Worth it!
One of the most valuable services that I have experienced is the ability to ask a question at any time and get an answer in a reasonable time. There were issues, as with any business; however, the Publishing.com staff were always diligent to get things handled. I've been part-time since joining in December 2024, but by following the process, I have published three books in 4 countries and exceeded 2300.00 USD last month. I have owned and operated a construction company for over 20 years, and added this publishing business to my workload. It takes time to succeed at anything, and if you invest the time, money, and follow the process, I believe anyone can do it. The only way I see failure is if you quit.

Publishing.com is a scam. Please DO NOT use this program!
I thought I found the right program to help me on my self-publishing journey, but I was SO WRONG. Please DO NOT sign up with publishing.com! It's a scam. They will happily take your money, but you won't get what you've been promised. They say they will refund your money if you're not satisfied, but they won't. They are under investigation by the FTC. I have filed a complaint with the FTC to help with their investigation.
With the basic program, the training videos are decent. However, you can find all the content you need and more through other programs that are far superior.
The Publishing Accelerator program (an add-on) has coaching, webinars, and the publishing.ai tool. I do well with a coach, but their coaching was a huge disappointment. I was assigned a coach whom I met with twice, and he was late both times. The sessions were only 30 minutes (which is another issue altogether). My first coach left, so I was reassigned to another coach and then another one. It was incredibly difficult to schedule time with a coach. It was so difficult that I couldn't use all the coaching sessions I paid for before the program ended. Did I mention that Publishing Accelerator is only a six-month program?
Publishing.ai is a program that helps you create AI-generated manuscripts. I spent months and countless hours trying to generate a decent manuscript. The tool was great, to a point. The customer research and outlines were terrific. But when it came time to generate the manuscript, no matter how good the outline was, the manuscript was garbage. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I went through the entire process five times, and each time the manuscript was trash. For one of the manuscripts, I hired a professional editor to fix it, but it was so bad she couldn't do it (and didn't charge me). I contacted support multiple times. I was told it was a bug. But it still didn't work when the bug was fixed. I was told I wasn't using it right. I was using it right, but I followed their instructions anyway, and it still didn't work. Then they started ignoring me. That's when I started asking for my money back. I asked for a refund multiple times and was told repeatedly that someone would get in touch with me. No one ever did. But I kept asking. Finally, when my refund period expired, I was contacted and told my request for a refund was denied. Can you guess why? Publishing.com is a scam. They will happily take your money. But when you find the program doesn't work (because it's about them getting rich, not your success), you will not get a refund.

I made 1220.00 in royalties and I just started the course in February. Already I can tell how successful I can be from following their instruction. I am selling in the USA, CAN and the UK. My audio book isnt even published yet and Im only selling on 1 platfor. There is so much potential!

Very Dissapointed with the Accelerator
I joined both the AIA Academy and the Accelerator program, and after several months, I feel it's important to share my honest experience. While I do believe the Academy itself provides solid value — the core content is well-structured and easily worth the $2,000 — I was extremely disappointed with what the Accelerator offered on top of that.
The extra $8,000 I paid for the Accelerator didn’t translate into the kind of support, depth, or innovation I was expecting. Most of the workshops and even the group or 1-on-1 calls — including the exclusive calls with the twins — often just repeated what was already taught in the Academy lessons. The repetition might help reinforce certain ideas, but if you’re paying that much extra, it’s only natural to expect new, cutting-edge information — not just clarification of what's already available.
The Facebook Ads workshop, for example, was extremely basic. It didn’t even cover essential things like retargeting or how to create landing pages. When I started running my own campaigns and had more advanced questions, my coach wasn’t able to provide clear answers. So the “premium” support I was expecting felt more like entry-level guidance.
Another big letdown was the strategy suggested for getting early reviews — basically messaging Facebook groups. It felt outdated and a bit awkward, like something from an old MLM playbook. I followed it to the letter, even tested AI variations, but received little to no response. Some group admins said they’re overwhelmed with these kinds of messages. In the end, even Facebook temporarily blocked me due to activity — which is on me — but it happened because the method just wasn’t effective, and I was desperately trying to get results.
What hit me the hardest was realizing that even the basic Academy already includes help with things like book topic or cover review — something I thought I was getting as a special benefit of the Accelerator. That made it even harder to justify the massive price difference. It honestly made me feel trapped, and caused a great deal of anxiety.
I’ve asked for a partial refund based on the resources I actually used, and what I believe reflects a fair value. I'm not trying to take advantage of anyone — I simply want to be treated fairly. I truly believe the creators had good intentions, and the Academy itself is a strong product. But the Accelerator felt like an overpriced extension that added little substance.
If you’re considering joining, I’d say: the Academy might be worth it. But think very carefully before investing in the Accelerator. If I had known in advance what I know now, I absolutely would not have paid for it.

