I can’t access my notifications online every time I swipe my debit card for purchases the push notification will not work . I may have to change banks do discover

This bank is simply underhanded. They sent a paper letter (no email) on the date my CD matured giving me 10 days to stop the auto-renewal. I got the letter a day after the 10 day period was over. And they asked for 3 months of interest when I called them on day 12 after the date it renewed. Other banks offer 30 days and you can do this electronically and not have to cancel. Quontic is not a place to trust your money in

Same experience as the others in the reviews, went through the whole process to set up a CD account, as s very highly qualified applicant, We have many other CDs, people offering us financing of all sorts based upon our credit status. We have never encountered an issue with any bank until Quontic. Got a quick automated denial and the bank was unable to help and that it was my responsibility to look at my account and fix and there was nothing they could tell me or do to help me. Makes no sense and quite frankly supports a significant drop in the rating of the bank.

Going thru mortgage financing can be very painful Quontic Bank made the process much easier! With Marcelo Bianchi-Montana and Patricia Almodovar leading the process, communication and professionalism far exceeded expectations. I look forward to working with you guys again in the future!

Got an automated denial and the bank refused to help me on the phone saying there is no way to remedy it or send proof of my identity. Absolutely kafka-esque experience.

I tried to open an account online. Before doing so, I contacted them to ask if I needed to unlock my credit report before submitting the application, and they said "No, we don't recommend you do that". I submitted the application, and in a matter of seconds it popped up a message that I was denied, and said they were sending an email with more details. Bear in mind this was not for a loan or anything like that, just to open an account. The email didn't really say anything, so I called them. They told me they couldn't be sure why I was denied (!), because it was determined by a 3rd party, but reviewing my application, they said it was probably because my credit report was frozen! I said, "Well, I did ask you about that. I guess I need to unfreeze it and reapply". She said, "Unfortunately, our policy is not to accept someone after they have been denied once. You can try again in a few months". Are you kidding me?!! My credit score is over 800, and I did nothing but follow their instructions. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had the same experience as another reviewer. Spent all the time to set up an account, give them a lot of information and in the end got denied a CD account.
Don't waste your time trying to open an account with them

Applied for a CD. First time. Went through the whole process including SS# etc. Then at the end, it told me i wasn't qualified for the acct and ended it. I am certainly qualified for ANY account at any bank. Bad vibe off this. Beware applying, giving out ALL of your info only to be told, sorry, too bad.

This is my 2nd home purchase with Joseph and his team (Christina and Julissa). Both times were great experiences because Joseph is so knowledgeable and takes his time explaining the process and answering all your questions. Christina and Julissa go over and beyond to get all the behind the scenes work done. Would highly recommend not only this amazing team but also Quontic's competitive loan terms. I've had a solidly trustworthy experience with Quontic for the few years we've had several account types there. I love their payment ring that requires no charging like a Smart Ring. It is very handy for quick small payments at tap terminals.
My only complaint would be their low dollar limits for ACH transfers to external banks, otherwise it's been an excellent financial institution.

Like others, I'm extremely nervous that Quontic has my personal data after declining the submission, no reason given.

Despite my excellent credit, zero debt, high bank balances, the simple procedure of '3 mins to a CD' online failed 3 times. All my information was correct, the submission accepted, and 5 minutes later I had emails telling me I was declined but they were 'unable to provide any reason'. I called their customer service number, a helpful assistant told me she had no idea and 'you accepted the terms' (yes: read, understood, and all was fine) — and once declined this was forever! Never allowed to apply again. I complained via email, and 24 hours later received a 5th confirmation that repeated the 'declined and we're not telling you why' story.

As this shockingly bizarre reaction to a simple account application with supporting documents is online and Quontic now has my personal data, I contacted my bank to flag the issue.

My bank now has an escalated alert on my accounts for fraud, and any suspicious activity as a result of this very unusual decision. They were concerned for me as a long-time customer too.

Bottom line: don't use them. If a company cannot be transparent — they don't deserve YOUR money.
