . We recently wanted to purchase a K9 backpack from Podgy Paws, but were unsure about which size to go for. A quick call to their Lake District shop was all that was needed. A fantastic pet shop. Have been many times while in Keswick. Our largish dogs are raw fed and it is great knowing we can get this locally. All the things you could possibly need for canine family members especially for the outdoors. Prices are fair and we have also ordered online recently, again at a fair price and super quick delivery.
