I was introduced to Propel by my…Barclays Business manager
I was introduced to Propel by my Barclays Business manager with regarding a loan for my executive car business.
My first communication was with Kelly and I must say what a pleasure it was to have been introduced to her.
Although it was probably just for my benefit that I should try Barclays first and when I did the offer of a loan through them was somewhat out of my reach.
I started to think the purchase of my new vehicle wasn’t going to happen.
Then whilst literally on another call I saw Kelly’s name come up and I immediately changed to answer her call.
The first thing she told me was “I got some great news for you”
Well anything was better than what has happened recently. She told me my loan had been approved and that the purchase of my car could go ahead.
If my arms were long enough I could have hugged Kelly, she made my year already.
The application was straight forward all done online and signed sealed and delivered within a few days.
Dan called me and explained a few things I need to do to finalise the deal and that was that. Less than a week I’m in a nice new Mercedes E class ready to continue my executive car service.
Thanks to Kelly, Dan and the team at Propel Finance it has and always will be a pleasure dealing with you.

They are in cahoots with 4com the awful…
They are in cahoots with 4com the awful telecoms company. Please please if anyone has signed up to a 4com contract for phone system hire and are offered 'an upgrade', read the Propel contract with a magnifying glass! I don't know who is making the real money but they add the settlement figure from the first contract onto the second contract, so you end up refinancing the full settlement figure from the first contract as well as the second contract. Propel will just say that they only do what they are told but nothing is made clear. Normally when you get a bank loan or car loan you get a full clear breakdown of costs and the interest charges - but not from Propel. Be warned - read the contract thoroughly and take advice before getting duped. There is no early settlement, you have to pay the FULL interest even if you want to settle early. Judging by some of the good TP reviews they seem to perform differently when dealing with other asset finance but when they are partnered with 4com it seems to be a whole different ballgame.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we take all feedback very seriously.
We understand your concerns regarding the sale of the lease agreement were escalated to our complaints team on 20 February 2025 who issued a final response letter on 25 February 2025. You acknowledged receipt of our response, and no further concerns were raised with Propel.
As part of our investigations, we also reached out to 4Com Capital Limited, who confirmed that a complaint had been raised with them directly which was also fully investigated and resolved. Notification was then received by them that a case had been raised by you with the Communications Ombudsman. The complaint was refuted by the Ombudsman with no remedy or reward.
Within our response we clarified our position as the provider of funding for the lease agreement and that whilst we strive very hard to ensure all our customers are happy, our role is simply to provide financial arrangements to businesses relating to the equipment they have agreed to purchase from the supplier. We are not involved in the selection, suitability, or cost of such equipment and would not have been party to the original discussions with the supplier.
We rely on the signatory as the director of the business to read the contractual documentation which clearly outlines the costs involved and only sign when they have understood and are happy with the content. To this end we take extreme care in assuring that the terms of our finance agreements are transparent and comprehensive.
Upon receipt of the signed agreement along with the confirmation of delivery authorising payment to the supplier, Propel have then in good faith paid for the equipment on behalf of Derwas Of Welshpool Limited.

Massive thank you to Propel Finace
After being reffered to propel finance via our bank manager, we was contacted by their finance advisor
( Luke Fulcher ) to disscue what we wanted to buy and how much we wanted to loan he went through a quick credit check on us and told me we was able to loan the amount we needed. Once we found the vechiles we wanted I got back in touch with Luke and he started the process on our finance agreement he arrange with the dealership direct and copied me in everything what was happening and I'm happy to say we picked our new vechiels up last Friday
So we would like to Thank Luke Fulcher for all of the time he dealt with us either on the phone or via email and for how smooth everything went with our purchase

A rip-off finance company
A rip-off finance company. They are renting to us 3 handsets over 7 years, totaling £23000!
They are in bed with 4com, the lowest of the low telecoms company.
Both of them are all that is wrong with the current telecoms industry. Just profiteering, on the back of restrictive and unfair contracts.

Whilst we strive very hard to ensure all our customers are happy, our role is solely to provide finance to businesses relating to the equipment they have agreed to purchase from their chosen supplier.
We are not involved in the selection, suitability, or cost of such equipment and are not party to any discussions between the business and their supplier.
We trust that the signatory of the agreement, which in this case was a listed director of your business, would have completed their individual due diligence on behalf of their organisation by fully reading the contractual documentation which includes a list of the specific equipment and the cost of that equipment, only signing the purchase agreement when they have fully understood and were happy with the content.
In addition, we take extreme care in assuring that the terms of our finance agreement are transparent and comprehensive. We have paid the supplier your equipment in good faith based on the confirmations and request of your business.
We understand that your concerns with regards to the terms of the agreement were escalated to the supplier in September last year. A complaint was raised, which was fully investigated and deemed to be unfounded. 4Com, your supplier of equipment, further commented that they attempted to discuss the matter directly with you on numerous occasions but were unable to reach you.
If you have not done so we would recommend that you speak with them as a matter of urgency to try and resolve your issues directly.
