Puglia Cycle Tours - fantastic hospitality, amazing accommodation, so well organised - faultless and really good value.

Another fabulous trip with PCT. 6 magical days around the southern tip of Puglia with a wide variety of landscapes and cycling. It's probably our 5th or 6th trip with PCT and each time we keep coming back. There are just so many thing they do so well as a company; universally helpful lovely staff, great service, super routes, good kit, seamless logistics, lovely hotels etc One thing really stood out this time which is worth adding, and is evidence of their dedication to delivering a great experience. Our flights as diverted due to v bad weather and we landed 4 hours late, and in the middle a large storm. Throughout the rerouting PCT were in touch with me on whatsapp and arranged a driver for our group. Many on our flight, some on fancy tours, were not so fortunate. Grazie mille to Chiara, Antonio, Valentina and all the team who always go the extra metre!

We did a six day cycling tour with a mix of ebike and regular bikes. Christina our guide was absolutely amazing at looking after everyone and meshing the team. Our support driver Stephano is a gem. The trip is a good mix of hills, city riding and country lanes. Was awesome

I recently enjoyed a superb cycling holiday planned and arranged by Cycle Puglia Tours.
Their service from throughout was of the highest standard , including the bike, GPS guidance , luggage moved on daily , support when needed, superb varied types of accommodation , in a beautiful area of Italy

Our wine biking trip through Pulgia was the best trip we have taken. The e-bikes were outstanding with 70 to 80 Kms range. The route was great through villages and bike lanes. We saw the true Italian countryside. Picking cherries from trees where the branches overhung the road was amazing. Italians were all very courteous to us bike riders. The wine experiences were all outstanding, giving us a true understanding of how wine, food, family and friends are all inextricably linked and savoured. Our accommodation was outstanding and the meals just scrumptious. Italians have no concept to underfed you. Puglia Bike company where wonderful to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. It seemed obvious that the company, wine producers and accommodation suppliers all work wonderfully together and promote the best of Italian produce. Thankyou Silvia & Antonio

This is a wonderful operation. We have booked many self-guided cycling tours and this one was as good as any of them. (Note: we have not booked their guided tours so look for reviews from those customers if that is your plan.)

Of course, it helps to be in Puglia, with gorgeous scenery and history and weather, but what distinguishes Puglia Cycle Tours is the service.

From the beginning, our contact person, Valentina, was 100% responsive and effective, a joy to work with. And then she even did the legwork for me to book an after-ride massage as a surprise for my spouse!

The bicycles were new and very sturdy with all the features we needed.

The luggage service was ahead of schedule with each delivery and a tiny noise in my front wheel led to an immediate replacement at our hotel. Again, great service.

Each hotel was local, unique and charming in their own way and wonderfully friendly. The breakfasts were varied and always delicious. (It is Italy, after all.)

We recommend this company very highly and would use them again without shopping around should we be back this way.

I did the self-guided 5-day Adriatic Cycle Tour in April

The bikes they loaned us were in good working order. We spent most of the trip on low-traffic roads but in a few places, we were on busier roads. However, the drivers in Puglia were careful around cyclists and accommodating. Furthermore, they had built or were building separated miles-long bike facilities in many places.

The countryside of Puglia was beautiful and it was fairly easy to find authentic delicious Pugliese food.

The company puts you in the heart of the old cities and villages. After riding 50-odd km, it’s nice to be within walking distance to restaurants and tourist sites. (One heads-up, it's hard to get the GPS signal in the old towns so I'd suggest writing out the first few km of directions so you don’t get turned around.)

My fiancé and I did the 7-day (5 biking) “heart of puglia” tour for my 30th birthday trip. It was above and beyond expectations. The tour had everything we wanted— incredible views, enjoyable biking, relaxed and friendly group dynamic, authentic and delicious food & drink, the right amount of “learning,” and an absolutely incredible guide (Cristina) who was really the heart of the entire experience.

We biked an average of ~43 miles/day. The biking was the right level to be very, very enjoyable while feeling like exercise. The tour takes you across many varied geographies in Puglia — ravines, small towns, olive tree groves, seaside, farming, and many beautiful rural backroads. Everyday biking was a day you were in awe at the landscape. I couldn’t stop thinking how lucky I was!! I took 800 million pictures

The atmosphere among the group was relaxed and excited. Our guide, Cristina, did an excellent job at taking cues from the group for when to pause or stop, what to explain and level of detail, etc. The family-style meals that were included (dinner at farmhouse, lunch in trulli) were *out of this world* and some of the best food experiences we’ve ever had.

Each town/city we stopped in was special and adorable. In particular, Matera was spectacular. I was glad we had extra time at the beginning of the trip to really experience it.

This is an incredibly well-curated and well-guided tour. Cristina, Adriano, and Stefano get a 100000/10!!
