We recently completed our ISO 9001 and 14001 re-certification audit with Citation, and the experience was extremely positive.

In particular, Jerry’s approach as auditor was excellent. He struck exactly the right balance between ensuring compliance with the standards and working practically with us to reflect how our business genuinely operates. Rather than a purely “tick-box” exercise, the audit process felt constructive and aligned with real-world delivery, which made it both efficient and valuable.

Jerry took the time to understand our systems and the nature of our projects, clearly explaining requirements where needed and helping us ensure that our documentation accurately represented our processes. This made what could otherwise be a demanding exercise relatively straightforward and well-structured.

From our side, having strong underlying systems and a clear operational approach allowed for a collaborative and professional audit process, which worked well alongside Jerry’s pragmatic and supportive style.

Overall, a very good experience — and a strong example of how the audit process can add real value when approached in the right way.

We have recently completed three successful days of ISO assessments carried out by one of Citation’s assessors. Although Douro appeared extremely thorough, he was very approachable and provided valuable, professional feedback throughout the process.

George Craig conducted a great external audit. He made what can often be an onerous process interesting, insightful and positive. Simon Langston completed an audit for our ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications, and I wanted to take the opportunity to recognise the quality of his work.

Had our ISO 140001 review with Oliver Manifold, he was very helpful, and made sure that I had a full understanding of all the points, I would really recommend.

Our first audit, conducted by Colin Turley, was the opposite of what I was expecting. I was expecting an intense session, with someone try to catch me out, instead what we had was a friendly auditor, who supported us through the process and really put me an ease (even making a few jokes along the way!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Citation or Colin to anyone else, and hope to see Colin at a future audit!

James the audior was brilliant. External audits are never fun, but he made it pleasant.
