Hello everyone,

If you believe you were scammed, the best next step is to go to your nearest police station and file a fraud complaint. Because this is a criminal matter, other institutions may not be able to act without a police report.

Bring documentation that proves the fraud: contracts, payments, receipts, chat messages/emails, and any details you have about the company/person (names, addresses, phone numbers, websites). When you file the report, insist that it is officially recorded and ask for a confirmation/reference number.

From what we’ve experienced, it seems like she is using the legal structure to shield herself: she operates through multiple related companies, and also uses other companies’ logos to present her schools as more legitimate. There are concerns that she organizes teaching work in ways that avoid paying ZUS, and that she uses student labor to reduce costs.

We also feel that this issue needs the help of the Polish government to be properly addressed, because it affects foreign people. We are only trying to learn the Polish language, and we deserve to be treated fairly and protected by the system.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS KAROLINA MALIK AND GET OUR MONEY BACK!!!!

I enrolled for a one-year Polish language course with Hello Polish (polishlanguage.pl) on 8 June 2026 and paid 4,250 PLN in full by bank transfer.

Before paying, I specifically advised the school that I urgently needed the documentation. I was told in writing: "We provide documents during one week." Based on this, I paid.

What followed:

-No invoice, no payment confirmation, no enrolment confirmation received after payment.
-Follow-up emails sent on 11, 12, and 16 June went unanswered.
-16 June finally received the invoice, confirmed I received it and asked about the documents they the promised to send in one week, this mail also went unanswered.
-On 17 June, before the course started, I formally resigned and requested a refund. No response.
- On 21 June, over two weeks after payment -documents were sent Sunday afternoon, after my resignation had already been submitted.
-On 22 June, the course start date was changed from 22 June to 29 June with no prior notice. Only updated on the ActiveNow platform.
-I requested a refund since they had not delivered as promised. My refund request was refused with the response: "Based on a contract school has one month to send documents...We won't proceed refund."
-This was their response even though earlier they had said they would send the documents in one week!

I am preparing to submit a formal complaint to UOKiK (Polish Consumer Protection Authority) and I am also pursuing a SEPA payment recall through my bank.

I share this experience so others can make an informed decision before paying. The pre-contractual promises made by this school did not reflect what was delivered, and their response to a legitimate refund request has been dismissive and at times unprofessional.

Any money,time and any form of resources spent here is a total waste. Designed to steal from you and probably put you into problems. After payment, it's postponment of classes and finally total silent.
The "Wroclaw office" doesn't exist, you reach there and no one has ever heard about them,
Avoid as plegue!

I honestly do NOT recommend choosing this school or paying them upfront.

I paid 4,491 PLN for a one year in person Polish language course and today, in May, I still have had ZERO classes.

The course was repeatedly delayed, I received no lessons, no books, no teacher contact and after requesting a refund I spent almost two full months without meaningful responses.

The only time they started responding again was after I publicly started sharing my experience online regarding Vistula Polish Language School. Now I am again without answers and still without my money.

From what I personally observed, Vistula Polish Language School used to be the main brand publicly promoted. Now Hello Polish appears to be receiving more focus publicly, and even the administrative email communication I received later started changing from “Vistula” references to “Hello Polish”.

Both appear connected with the same NIP: 9452141293.

I strongly recommend being extremely careful with Hello Polish because it appears associated with the same people and structure connected with Vistula Polish Language School.

Filthy Scam

I wish I had seen this page earlier. I paid for the first installement of a stationary one year course in Krakow. They are actively reponding via email (Wiktoria, Hanna). If that their real names!!

Once the payment been confirmed (by sending the PDF confirmation by email), they were responding only because I was considereing enrolling my friend with me to benefit from their 50% discount when bringing your friend. When I informed them that I will be registering alone, they stopped responding to my emails.

I tried calling every phone number in the website but it is not reachable.

The course was supposed to start on 26.01.2026 then on the same day I receive an SMS from "POLISH LS", not even a visible phone number, ending with "Regards, Monika" saying that the course will delayed for 2 weeks.

Meaning it should have had started today 17.02.2026, yet no response to my emails nor phone calls.

The problem is their bank account is registered in Warsaw, Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas SA. So it didn't feel suspescious. A known bank in Poland, yet I fell for it.

I am trying my best to retrieve the money back, and we will see.

Scam
This site has no office. The assistant named Monika replied to me very quickly before enrolment. But after I enrolled they wrote me nothing. The important is, i was applying through their so called polish language school for TRC and they said they will provide it for me in 1 working day. However after I enrolled, i got no documents!!! They play with people's lives easily. If you're applying for TRC they are absolutely a big scammer.

We had about 5 months of lessons twice a week and then the owner refused to pay the teachers and refused to give people refunds, lied and scammed their way out of it. Do not believe their lies I, my friends and so many other unfortunate people around Poland caught in the trap, have had our money taken from us so whilst we probably won't see that money again we want to help stop others from falling into the same trap.

The school does not actually exist anymore, but the owner continues to sell courses. Their physical offices have been closed down, they still actively sell online classes, but it's a scam. There are many victims and groups for victims who are bringing legal cases against the former school's owner. In my group, we had two weeks of actual classes and everything seemed normal, then abruptly the course stopped happening with no explanation from the school. When we kept asking for refunds, the owner promised she would give us a refund after 30 days, then she blocks anyone who continues to ask. They delete the many negative comments on sites that still allow her to advertise.

This is a scam site. They will take an up-front payment for a Polish course, and will provide a few classes, then cancel the rest without a refund. This was my experience with them.

Edit: I can provide details of bank transfers/invoices, fake promises of refunds from the owner, and the names of many other students who were also scammed in the same way.
