Complete scam company with terrible lock design. Bought 1 of these to protect my boat and someone broke into it and stole it. Now having to deal with police report and theft. Thanks proven lock industries for advertising horrible design. Owner is a scam artist and won't refund or reply back to emails. Stay away from this company.
UPDATE 11/20/2025:
Proven locks is trying to gaslight me into saying I am incorrect and wrong. I have sent multiple messages via emails and social media without any responses. Their response to my review is a clear sign that they do not care about their customers and only care about their online image. I have lost thousands of dollars dealing with my lost boat due to PROVEN LOCKS INCOMPETENCE AND TERRIBLE DESIGN. Stay away from this company and report it to BBB and shit this company down. Horrible horrible company and owner is a liar and a thief. Go and do a simple Google search on proven locks owner fraud scam.

I was not happy at first. The locks were a bit tricky to work. I was expecting barrel locks. Owner reached out and explained them. I did research them and he was spot on. Have been using for about a year now, I am absolutely happy with them. I highly recommend.

The product is misleading, the advertising (especially on their instagram) gives the impression that the product is unshimmable, or that other people who have proven that it can be easily broken into are spreading falsehoods. These company that sells this product are misleading the consumer, the lock is not safe at all.

All those negative comments are based on a social media reel or video, not on a genuine experience as requested.
As you know, videos can be edited and the used material could be not authentic.
