Bought two boxes from the new Lexington location. Two boxes of crap. 😂 it was a huge disappointment and every single item went in the trash. Not a single thing worth keeping. It was hilarious. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your money! Buy a mystery box elsewhere. Or just go to the dumpster and throw your money in there.

UPDATE: it is now July 9th, and I have still not the received the last box I ordered, nor has the money been refunded. I’ve also left more messages and have not received any replies. I have never ever had such a horrible customer service experience in my life… this is ridiculous! If I was able to give a negative amount of stars, that’s what they’d get.

I FINALLY received the very first box I ordered on October 26, 2025! Almost 5 months after I ordered it!!!! Seriously! FIVE months after I ordered?!?! And, talk about total CRAP in the box... seriously PorchPirates... what the hell?!?! There were three whole things in the box... 1 was a 2-pack of iphone glass protector sheets (valued at $5.98), a 24-piece set of Fall Party Favors - for CLASSROOM hanging party decor (appx. value of $13.99) and the final item.... a 24-piece velvet Christmas bow - very ugly color - (appx value of $12.99) --- I spent $37.95 on that box - and it contained crap worth about $33.... I still have one box they owe me... I'm curious to see how much longer that one will take... and what CRAP will be in it too...

One piece of advice... you are ORDERING AT YOUR OWN RISK! Just don't do it. I wound up cancelling my 'subscription' due to lack of communication, a bunch of lies regarding my order - WHEN I got a reply... and the length of time to receive what I paid for. Which so far has been junk!

I got useful things valued way over the cost of the box, and got my first two last week. And so much fun to open. Ordering more tonight!

I’ve seen some really nice beauty products in these, as well as jewelry. Plus, the chance for a Michael Kors purse is always a nice bonus.

Made an order for $1200 3 months ago and never received ANYTHING or my money back!!! Have called, emailed, and reached out on messenger with no response!!!

Bought 240 boxes for our retail business. 99% of the items were the same cheap target case pack items. Less than 2 lbs per box, lots of bad customer feedback. Save yourself

Ordered 5 boxes, and received one. Zero response from Customer service regarding the other 4. Shipping shows only one sent, the rest have been ordered but not shipped. (and of course paid for)

On Dec 22, 2025 I purchased multiple boxes-9 to be exact for a corporate event. I have not received tracking, nor have I received a response to my phone call or email. I did receive a response from a Facebook message saying they would be shipping soon. That never happened. I’ll be disputing it with my bank. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I ordered a subscription to send me 1 box a month. I started in August and got nothing. Emailing them took several messages before they responded that shipping was slow and it would ship the following Monday. Never received, but they were quick to process the next months box. After waiting since August for something and sending a bunch of emails that were never returned, I did a chargeback and will not buy anything from them again!!

Was super excited to try this and experience the mystery box. Still haven’t received the box and several attempts to email and a phone call has not resolved it to date. Requested a refund and waiting for an answer Credit card company will be next step if they don’t step up. Disappointed for sure.

Pitiful for a mystery box.
I've ordered many mystery boxes and decided to try this one....mistake. Ordered the Classic Liquidation Mystery box for a party. Glad I opened before taking it somewhere. 7 items, most school supplies (2 pencil sharpeners, notepad and loose leaf paper), xmas bows, mini 2x3 frames and a pair of shoes. Everything but the shoes could have been purchased at Dollar Tree. Ordered and never shipped until I contacted them. Horrible company, no response from them when I contacted them about the awful products in the box. Wrote a review about the box and they use a 3rd party. My review is not on their site.
Update... I've continued to try to get a response from customer service and as of 3/27/26 still nothing, they will not answer.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. The items were mostly genuine junk. Random parts you couldn't identify like rubber parts or metal hinges that went on stuff that wasn't included. Soiled sheets. Stuff that stores clearly couldn't sell and threw away.

Whoever owns this company went dumpster diving and then had the audacity to charge $70 a box for literal garbage. My family bought an entire pallet and ended up with nothing more than one or two items of low value that we kept. The rest went straight back to the garbage it came from.

I have not had the best experience with this company. Their advertising is amazing but they do not live up to it. The first time I ordered it had been over 2 months without a response. I requested a refund claiming they were fraudulent.

I tried again a few months later ordering 3 different packages(7/25) it is 12/25 & have had nothing but empty promises. One box I received that was ok. Waiting for the 3 box they offered a beauty box & a classic box. The beauty box had 2 used items, 2 broken items, 1 expired item & 3 items that were new or sellable. I was not impressed with the classic box that was sent.

This company has poor business practice & doesn’t deliver the value they claim.

There is a local company that buys pallets of these then sells them. I bought two and they were all junk. All Amazon returns that were opened, used, broken, or missing pieces. I left a comment on the local place’s website about the quality of the box and they said porch pirates would be reaching out to me. About two week later porch pirates called and asked for my address to send me two new boxes. I was excited at the prospect of potentially getting something better than the first two boxes. They sent me tracking numbers that day. Over a week later the boxes still hadn’t been dropped off at ups. I reached out to the company and they said they had been busy but would ship them soon. Then I reached out again a week later when they still hadn’t shipped and they said it was because of bad weather and they would ship the following Monday. It’s now been over a month and the boxes still haven’t shipped. And the company won’t respond to my emails. I would not recommend buying with this company. Their customer service is terrible.

Less than one star. Ordered two boxes 12/3 and nothing was ever sent. No customer service. No packages. I live in the same state, this is unacceptable. No holiday gifts. Xmas ruined. Contacted the BBB and porch pirates said I am lying 😅 so now I dedicate my formidable talents to warn the world.

Very disappointed in Porch Pirates. I have ordered 3 boxes from them in 2 transactions and since August the only box I have received is the Skalawag Box. The first box I ordered was cancelled due to an apparent error on their part and would immediately been refunded. It even showed on the Shop App that it was refunded. Stupidly, I thought it was safe to send another order for 2 more boxes as I thought they had good intentions. Not so, I have only received the smallest box which was fun to receive. But have not received anything else. If the would just send me 2 of the large boxes - WHICH I HAVE PAID FOR - I would be perfectly happy, but they have not even had the courtesy to reply decently to my communications to them. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Date of experience is and guesstimate.

I ordered a mystery box in August 2025, I never received it!!! Now its 4months later and have emailed them several times about this issue and I got a lie of a response telling me they would overnight and ship out next day, well that was a big fat LIE! It wasnt shipped out. Its a scam and they are thieves 😤

Ordered a box and never received it.. I’ve emailed them a few times and nobody has ever fixed the issue. I have not received a refund nor the box I ordered.
