Great installation experience, dreadful after-sales support
In October 2023, I had a solar system fitted by this company, including a car charger. The work was done swiftly and efficiently, and I was very pleased.
In October 2025, I finally bought an electric car and plugged it in, but the charger didn’t work.
Power Solar promptly sent a guy who fixed that problem - but in doing so, he changed some system settings.
This caused the system to stop heating water and to give bizarre information displays.
Power Solar Customer Service offered no help in response to my pleas, beyond referring me to their equipment suppliers (who do not seem ever to answer their Customer Service phone).
They would not send one of their people to check the system, nor would they direct me to any other technician (I said I was willing to pay) who knew their equipment well enough to diagnose and fix the problem.
Finally, yesterday (6 August 2026), after weeks of phoning around, I got an independent technician to come and solve the problem. At last, the system is heating the water again, and the displays are showing sensible info again.
No thanks to Power Solar, who left me in huge stress for nine months; their people were too busy installing elsewhere, doubtless making more profit thereby than they would by rectifying their shoddy work.
Never in my life have I experienced such poor customer support.