I signed up for the Publishing…
I signed up for the Publishing Accelerator, which included six months of working with a coach one-on-one. After less than two months the coach I was working with quit. They never replaced her and are now trying to claim I never asked for a new one when they clearly stated they were going to provide a new one.
This is a flat-out scam.
I see the company's response and it is a misrepresentation of how things went. I signed up for six months of one-on-one coaching. The coach resigned after 53 days. Below is text of the message they sent at that time indicating that a new coach would be assigned:
"Dear Brian,
I hope this message finds you well. We regret to inform you that your coach is no longer with the company.
We are deeply sorry for any unease this has caused, rest assured, we will assign you a new coach immediately to ensure you maintain your momentum and continue receiving the support you need from the PA program. We will be adding an additional coaching call to your count so you have a chance to get up to speed with your new coach without the worry of losing a call to do so.
Due to the nature of the change all scheduled coaching calls will need to be cancelled, but again you will have immediate access to your new coaches calendars to book a time that works for you.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist you in any way we can."
No follow-up message was ever received indicating that a new coach was assigned. Who was I supposed to schedule a coaching session with if I did not have a coach assigned?

The training works. Do you?
This company receives a lot of criticism, but for those who are willing to do the work, overcome the challenges along the way, and think outside the box to fill in the knowledge gaps that the course leaves out, this company is a good starting point for those wishing to learn self-publishing. It's not at all a magic bullet, but there's a lot of great information here.
Is it perfect? Nope. No company is.
Is your success guaranteed? Nope. There are no guarantees in life.
Would I recommend this company to a friend? Yes, but with a caveat.
If I were recommending this company to a friend I would carefully warn them to temper the excitement they'll likely experience when seeing the success stories frequently touted. It can seem a bit "too easy", which will come as a disappointment when inevitable challenges occur. The other part is that I would tell them to go outside of the training material to learn Amazon Ads. While the instruction in the course is helpful for building a decent foundation, it's greatly lacking the depth and strategy needed to effectively run Amazon Ads at a high level -- and a high level of understanding is critical if one wishes to run their own ads in such a competitive environment.
On that note, I did not experience success until I abandoned the courses Amazon Ads training, and sought expertise elsewhere. Once I learned a different, more aggressive, more sustainable strategy - that's when things really clicked for me.
All in all, Publishing.com does get my recommendation to those who can see through the hype, and for those who understand that additional training and education may still be required outside of the course to fill in the knowledge gaps, depending on the needs of the individual.

Onboarding typo locked me out of Publishing.ai—and support has been nonexistent
I’ve had access to the Publishing.com dashboard since November 1, 2024, but I’ve never had access to the Publishing.ai tools I paid for. I only intended to use AI for research, fact-checking, worksheet creation, and editing—while working full-time—not to have AI write my book for me.
During onboarding, their specialist misspelled my email. I received a link that granted dashboard access—but not Publishing.ai. I updated my email in my profile as instructed, but the platform still requires the original typo-based email, which no longer exists in my account.
After finishing my manuscript, I tried using the software, Facebook group, weekly calls, and bonus membership over the Fourth of July weekend. Nothing worked. I reached out for help every day since July 6, 2025, and the chat tool kept saying “waiting for a team member”—but only AI agents or support staff directing me back to help articles I’d already tried.
I even reached out directly to the onboarding specialist (who made the error) and the upsell rep—but both have left the company. One of them responded on LinkedIn and said they’d email someone to help a few days ago—but still nothing. Zero live support. No resolution.
I paid $2,574.12 for a program I can’t fully use, and there’s no way to reach someone who can fix their mistake. It’s unreal and unreasonable!
Here’s what needs to happen: Someone at Publishing.com, please correct the email in your system and contact me to schedule a live activation call so I can finally access what I paid for. If this isn’t resolved soon, I’ll have to escalate to the FTC—not something I want to do. I’m simply trying to finish my book—not chase endless dead ends.
In all fairness, the program may work fine if you never need support. But for software that costs thousands, zero effective client support is mind-blowing. When you actually need help and can’t get it, it starts to feel like a scam. Until this is fixed—and I can update this review—I can’t say I fully trust it.

