What I appreciated most was how calm, precise, and consistent he was throughout the entire process. He works with real attention to detail and doesn’t rush anything — you can feel that he’s focused on doing it properly, not just getting it done.

I found Dr Thomas Mantse on the internet after searching for a doctor to perform 3000 grafts.
I read a lot of reviews about him on the internet, Reddit, Google and trust pilot.
What won me over was he wanted a video call to see my hairloss asap. The performing doctor called and explained the whole procedure in detail.
He guaranteed the transplant, but only if I follow his instructions.
Send nightly photos till the transplanted hairs fall out. Then I would contact him monthly if I had any questions or update photos.
Everything happened as he said it would and after 1 year I am returning to continue the next step.
I can only recommend Dr Thomas.

I had a hair transplant around 25 years ago and then in June 2023 with Thomas at Prohair so I can give a true comparison.

25 years ago it took around 5 to 6 hours and I could stop wearing a cap after a month and it gave me a good amount of hair.

With Thomas it took two 8 hour days and after each day Thomas told me I was a bleeder (to which I told him that I was not) and then when I got back to my hotel I had to spend an hour in the shower to stop the bleeding (on both days). The back of my head from where he took the hairs head looked a mess (and did for months).

It took 8 months before I could stop wearing a cap and although Thomas said he would keep in touch with me he did not and when I contacted him he just kept telling me to follow the process (which I did completely).

I ended up with around 1000 to 1500 hairs which is very poor as I was told by Thomas that I would receive 1000 FUEs a day which should give me 4.000 to 5000 hairs (it did not).

I found Thomas to be quite offhand when I met him and during the two days with him which but I would have put up with this if the results had been good.

He insisted on payment in cash so there is no guarantee except that you can go back to him (which I would never do as he seems to have lost a lot of my hair transplants so I could not trust him ever again).
I did expect this procedure to be much better than it was as 25 years have passed since my last procedure and I presumed that the techniques would be far superior (but they were more invasive and inferior).

I would advise anyone looking to go to Hungary for a hair transplant to go to someone who carries out the procedure in a day and has a shorter healing time.

One year after and I am so happy that I searched long and hard and found Dr Thomas Mantse to perform my hair transplant. Everything happened as he said it would. It was relaxing but tough(difficult not to move, when he is planting) and worth it, in all 3 days and he transplanted 3200 grafts, extra 200 for no cost, but he explained before the procedure in one of the phone calls we had, that if I need more than 3000 and my donor can give it without leaving over harvesting marks, then he will do. All done by DHI(Direct Hair Implant), this is the reason for the 3 days. Results expected 8-12 months and he was there for me the whole year to answer any of questions I had, which is not normal in todays world. Doctors are always busy. Thank you again Dr Mantse, you are truly an artist!

Je suis venu 4 fois chez le Dr Mantse pour 1000 fue chaque fois . Le prix est modique par rapport à la France .Le Dr Mantsé opere lui meme, parle français et s' occupe bien de vous.Peu de cicatrices sur zone donneuse et receveuse et apres pas de bandage nécessaire.
Je suis senior, ma zone donneuse et receveuse abimées par des greffes défectueuses il ya 40 ans .Le Dr Mantsé a réussi les fue malgré ça .Le résultat est très agréable ,un grand merci !

