Used to be great, but now it's an algorithmic mess!

Now everything is "featured", with no explanation, no sense.

The previous design which showed a product leaderboard for each day was much better and didn't need fiddling with!

It seems now they're turning it into a job board, discussions/communities, review database, and other BS.

The core idea was great, please don't screw it up! And stop with the frequent redesigning, keep it simple!

They were great, but now they cannot be trusted.
They are allowing promotion of Tufans Adcreative app, after him and his team have abandoned their previous app for which hundreds (if not thousands - there are over 500 reviews), have paid.
Tufan is hiding behind 3'rd parties, but there are soooo many successful companies who do similar work.
They are promising money (for ads) for reviews and there is a contest that you can enter if you post a review.
Tufan from Adcreative is promising MONEY FOR REVIEWS so more people will lose their money, and Producthunt is not doing anything about it.
PRODUCT HUNT - by allowing Tufan on your platform again, you have lost trust of a lot of people.
Just imagine how many more products are dodgy!

I saw a lot of nice projects on the bottom of the list forever (hidden by the button “Featured”). The way they decide the order of the list is not by the votes but a "secret algorithm" they describe like "..we cannot reveal exactly how the algorithm works or it might be gamed".. and most of the cool apps will never have the chance to be discovered by other people.. I’m really disappointed of Product Hunt, in the past was better than now

Best resource to find interesting stuff. Already found several services I use everyday now. Also good for inspiration

Product Hunt is a super cool site for finding the newest software, application, and web technology. Love this stuff!! It's all voted upon from the community so you know people have tried it out and the creators are legit.

I'm a very big fan of PH. been following them for years.

I do think that the level of the hunts became much lower in the last 3 years with the rise of popularity of the site.

I don't find the competition legit as well.
Would love to see PH goes back to the roots and focus more on indie tools rather than listing airpods.
