£100 for two cakes
I paid an astounding £100 for two cakes. One small chocolate cake and a big - bigger than I had asked for - Victoria sponge with whipped cream and strawberry filling. Both cakes were dry and the Victoria sponge had hardly any strawberries in it. This was for my mother's 100th birthday. The company sets out all its awards on its website so I thought I could trust them to be good, exceptional given the price. But let me warn you, these cakes were bad.

Your order was discussed with you in person, the price was quoted and accepted before the cakes were made, and both cakes were freshly baked and delivered to you as agreed.
Following your complaint, we carefully investigated the concerns you raised. Having reviewed the order and the photographs provided, we do not believe the cakes were faulty or supplied differently to what was ordered, and for that reason we were unable to offer a refund.
We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but we stand by the quality of the cakes supplied.
