My son had a brilliant time in Roscrea this year. It was his first time doing a camp and he found it hugely beneficial. Very professional organisation and they encouraged to take ownership of their own week while being great fun at the same time

My son just completed the 1 week residential in Roscrea. He had an amazing time and has been chatting to the friends he met during the week. They are planning on going back there again. The coaches throughout the week were very good. My son said that the week was intense and feels a better player after it. Thank you to all the coaches for the great experience my son had and for posting the photos all week of their activities.

My son had a great experience in PSA rugby camp. He enjoyed the professional rugby trainings, but also the new friendships. The trainers are very professional and ensure there is a nice atmosphere within the group. Highly recommend and he will come back.

We have sent our kids to multiple rugby camps both in Ireland and abroad and all we enjoyable. What sets the PSA experience apart is that it genuinely mimics a professional environment with the challenges and expectations on the players that entails. Specifically, there is no element of 'babysitting' that you can find in some other camps or other sports. It is clear that the team have no problem filling an entire day, week or longer with meaningful activities. Yes, there is still a huge element of fun, but that comes out of the activities and good organization. Nothing in the schedule is filler but the days are busy from start to finish. Our two boys (11 and 15) are very sporty and finished each day tired but exhilarated.

The PSA management clearly spend a huge amount of time selecting the coaches and this is time well spent. The players see several coaches each day and get to experience different styles and delivery from these coaches. While all special and unique, the overriding similarity however, is the player focus. Many times a good player can shrivel up when suddenly surrounded by excellent players who they have not met before. At PSA, there is an amazing approach which seems to make connections between players quickly so they all have the same goal; to give the best they can and develop as much as possible. I'm not sure how they do this, but it creates a collegiate approach where even my 11 year old was saying "My friend is better at skill X, but he is showing me how to do it that way". This type of learning goes far beyond rugby.

In short, the PSA experience is very well run and the players love it. Yes, it is more challenging than some of the "summer camp" experiences out there, but that is most suitable for kids who are learning to play at a higher level and get the most out of the experience.

Great camp my Son loved the Cork camp and we will be back next year

My son and daughter participated in the Kilkenny academy and had an amazing time. We don’t speak English at home, but everyone made a big effort to include them in the group and they ended up having the best time. They learned a lot, made memories for life. They were exhausted (falling asleep in your dinner-exhausted) but will be back! Also: very easy to communicate with the organisation.

Fantastic week in Kilkenny, first time my son was away from home and he Loved it, he could not speak highly enough about all the staff. Very friendly and approachable. He learned a lot, he can’t wait to go back next year. Would highly recommend the PSA Academies to anyone.

My boys had a great time at the Kilkenny camp, they were buzzing about all the fun they had and new friends they made. The coaches and mentors were super helpful and friendly and the boys felt that they learned a lot and were impressed with the careers and successes of all the coaches. Hope to be back next year.

This was something my son really wanted to do. He attended the one in Kilkenny and it did not disappoint. My son would be quite anxious at night time so I did worry about that. The second one my son worked himself up but the staff were amazing. Now my son did come home that night and travelled back the next day. The staff kept me in the loop on how he was doing. He learnt so much and he said he would definitely do it again. Thank you so much for all you done.

5 Night Residential Camp in Cork 2023.
A really positive experience for my rugby mad 12 year old son. The PSA team created an environment where he developed, had fun and made friends.

15 ans, une semaine intensive de rugby à Cork pour une expérience très enrichissante Outre le fait d'être immergé en langue anglaise la qualité des échanges et la diversité des coachs ont amené une dynamique très intéressante et surtout un focus professionnel sur le rugby. Il a été apprécié tous les travaux sur les skills, les exercices ciblés. En mode résident, un effort à été fait par l'équipe pour récupérer et amener le jeune à l'aéroport. Une cuisine géniale et copieuse ! sans oublier les chambres correctes (avec couette pour les frileux).

My son had a fantastic week at this rugby camp. He had previously attended a few different non-residential rugby camps, both in Ireland and the UK, but this was far superior. He said that the quality of coaching was excellent, the variety of activities provided provided constant engagement and that it was the best camp he had ever been on.

This is our second year doing PSA ACADEMIES camp in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, it has been a great week and alot was learnt, made great friends from other clubs, from a parents point of view, I felt the boys were very well looked after, they were all treated very well, we look forward to next year.

He learnt plenty of new rugby skills and received talks on nutrition, teamwork & sports psychology. Great coaches & mentors, good food & a nice bunch of lads. Overall a very worthwhile experience!

Seriously impressed by the mentor and coaching teams running the PSA camps. Awesome people. Our son went to 3 camps this summer. As great as the venues and training programmes were, the people running them and the kids attending were the real memories. Particularly loved La Base in France as a place, but the kids, staff, coaches and mentors were sheer class.

Thank you to the whole PSA Kilkenny team for a fantastic week of rugby and fun for my son, Hugo. He had a ball, worked on and improved his game and met lots of new friends.