I regret to say that I made a mistake…
I regret to say that I made a mistake in trusting the sales representatives of this company. Please take the time to read all the negative reviews, as they highlight various issues. This company is just as "honest" as the positive reviews.
If you change your mind after you pay, you will likely never receive your money back from them, as customer support will continue to ignore your requests while a third-party company collects the instalments. Fortunately, there is an option for a dispute and chargeback, so after much stress and additional education on this process, you may be able to recover your funds. It’s best to go directly to your bank and raise a dispute to stop the payments, especially if you are overseas, as card provider rules apply everywhere.
Overall, do not believe their claims and make sure to read the terms and conditions thoroughly (you can find them on their website), as they refer to these instead of the promises they make- the US law is a minefield for outsiders.
Kudos to Pamela and others for raising awareness of these malpractices. I would give this company 0 stars if I could.

It really works, but only if you treat it like a real business
When I first got into self-publishing, I treated it like a side project, and got side-project results. But once I took it seriously, invested in quality, followed the AIA process step by step, and stayed consistent, everything started to shift.
My books finally began selling, royalties picked up, and I’m now building a growing catalog with real momentum. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but if you’re willing to put in the work, AIA gives you everything you need to succeed.
What really sets it apart is how detailed and up-to-date the course is. The twins are constantly improving it with new strategies, examples, and insights. You can tell they genuinely care about helping students make it work.
If you’re serious about self-publishing, this is hands down one of the best courses you can take.

Complete Scam Company. Don't give them your money. Run
Very disappointed with the level of deception and customer service here. I purchased the AIA and Publishing.ai software just over 2 weeks ago. Within 3 days, my situation had changed as I dabbled for maybe half hour, and decided their courses and software was not for me. I was surprised to see that their reimbursement policy was 3 days... A little short for such a "reputable" company? Okay sure, I've made the cutoff.
First, I contacted the customer service rep that was adamant about an onboarding meeting. We met via Zoom, she was upbeat, gave me her personal line and said she was always available for contact! Great. Text her explaining my situation and politely requested a reimbursement. Nothing. Follow up a few times, nothing. I also contacted customer service via publishing.com on their website, it notes requests are usually handled in 1 day. Nothing. Followed up multiple times. Nothing for over a week. Called the agent that gave me her number, ignored for days. Finally picked up, who are you she says? She says I'm out of the country and she hurries me off the phone as I'm an inconvenience to her. I asked her if she works for Publishing.com as this was strange, "No I don't anymore". Within 7 days she goes from happy to take my money, so polite, to who are you and leave me alone. Eventually after "bothering" her, she said she would get a number and email for me to contact as she hangs up on me. Then proceeds to block my number. Never got the email, never got a phone number. This was so revolting as a week ago you were so friendly, happy to help, to ghosting me, being rude even though you said contact anytime, to hanging up and blocking me leaving me left feeling cheated. Not a nice customer sentiment.
As I try to dig further myself, I call the ONLY number referenced anywhere for this company. Disconnected and goes nowhere.. WHAT?!
This company is a complete scam and do not have their customers in mind. They provide "fake contact" via a messaging portal or onboarding agent, only to never hear from them again. I seem to get all of their promotional emails of course telling me how to succeed! Well that's not helpful, I would like a reimbursement, I didn't even use their resources, and within a few days they disappeared. NOT LEGITIMATE. COMPLETE SCAM. So disappointed as they take so much time to hype up an appearance, only to disappear with your money. Disgusting business practice.

It’s never ending spending money
Publishing.com cost almost $10000, and I never got the assistance I needed. I requested a refund twice, and both times they declined. I will never sign up for another fake digital book program so I can sell on Amazon. Publishing.com is only after money; they don't care if you're living paycheck to paycheck or if you took out a loan to pay for their fake publishing.com. I paid the initial $2000, and then after the first meeting, I got an email about their accelerated program. It cost $8000. I should have known back then it was a scam. Publishing.com classes were recorded videos with different steps at each level you complete. Some are easy and some difficult, and that is where I got stuck and requested my one-on-one assistance that I paid $8000 for. The coach never has available time; I work full-time. It was never mentioned when I signed up that I needed to keep spending more money to be successful. After I signed up, months later a hurricane hit, and I lost power and my place. It took two months to go back to normal. I tried to explain my situation, but they still declined to refund some of the money. Since I can't get hold of my coach or get help, I'm on my own. Why did I even sign up for the accelerated program so I can do everything on my own, liars and fake group of people? Publishing.com is for people who have money and can keep spending on advertising and all the hidden extra fees that you have to spend later on in their fake money-sucking program. I'm just here to warn other people of what I endured and suffered; now I'm stuck paying on my loan. I will do my best to report publishing.com scammers. I do have evidence of emails and payment records. Please don’t thank me just give me back my money you stole from me.

