Really disappointed with the customer service…

Really disappointed with the customer service at Pretty and Spice. My order containing a dress did not arrive on time for a wedding I was planning to wear it at, so therefore I no longer required the item. It was a very slow delivery and even though I was in the 30 day returns policy they are refusing to refund me my money!! They take 3 days to respond to emails and just will not take on board that I want to return my item for a full refund!! How can they get away with this! Do not buy from Pretty and Spice.

Do NOT buy frim this company. The dress took weeks to arrive and when I asked for a refund they offered for me to keep it and buy another one for £20. A complete scam. The material and fit were awful. I’ve been emailing on how to return for a refund for 3 weeks now and still nothing. Just tells me they are extremely busy and will reply in 72 hours. Which they don’t. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Keep away from this scam.

This company is just about getting your money, they deliver poor quality and won’t refund, they will offer you to keep the cheap threads and ask you pick something else!!!
And then when you email they continue to prolong the process DONT waste your time or money!
They will respond to a review but what they say is LIES

Don’t waste your time ordering from…

Don’t waste your time ordering from this website.
The dress took 3 weeks to arrive and it looks barely like the picture.
It’s a terrible fit and cheap nasty material. Shein £8 dresses are nicer than this!
This item was in a sale (not in a sale really as totally over inflated original RRP) so it’s not valid for a refund!

Overall a complete waste of time and money.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Don't order from this website, it's a complete scam. I waited over a month for my order, in that time they told me the dress was out of stock (after I had reached out to them to chase my order). I picked another dress, that took another two weeks. It arrived today, poor quality with the labels cut out. It's a requirement under UK law to provide garment related information, including fabric and origin. I have requested this from the company. However, having dealt with them previously, I can't imagine the response will be what is required.

The customer service is incredibly rude. They sent messages such as "don't compare the old dress to the new one" and random, unrelated messages such as "For our abundance worldview 🌎 🌍 🗺️". All very strange.

They took my money and didn’t deliver. When I raised the issue they sent me an app to subscribe to query the delivery with the delivery company. Big big scam - stay clear. So disappointing.

Dont buy from this company. They dont refund you. You go round and round in circles with emails and whatsapp asking for the return address and they wont give you it. I'm so angry that companies can get away with this and keep your money. The dress came without labels and i didnt even try it on. Avoid this company at all cost!!

Avoid, clothing very poor quality, arrived later than communicated as shipped from China, sizing, fit, material substandard. It appears they have every item reduced to avoid accepting returns and issuing refunds.

DO NOT USE this site! I purchased a dress which arrived with no labels and smelt. I tried to send back and they are refusing offering credit etc and saying because it was in the sale no refunds allowed. I am now in the process of retrieving a refund through my bank under the consumer rights act but please be warned of these scam artists!!!

Ordered a dress 15th June
After numerous emails getting the runaround from evri back to pretty and spice order finally turned up 11th July & guess what ! dress was no where near the size I ordered shoulda been a 16 it was defo a size 12 .

Haven’t had a tracking update since…

Haven’t had a tracking update since 28th June. It’s now 8th July. I have submitted a contact form and received nothing back.

Despite the companies lies in the replies. I did in fact submit an online contact form via their website which they have not responded to and my package still has not moved any further.

Nightmare getting a refund

Following on from my last review, i’m still waiting for a refund. I purchased a 2 piece isla trouser and waistcoat on the “20th MAY ! “
The trousers equate to a size 12 ! when i ordered a much larger size.
I’m beyond disappointed that they still haven’t honoured my refund after requesting it very early on.
I’ve had so many nice emails “ let’s make this right “ etc ….offering me discount off another item + postage of £11.27 to pay.
They are now a suggesting to obtain a refund the shipping to china is £14 and is to be covered by myself .
My return is based on the trousers are sized wrong !!!! I’ve persistently requested a refund it’s a nightmare getting a one . They will try everything to avoid this.
i’ve sent so many emails and the latest reply is this has been sent to a manager !? No response !
It’s such a shame as this was my first but most definitely my last order .

Pretty & Spice Are Robbers!!

Had a response from them saying my review is not correct!!
The item they sent was dirty I emailed pictures to prove it and the item may have been a promotional item but they marked it up high to look like it was on sale. Like I said previously the item is being sold on shein for less than their promotional price. They have told me a refund has been issued but as a credit store account which won’t be used as I would never purchase from them again. Pretty & Spice are robbers and lie about there customer service and products they sell AVOID THIS COMPANY

Refunds will not be honoured

If you order from this company, and the product is defective (for me, it’s not remotely like the image on the website). They will claim they can’t refund as its sale - and completely ignore that they are showing false images online.

My issue remains unresolved and even following an email with written confirmation of my refund (over three weeks now), they continue to not honor this and instead are ignoring this and offering store credit. Why would I want store credit when the products are so faulty and disappointing?

Poor quality and a rip off

I ordered the Isla set a few weeks ago as I thought this would be a lovely set for summer.
It took about 2ish weeks to arrive, which is ok, but I was not aware it was coming from China, as its advertised to be a company based in Bath UK. Once the set arrived, not only was it wrong sizing, the quality was unfortunately very poor. The fabric itself although supposed to be a linen inspired quality is a stiff and scratchy polyester. Its really thin and the trousers were transparent , the button was dangling off , and the stitching was coming away, I then later discovered this exact set is being sold on SHEIN for half the price.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I did receive my order, but it was nothing like what was advertised. The product looked completely different from the image online and was of very poor quality. When I contacted customer service to return it, I was told I’d have to pay £28 to send it back to a warehouse in China – despite the fact that the issue wasn’t a change of mind, but that the item was misrepresented.

After some back and forth, they eventually offered a 70% refund. It wasn’t ideal, but they gave me no alternative. They also suggested store credit, but after receiving such a disappointing product, I had no interest in ordering again.

Then things got even worse. A week later, I started receiving WhatsApp messages from strangers asking for refunds – thinking I was the business! I was shocked to discover that the company had listed my personal phone number on their Trustpilot page as their contact number. When I raised this with them, they claimed it was an “AI error” and offered me £40 in store credit as compensation.

What’s worse, when I told customer service I planned to write a review, I was told that my number must have been posted “because of karma” for threatening to leave negative feedback. Absolutely appalling.

The entire experience has been a nightmare. This is not a legitimate website – it’s completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. I strongly advise others to steer clear.
