!!! BEWARE !!!

Honestly, save yourself the stress, the money, and the potential structural damage to your property.
STEER CLEAR of "Priestleyconstruction" unless you enjoy throwing your hard-earned cash into a bonfire while simultaneously watching your home fall apart around you.
In my firm opinion, they are nothing short of cowboys and should be avoided at all costs.
You'd get better results hiring a group of enthusiastic squirrels with power tools.

MIS-SOLD, MISLED & 38,369.50 OUT OF POCKET BUYERS/INVESTORS BEWARE

Aspen Woolf (Agent) and Priestley Homes (Developer) mis-sold me an apartment that never existed! I signed for a 45m2 Apartment - but it turned out to be just 39m2.

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL'S planning confirmed that it was only ever meant to be 37.45, very strange, hey?

Yet the FACT of the matter is that Aspen Woolf sold me a 45m2 apartment. That is not just a mistake - I SIGNED A CONTRACT BELIEVING I WAS BUYING A 45m2 APARTMENT. That is BREAKING THE CONTRACT AND BREAKING THE LAW.

Despite the clear mis-selling, Priestley Homes has FRAUDULENTLY kept my deposit. Aspen Woolf admitted they handed my £5000 reservation fee over to Priestley Homes and kept £1000 administration fee, Aspen Woolf offered me £1,000 as a "full and final settlement," a token gesture I refused, because where I am sat they got me into this mess by selling me something that did not exist in the first place, introducing me to fraudulent developers and failing in their duty of care.

I am £38,369.50 out of pocket (including legal costs). I later discovered that Nathan Priestley and his whole family have a colourful criminal history, which Aspen Woolf never disclosed.

Many other buyers have had their flats undervalued by £42000-£60000+. This is a pattern, it is NOT just bad luck.

THINK TWICE before dealing with Priestley Homes or Aspen Woolf. CHECK EVERYTHING, get Legal advice (not just the one they recommend), get your own, and PLEASE don't fall into the same trap.

If you are another buyer affected and have purchased something in the Leeds/Bradford, Yorkshire area, search for the Great George Street Buyers group."

Disgusting rip off merchants all of the priestley group/subsideries the lot!!!

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Do not use these for anything. Priestley homes/Priestley Construction/Priestley Construction Holdings Ltd/Priestley Group/Priestley South or whatever other name they want to "pretend" to operate under with the illusion of being good people. Wrong!!! Contractors who pulled out all the stops to help them out and get the marygate apartments/rooms (deuce hotels) over the line in order for them to start making money renting them out etc via booking.com. It really doesn't look good on the company when word gets about it tarnishes your companies (all of them) reputation, appearance and profits! Especially when you consider the stolen materials and time that is still unpaid for. People actually worked hard to provide the service to Priestley, and then you sh*t on them. The sealant company used namely (3 days to complete 26 apartments to an exceptionally high standard with no issues) and yet you have chosen to rip off and not pay them when they provided an exceptional service in such a short space of time to help you lot out and that's not to mention everyone else you have ripped off in the process and then they "liquidate the company" term used loosely of course as I'm sure most are aware this is the scumbag way of doing business. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, shame on you all, horrible spineless human beings.

Mould! Leeds City Centre!

The high rise building in Leeds City Centre opposite the Merrion is full of mold! I know I was working on it. Priestley were too stingy to pay for a temporary roof which caused constant flooding, leading to damp leading to mold.. Everywhere! Rather than replace it, they painted over it!

Great disappointment beware of this company

Great disappointment, we paid reservation deposit for 2 George Street, Leeds trusting their promise of delivering it on Q1 February 2024. We went Leeds and check the development last year ( on May 2023) and learned from the workers in the building that it is impossbile to complete it even in 2,5 years ( end of 2025 or 2026 ??) so we decided not to proceed but they refused to refund our deposit back claiming that they will keep their promise. Shamelessly 2 days ago they sent progression email which says construction not completed, still goes on( no time frame again but clearly will not be ready in 1.5 years time) we understood that we made a right decision by cancellling the purchase but it seems this company needs money so much beause they refused to pay our reservation deposit. So keep away from them!!!

TOTAL DISGRACE, COMPANY OF CONVICTED CRIMINALS

Purchased a new apartment from Priestley Homes, 6 years of total HELL. They never got planning permission, never got it signed off by planning, building regs not met, snags never completed. Leaking windows, doors, roof and water coming through the floor. Customer service is non existent.

What they also won’t tell you is that most employees are part of the Priestley family (despite not using the surname) and have been convicted of fraud and other offences. So they all cover each others backs and don’t want to know you when they’ve taken your money. 5 years later the council are writing saying planning wasn’t complied with and that the car parking and building need major changes to be compliant.

The flat was filled with mould, damp and leaks. We’ve had to pay for thousands of pounds of repairs which should have been covered by warranty.

A COMPANY OF DISHONEST CRIMINALS, AVOID AT ALL COST AND GOOGLE THE FAMILY!!!

Two years of hell Stay clear

Two years of hell provided by the Priestly Group in purchase of two bedroom apartment which changed to a one bedroom studio mid contract term giving excuse the second bedroom was not able to have window by building regulation known by them from day one.The Apartment being a reasonable size was listed and sold as a two bedroom to gain extra revenue.
Only communication was through their After sales Team never named to which part of the group of Companies they belonged have been informed they have at least 44 companies with similar Names.
The After sales workforce used over £600 of electricity leaving high energy appliances on 24/7 to a known unoccupied apartment not completing reported snagging after one year preventing apartment from being rented refusing to compensate for abuse with electricity supply snagging not completed and change of development plans.
Constant telephone and emails were sent to After sales in attempt to resolve problems until they refused to communicate.
We have been notified to date Priestley Construction changed its Name to PC 2011 Ltd then placed into Liquidation.
Advise all potential future customers to avoid the Priestley Group especially Conditioning House Bradford which is a disappointing build developed by an uncaring developer