J’ai fait l’erreur ultime de faire confiance Dr Mantse pour ma greffe de cheveux il y’a plus d’une année, qui fut une terrible expérience, comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos qui sont le résultat après 14 mois.
J’ai fait une biopsie dans une clinique sur Paris qui a confirmé que 80% des follicules implantées n’ont pas tenues, pour raison de mauvaise exécution des greffes.
La méthode d’arnaque de Dr Mantse, ce soi-disant médecin beau parleur, commence dès que vous avez le malheur d’avoir demandé un devis sur son site Prohairklinika, en vous harcelant quasi quotidiennement sur WhatsApp, mais jamais à partir de l’adresse de son site (surement pour éviter les contrôles d’impôts en Hongrie), en vous demandant de lui envoyer une avance sur son compte perso !
Une fois sur place, vous trouvez qu’il ny’a pas de clinique, mais une salle qu’il a aménagée chez lui, sans staff médical, et avec une hygiène plus que douteuse.
Il ne vous laisse même pas le temps de réfléchir, qu’il vous harcèle pour payer en cash (bien sûr).
Et vous vous retrouvez embarqué à subir une intervention par un charlatan, sans avoir pris du recul.
Durant l’intervention, ses mains tremblaient sans cesse, en me causant des douleurs insoutenables des fois.
Une fois la greffe finie, il vous laisse dans la nature sans AUCUNE recommandation sérieuse de suivi. (Pas de PRP, alors que c’est la norme aujourd’hui)
J’ai eu des œdèmes énormes par la suite, dus à une trop grande injection d’anesthésie.
J’ai envoyé régulièrement les photos, pour suivi d’évaluation, avec toujours le même retour : « Oui c’est normal. Le résultat sera visible à 1an ».
Mais après 1 an, c’est la catastrophe. Je me retrouve avec un grand trou sur mon lobe droit, et à l’arrière. Et je suis obligé de me raser le crane pour cacher ce résultat affreux.
Et les réponses du Dr Mantse , sont d’abords « Je ne comprends pas » , puis il essaie de vous culpabiliser en disant que c’est votre fautes, alors que vous lui avait envoyé vos photos durant 1 ans , et qu’il trouvait la situation normale !!!
En faisant mes recherches, j’ai trouvé que beaucoup d’avis sur le Dr Man, étaient faussées, et c’est pour ça que je mets mon témoignage en ligne pour éviter à d’autres patients cette escroquerie.

I am not sure if this review gets published but I will try. I had a procedure with Mr Thomas some years back and I tried to leave reviews on different channels but never got published. The experience was a complete joke. Having a big house where his practice was in Budapest, it looked strange from the start. He did not ask me for any medical condition nor test before the procedure and I was bleeding all the way. The transplant was a never going to be successful as I felt during the procedure and it never was and I lost all the grafts as well. My recommendation is for those reading it that please spend a bit more for a certified agency who does the same than cheap out. I am happy I did not get any infections but the experience was terrible along the waste of some thousands of Euros. And I guess Google used my Emai Name but for refrence and you can check in your records again "Adeel Tariq". Adeel Tariq one of your customer from Norway and we had many conversations back and forth on Whatsapp which I have the records of for the different solutions you provided me afterwards. So I guess now you can go back to your records and check my history as a patient.

Went for a fue hair transplant. Communication was great and Dr. Thomas did a good job. He was good at answering questions, and he had a nice personality. I was a bit anxious doing the surgery but he did a great job at making me feel at ease.

I've gone to see Thomas twice now, first in 2015 and again in 2023 for continued hair loss. Both areas he did look great! Thomas has a thorough approach and I'd recommend checking him out for an FUE!

Firstly, what prompted me to go Dr. Thomas is that he is one of the few doctors in Hungary and I think in Europe who has the Canadian Board, and is a member of the organization (ISHRS)

The doctor is the one who does practical work by himself not Physician assistant or nurse !!
The amazing thing is that it is in his hands. He does not use any machines. Himself takes the graft from the donor area and transplants it in an area partially! This requires more time than transplanting hair with a machine

For example, I transplant 2,900 graft, which took three days
Every day did 1000 graft
And spend 8 hours per day at least to transplant that by hand, which included breaks
This is evidence of quality!!

I came to him while I was in a miserable state of the hair transplantation process in Turkey. It was able to increase its efficiency by making 2,900 grafts available to me, I had 6000 grafts and I lost most of it due to a bad hair transplant procedure I did before !

I think it is rare to find a doctor who uses this technique that take for him for a longer period of time , The reason he uses this is because some machines may cause damage to other follicles during extraction! That's why he does it himself!

Just had my second hair transplant with Dr Thomas at Prohair in Budapest Hungary, it's been under two weeks and I have no scars, no scabs, I can even see some of newly grafted hair starting to grow.
My first hair transplant was done in Reynosa Mexico by a very renowned doctor and had excellent results, sadly as time passes so has my natural hair so I needed a touch-up, approximately 1500 graft's.
I got in touch with my doctor in Mexico who's become a very good friend and he told me to avoid all of the hair mills and find Doctor who works alone and does the job himself, luckily I found Dr Thomas will ticks all of the above boxes plus he came recommended from a friend.
Dr Thomas works alone there are no assistances, only the doctor and he does everything by hand, so it may take a little more time but you get the absolute best results !
Being someone who has previously had a hair transplant I can tell you that Dr Thomas and his work is equivalent to or if not better than my doctor in Mexico who uses a team a very good team but it's not the same as having an individual do the work themselves.
The price, the clinic, the treatment were all first class.
I can't recommend Dr Thomas enough.