I trusted the signs that led me to Publising.com
What made my experience great? Well, after 16 years of buying program after program, which only provide pieces and parts to the huge puzzle of publishing, I FINALLY published. Before this, I failed time and time again because there was always a roadblock, either with the quality of the program, leaving out pieces, no support, confusing steps, or empty promises, or just me giving up because I couldn't see how my words would be published through a gauntlet of steps.
Publishing.com CHANGED ALL OF THAT. Following the 7DPC, within 1 month, I FINALLY published the ebook I had finished in 2011. Three months after that came my first 30K published on Amazon. My strategy was to get through the process as quickly as possible to test and see if, after 16 years of attempts that failed, a program could move me through the WHOLE process of publishing a book that is selling on Amazon...and IT DID!!!
It wasn't just that. The morning I stumbled on the ad for the program, I was writing and doing research on Youtube. The ad popped up, which I had scrolled past for YEARS. That morning, something inside me said Watch it. And for the next few hours, I watched as I got ready for work. I was compelled to do my (big decision-making) muscle test multiple times, and every time it said Yes, but I still wasn't convinced. So I paused and asked my creator for a little guidance (to show me a sign that this was the right program). At the moment, standing outside my car ready to unlock the door, the program benefits were spoken and at the same time, the sun broke through the dense winter clouds and crested over the horizon. I suddenly could see the way forward and with the sun, I just KNEW this would work and I'd finally get over the self-publishing finish line after 16 YEARS of faltering and failing to finish. I could give 10 hours a week. I could afford the sticker price with installments. I could test it and see if it had ALL of the nuts & bolts it takes to author, publish and sell books on Amazon. I purchased the program.
Three days later, I faced an unexpected challenge. Friday afternoon, I was let go from my job as a grant writer and analyst, having just wrapped up a 6-month build of their first-ever grant monitoring system. I was heartbroken. Thankfully, I qualified for unemployment benefits and a self-employment program that would allow me to continue to work intensively at something more meaningful. Nearly six months later, after making it through the highs and lows of the lessons, modules and tribulations, I am FINALLY a published author selling on Amazon!
There is no other program like AIA Publishing.com that I have found. The Business Model, the education, the guidance, the access to experts who've replicated this model (and built successful publishing businesses), and willingly share their knowledge, unequivocally show me this publishing methodology works. These self-publishing Rock Stars were once new authors just like me. I believe if it can work for them, it can work for me. But I have to do what they did. Each of them will tell you - they followed the program, and so did I. Sixteen years of nothing published to four months of two books published and selling with more in the hopper... proof is in the pudding.

A Game-Changer in Every Way!!
A Game-Changer in Every Way!!
It’s hard to put into words just how much AIA and the AIA community have meant to me.
Before joining, I was spinning my wheels—working hard but without direction. AIA didn’t just give me a strategy; it gave me a system, a mindset, and a support network unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
The step-by-step training is clear, effective, and practical. I always felt like I knew my next move. But what truly sets AIA apart is the community—people who are uplifting, generous, and just as motivated as you are. Whether you’re celebrating your first sale or facing self-doubt, someone’s there with encouragement, feedback, or a helpful tip.
Because of AIA, I’ve hit milestones I once thought were out of reach. More than that, I’m building something lasting—for myself and my family. This isn’t just about income. It’s about freedom, confidence, and creating a future you’re proud of.
If you’re on the fence, let me say this: you won’t find a better community, a more thorough roadmap, or a more empowering experience. AIA is the real deal—and I’m so glad I jumped in.

Paulette from support, my publishing experience
Paulette, from the support team, as well as the coaches and the twins, work with excellence, project genuine positivity, and are super competent, knowledgeable, and helpful. This is a top-notch company in every aspect. They are riding the waves of success and changing and evolving as the paths to financial freedom and opportunities present themselves. This is truly a win-win organization, offering the best guidance on how to become a successful publisher. It is WORK, however, and it takes time. But the team at Publishing Accelerator is with you every step of the way and genuinely cares about each detail of the process and their students’ understanding of it. I can understand it can be scary at first, committing to something new without the traditional protocols of access, including in-person and dedicated phone lines, and the possibility of all AI-generated content. The staff's efforts, as well as the coaches' weekly accessibility in live coaching calls and Q&A sessions, put me at ease. I’m grateful to be a part of this outstanding work. I’m loving every step. If you are a person seeking to become a successful publisher who is comfortable following the steps of a proven program and sticking to them, Publishing Accelerator is for you.
