Unprofessional and Dishonest
If you want to experience the worst customer service, this is the place!
They sent the wrong product, kept us waiting for 11 days and then issued a refund saying they serve customers as they please and this is written into thier policy.
All four times I called them, I was given the promise of delivering the right product in two days. They never called me to give any updates but let us wait out in a house with no bathroom during the lockdown! Then they lied to me that they do not have stock and issued a refund. But the items were still available for order on their website.
It was shocking how they handled this. I am a very calm person and I can’t remember the last time I post my temper but I do ask people to pay for their mistakes which I did in this case. But they never even apologized during the whole process although I was very calm and too nice in all my commutation with them. The liars accused me of being impolite to staff on my google review and said they refunded the delivery costs out of good will. Ermmmmm... the delivery never happened. That’s enough bad will isn’t it?
Apparently it is up to “their sole discretion to chose to honor an order” the words they sent me by email.
My experience:
April 18 :
Order Placed for 2-3 days delivery
April 21 :
Wrong product delivered and was sent back. Customer service promises to delivery correct product by 23rd
April 25:
No delivery or update. Called again to be promised delivery by Tuesday the 28th
April 29th:
No delivery or update. Emailed asking for delivery and compensation.
Immediate response that product not in stock and will issue refund.
Products were in stock and can still be ordered on their website. Later email confirms that they chose to not honor the order though the items were in stock.
In response to the repeated false accusations, I would ask them to provide proof of the ‘manner’ in which I spoke to their staff and politely ask them to stop lying. I find their response rebellious to my ‘all facts and figures’ review. Besides this is not the only bad review here.

Another example of poor customer service
All I wanted was some replacement blades for a Gundlach scraper. They sent some totally wrong blades at a postage charge of nearly £6 when the blades cost less than £4. I sent them back and asked for postage both ways to be refunded. I've got only the blade price. I see from the reviews that there customer service is rated badly - something I agree with completely

Customer service perhaps too good
I ordered some two-part SLC from them and the items were dispatched the same day to be delivered by DPD the following day. When DPD delivered the package it only contained one part of the SLC. I phoned up protilertools and spoke to some very friendly representative who promised to get the issue fixed.
I then realised that it turns out that DPD had just split the delviery between two drivers and the later part of the order was coming later that day. In the mean time protilertools had already dispatched the replacement for the "missing" item.
I was initially worried about ordering from them as the SLC was about 30% cheaper than anywhere else. It turns out that instead I had a really positive experience from them and would certainly order from them again.
I think this is probably the first time i've posted a positive review for any company so well done.
Terrible
Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Bought £200+ worth of trims, trims came damaged. When raised to their support team, they have refused refund. Very very moody on the phone, not very helpful and all in all very bad experience. Thoroughly unprofessional.
They are literally just middle men, better of going to any other supplier than this one. I repeat terrible service.

Failed to deliver
Ordered expensive tile cutter and paid extra £35 for Saturday delivery with they failed completely and even refusing to supply tracking information,totally gutted as someone was waiting all day and my planned job was cancelled because of this....let me down big time and wouldn't recommend them....better buy in local screwfix or other reputable shop.

Ordered a few times from them already
Ordered a few times from them already, wonderful service, speedy delivery and even got a gift with my latest order. We bought an excellent quality tile cutter, blades, trim snips, fugi, tile spacers, etc as we had to quickly learn DIY tiling because our tiler disappeared. Then i ordered parts, profiles, trims etc and every time the delivery to us in Ireland was within a couple of working days. I highly recommend this company to both professionals and DIYers. Happy customer.

I'd been looking for some well priced metal tile trim, everywhere I looked the prices seemed very expensive so I was very happy to have found them. Much cheaper that the competition, quick delivery and well packaged. The products I bought were of high quality. So, no problems.
