We recently purchased a solid wooden arch for our garden.
Purchase was easy and delivery day came but sadly one of our side panels was damaged.
We spoke to customer service who were immediately on board and organised a replacement within a couple of days.
Sometimes things don’t go smoothly that’s life but it is how problem's are dealt with that makes the difference.
We could not recommend them highly enough and we shall be purchasing another item soon. Enough said!!!

Very unprofessional, placed an order on Thursday and hadn’t had a dispatch email so contacted them, they had cancelled my order as they don’t deliver to my address, my address is in the UK and It doesn’t state that on the website. I now have to wait for a refund. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

He is very knowledgeable and patient and goes the extra mile to help. He is a credit to the QD group and an excellent ambassador. He should be acknowledged by his superiors. Documented evidence of hate crime and…
Documented evidence of hate crime and false allegations of shoplifting in Anglia Square, including malicious phone use to falsley contact Norwich police to attend. Had I been charged with anything id see to it you would face fines and small claims court. This was around 18 months back, this time the sales staff were using offensive safeguarding lanuage and denied it to the manager who was equally as arrogant and refused to investigate the occurance/offence describing this event of never taking place, despite the male member after the other staff member that called out executed after 2 male asians were using phones describing the name of my child. I have a complete apology for the first offence and it was clear this will be used in court if further offences take place like today.
Your stores staff are truly beyond redemption if what I am saying is correct which judged on my other evidence is likely. I don't know who'd five star this place. Very very unsafe.

Wow what brilliant customer service…
Wow what brilliant customer service when I contacted QD stores main office.
I purchased a metal archway end of 2024 in the sale and simply put it in my gardening cupboard and forgot about it,I got it out to put up in summer 2025 only to find it was missing instruction sheet and all the screws, so I contacted head office just to ask what size screws were needed as packaging didnt show anything related and their lovely advisor arranged with my local QD store for me to collect a print out of the instructions plus replacement screws from them.
That is 5 star customer service . I'm very grateful for their assistance .

Misleading Rewards display
Display advertised two different Summer Body sprays at 20% off with Rewards. Nothing obviously stated the pink fragrance was not included in the offer. Generic sign on display saying Summer Beach Rewards 20% off and nothing on that sign stating Caramel only. Mix of ticketing on shelves. At till turns out only caramel is included. I asked for a refund to which I was told I would get a credit voucher. I don’t want voucher I said. Your display is not clear so the error is down to you. After sometime I was given a cash refund. On looking at the display with the manager, she still would not concede that the display was misleading and argued the sign (facing another direction) said caramel only. I said but from where I am standing all appear to be included. She just walked away.

Excellent Customer Service
I purchased a garden ornament windmill online as a present for my Mum, on opening this the windmill was unfortunately damaged.
Having called customer service was advised to send an email with pictures which I did.
The email was sent late Friday but by the Monday had a response from Bella apologising for this and as I’d requested a replacement confirmed that another windmill would be sent to me if in stock.
Received another windmill but this time the solar lights were not fully working, once again sent an email and a picture of the item and received another response from Bella to confirm that a new item would be sent to me.
As it had been a week since Bella’s email and I’d not heard from the courier I dropped Bella another email, once again she come back to me with a response to advised when the item had been shipped.
Item has now been received and third time lucky the item is perfect.
I work in customer service and would like Bella to be recognised for how efficient she has been with getting back to me and finally resolving the issue.
Thank you Bella for all your help with this my Mum is now over the moon with her item and this is down to you and your communication.

Refunds not accepted
Normally it's handy and cheap, which in current times is handy. However, I purchased an item that transpired I didn't need to because I already had one. So I took the item and the receipt back to the store and they refused to refund me as apparently QD policy is store credit only. What a deceitful way to run a business.
That's the reason for the 1 star because there is no customer care, underhand business practices and now a company I will never purchase from again. Christ, even amazon gives refunds

When did Bright become a colour?
We have shopped at this store for many years and have always found their products keenly priced and good value.
However the one time we have tried to return an item for refund they have refused.these were a set of garden lights,described on the label as bright white lights which QD state were referring to the colour and not the brightness???
Any excuse I guess
So the reply from qd has taken 7 weeks and is the same story in that in their case bright has nothing to do with Brightness

Amazing customer service two days in a row. The team went out of their way to help us with purchasing numerous plant pots, plants and compost. One young lady even pushed my trolley for me. Thank you
