My family & I loved every minute of our adventures.
We did a combo adventure tour and it was well worth it.
Next time we are in the DR we will most definitely book with Punta Cana adventures.

We highly recommend this place, the staff made this a great adventure, many added bonuses that wew were not expecting, cigar making, sugar cane display. History of the country, etc,etc. Very entertaining for all. Would go back again.

We had Angel as our guide and Pina as our driver. Both were wonderful, but Angel made this excursion fantastic!!! He had a great personality, made us all laugh and shared so much knowledge about the DR and the culture. We were absolutely exhausted by the end, but in the best way! All 6 of us in the our group had an absolute blast!! I highly recommend!

I did four excursions with them during my stay in Punta Cana 1/14-1/7 .I had an amazing time on each one . Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you ☺️

The day was wonderful! Our tour guide, I want to say Shannon? That’s how I heard it pronounced, was amazing! He spoke about 6 languages so everyone could understand. He kept us close and let us know so much too and from the excursion. Saona Island is STUNNING and the lunch served was great. We even purchased some fresh lobster on the island and had it cooked for us. Got a massage and toured around. Maybe the highlight of my trip. Thanks again!! Hired PuntaCanaAdventures for a half-day private powerboat excursion January 2024. My family of seven adults was picked up in Cap Cana and then taken to Bavaro Beach for our adventure. We started the day with great snorkeling not too far off the beach. We were adjacent to a reef and were swimming with lots and lots of colorful fish! More fish than we have ever encountered while snorkeling elsewhere in the Caribbean! We then went to a sandbar where other boats were also anchored for some swimming and mingling. The captain and his crew barbequed a delicious lunch of a variety of kebabs with fresh vegetables and shrimp, chicken and beef. Finally Punta Cana Adventures accommodated our extra request which was to go tubing off the back of the boat! The customer service provided by Gianni and Modesto was personal, very responsive and just what we wanted! I usually don't write reviews but I submit this one to guide other visitors to Punta Cana and Cap Cana who want to find a super company that delivers just what they promise!

We did the dolphin royal swim and it was excellent- all ran smoothly and went without a hitch. My only (very small) complaint was that it would have been good to know how much the pictures are ahead of time, but I probably should have asked. They were very expensive and we didn’t end up getting any.
Gianni and team were flexible and understanding when my son was sick the evening before our tour. They rescheduled it with no issues and were always very responsive.

Our guide was awesome and loved being able to have my kids learn about a unique culture.

Great excursions, great company to book with great communication

The outbound journey was great, really enjoyed seeing the natural blue lagoon swimming pool and Saona Island was amazing, the food and drinks provided were fantastic, however be mindful that pina coladas and lobster come at an extra cost.
The other concern was there were far too many vendors asking constantly about buying hats, jewellery and massages, whilst we know that these people are only trying to make money which is fine, there were too many of them, we were asked about 10 times about a massage and there are only so many times you can say no politely, once or twice is fine but it did get a bit much .
The journey back was awful, once we got back to port we waited an hour for a speed boat to take us to shore, with no one explaining why or what was going on, it felt quite intimidating to be honest.
The coach driver and our tour guide were lovely and always helpful if approached.
The mini bus drivers were rude and drove far too fast whilst on their mobile phones, so we didn’t really feel safe.
Overall a great experience on the island, but there is room for improvement.

Staff polite, new catamaran super clean, taxi boat new and immaculate. Food ok, it’s a good value for the price.

Took an excursion to Saona Island Excursion from Punta Cana. Took a few weeks to reflect on everything before posting this review.
Pros: Booking and payment were very easy.
Some of the workers were very kind and polite, make sure you tip them.
Cons: We were outside early for pick up at the right time but it took texting the vendor to locate our pick-up vehicle (which was unmarked).
There was some confusion as to what boat we would take out, and so we temporarily lost a family on our same excursion ( this delayed us in retrieving them).
The boat going out was so packed that we spent almost 2 hours in the direct sun as that was the only place left on the boat to stand or sit.
The island , while beautiful was not a place to rest or relax on the beach due to aggressive vendors constantly disturbing lounging guests (To get any peace, you have to be out in the waves).
The very lengthy sales pitch when we returned to the bus at the end of the excision was not well received as passengers were wet , tired and cold on an air conditioned bus.
We were delayed even further when the photographer followed some customers off of the bus to retrieve payment for pictures. The guide had already left us for the evening so we were pretty much at the whim of whenever he finally returned to the bus. We were late being dropped off after that, even though we built in lots of “island time” to pad our schedule.
Summary: I understand this is how folks make a living, but it should be equally understood that patrons want to enjoy themselves and be relaxed.
I would not bother booking this if I had to do it over again

The Manta Rays are trapped in a small gated enclosure. Their stingers have been CUT ✂️ 😳 OFF so they are SAFE to swim with US. You sit on the side, legs in the water, and a worker takes a Manta and goes from 1 side to the other MAN HANDELING this beautiful creature, turning it on its back so WE can see its underside. While they talk about the Rays. Then you get into the water (it's not deep *my 12yr old stood in the water* and this is there
enclosure to live in.) Then you just stand there holding this poor thing and the staff take your picture (to purchase, you are not allowed to bring your camera off the ship, probably to stop tourists from taking pictures of these horrific conditions + enclosures.) Next you switch to "swimming with nurse sharks" and those there, go to the Mantas. I didn't want to continue this excursion but just return to the ship, but I didn't want to upset my 12yr old. I knew deep down this wasn't right. You use this thing to float on that has a window to look down into the Nurse Shark SMALL GATED ENCLOSURE, GOOD LUCK FINDING THESE INNOCENT MAMMALS... why? Well they are all hovered together the bottom (not that deep) ALL facing the outer gate that leads out TO THE OPEN OCEAN... they're TRYING TO GET OUT, THEY CANT, THEY ARE TRAPPED. It us devastating to see. My heart was in pieces that my family paid $$$ to support this disgusting treatment of animals. Trapped for OUR ENTERTAINMENT, I wasn't entertained, I was sick to my stomach. But too nervous to say anything. I wanted to yell at all these people who work & provide this excursion. And obviously you cannot bring your camera to float around trying to finally spot a shark, and they're not taking pictures this time, why? Well, because are they going to take pictures of all these Nurse Sharks crowded together facing the gate to the open waters in this extremely small enclosure.
YOUTUBE or GOOGLE this and you'll see videos of people trying to stop others from paying $$$ to support this FILTH.
I also was told that it's the same with the Dolphins... so extremely sad. Just to entertain humans. There's plenty of places you can swim with Rays, Sharks and Dolphins that are treated BETTER, with huge enclosures. Educate yourself! I'm not bashing DR or Punta Cana, I've been to the island coming up my 6th time (5th in PC) in March.

You want a tour with animals... Monkeyland 100% I'll be doing my 2nd trip there in March. All ages will enjoy! Don't book with this company that also offers the swimming with Rays, Sharks, and Dolphins, support a company that isn't about making $$$ torturing animals.

"Booking with Punta Cana Adventure was easy and well-organized. However, the tour itself was less enjoyable. The tour operator in Punta Cana subjected us to a 15-minute sales pitch by a local vendor who boarded the bus before our return to the hotel to sell us a local drink. I found this intrusive as I did not consent to being held captive to listen to a vendor I had never authorized. This was not indicated anywhere in the tour description. Be cautious if you wish to avoid a similar experience."

There lack communication to determine pick up, we were left without transportation to our excursion because we were “late” according to them, they went to two pick up spots instead of the intended first one, then blamed us and told us we would have no refund for our $300 USD experience. When asked to reschedule for the next day Modesto the man on what’s app told us no, he wanted to schedule us for a day we would already be out of the country and if we did not accept that day no refund would be given even if excursión was not completed. It was a very poor service we received from them and were spoken to very rudely. We were told that we needed to pay for a cab if we actually wanted to be there, instead of being picked up by the company we already payed $300 too. Very shady, be careful booking with them, will not recommend again.

The guides were amazing, wanting to make sure every person was having an amazing time. We laughed, enjoyed an amazing ride and made great memories! Highly recommend!

We booked the monkey land and buggies tour for our family and cannot recommend this company enough!! Our son fell ill a couple of days before our excursion and I was super worried about not being able to cancel within the window, but also the kids were really looking forward to this and we weren’t sure if my son was going to improve enough to be able to go. The owner called me and stayed in touch over WhatsApp to see how he was and reassured me that if we needed to cancel it would be no problem at all and that the priority was my son’s health. I was given an extended time to confirm the reservation and the night before the tour he called and I advised he was much better and would be able to proceed. That is customer service.

The monkey land tour was so fun, I only wish it was a little longer and that the photos were included in the price but $40USD for all photos seemed reasonable. A light snack was included which was appreciated because it is a very long day. Wifi on the buses would be a great perk if they could swing it as you spend about 4 hours in transit. The buggies were sooo fun and worth it n almost an hour of atving around and splashing in muddy puddles. Would definately recommend this tour and company to other families!!

Catamaran was powered by motor vs. sail. The snorkeling took place not very far from the starting point and actually all activities happened within a relatively short distance from where we started.

The only negative I have to share is that the music was deafing and you couldn't talk. I had to stop trying to talk to someone because I was coughing after trying to be heard and yelling. I've had an operation in my ear to correct hearing loss, and loosing hearing in the other ear also now, and I did use ear plugs for the last 1/2 hour and wish I had kept them in for the hours spent on board.
