I think this company may be a scam
I think this company may be a scam! I ordered a beer box for a friends birthday 2 weeks before the date and paid for express delivery. After that I heard nothing at all! I chased and got brushed off. Then 2 days before his birthday the beers had still not arrived despite being promised they would. Eventually managed to get a refund but had no gift for my friend. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company at all costs.

EVRI the company Qwerty don't use!!!
My son who works in Taiwan thought it would be a nice idea to send me a box of beer for my 75th birthday. Great idea unfortunately despite Qwerty stating several times in the reviews I've read that EVRI is not delivering for them, the truth is yes they are. So should have been delivered on the 26th, not a sign of it just a message from EVRI saying unfortunately there was a problem with the delivery..Saturday not a sign of any notification as to the whereabouts of my parcel. Sunday a glimmer of hope, a delivery slot in the afternoon, celebrations yes but not for long. EVRI message unable to deliver the parcel, no explanation just they will try again to deliver the next working day which is today Monday..Back to the messages on the EVRI app which remember this company no longer use..We have your parcel and it will be delivered today..I will not be holding my breath..So Qwerty would you like to explain how a courier company you stated several times you no longer use has made such an arse of doing the job you employed them for. I have told my son to ask for a refund. An absolute farce..Plus a few porky pies..Don't use EVRI for deliveries my backside.

I've just requested some more information on your order - so we can double-check what's happened - it would be great if you could share this with us via our customer service email.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience with your gift here - that is not what we expect from any of the couriers that we use.
RE using EVRI - we have been trialling sending a small portion of our orders with them over the last month. This was an intentional decision based on the performance of EVRI Vs the other couriers in the area (EVRI came out on top). We review this on an ongoing basis and as and when new data becomes available, act accordingly.
I apologise that this gift delivery experience has been poor, and we are looking to get this fixed asap and ensure you are delighted with the result.

Issues with delivery but they sorted it out
Updated my review: Have used them twice. First time, no issues. Second time, there was a problem with the delivery. The order got damaged, but rather than marking it as such, Evri just put it down as undelivered without communicating any of this. From our perspective, the order was due to be delivered then just got cancelled for no reason.
This was frustrating, but Querty were quick to sort it out and sent out a second delivery straight away. Before they know what had happened to the first, they offered to let us keep both if it did turn up. Once they found out what happened, they processed a 10% refund as a gesture of goodwill.
Their beer is good and does come as advertised. I just hope they can reconsider using Evri for deliveries. They said that their own internal data showed that Evri preformed the best, but I'm sceptical of that claim considering Evri's reputation

We apologise for the issues with your order - this is crap and we don't expect this from any courier we use. Our team are reaching out to you separately about the specifics of this and ensuring we deliver.
RE using EVRI - we have started sending a small % of our orders with EVRI over the last month. This was an intentional decision after collecting data from our shipping partner on the performance of the top 5 couriers from our area and seeing that EVRI's performance came out on top.
I appreciate that the delivery of your gift has been sub par - and again I apologise that this order has not gone smoothly for you (as said we are keen to get your order sorted asap), but our re-trial of EVRI is based on new information. As I am sure you can appreciate, if the data of which you base a decsion changes - the only rational thing to do is to take that change into consideration.
We will take this feedback on board and continue to monitor the performance of our couriers and act accordingly.

Delayed order & out of date beer
Order was first of all delayed, and it was very difficult to arrange a re delivery, I know this isn't the fault of the company but they offered no help to locate the order, and didn't reply to emails or instagram messages.
Once i finally got hold of the box, the first two beers i drank had sediment in the bottom, as a result of being bad quality or out of date.
I've written to them numerous times to get it sorted out, but keep getting either ignored or fobbed off with a "we will be back in touch soon" message.
unprofessional and unorganised, avoid at all costs, and go with one of the other beer suppliers like Beer52 for a better experience.

Failed to meet next day delivery
Ordered next day, on the basis that there was a comment a couple of months ago saying they didn't use Evri. Unfortunately they seem to have reverted back to Evri, so the parcel went missing for 24 hours (no surprise there) and was a day late, missing a birthday celebration. I would advise not relying on the next day delivery service. Extra fees are being refunded, but this is not the point. My bad for assuming that if they moved away from Evri 3 months ago, they wouldn't have gone back so soon.

We’re a very small team of just three people, and we genuinely care about every order that goes out. Hearing that this let you down isn’t something we take lightly.
You’re absolutely right, we did previously say we were no longer using Evri, and I completely understand why it was frustrating to see them involved again. The only reason they were used in your case was due to a very short transition period while we were moving between courier arrangements.
We’ve also recently moved to a new warehouse and transitioned to Royal Mail and DPD for deliveries. Since making these changes, things have been running much more smoothly and we haven’t seen the issues we previously experienced.
That said, this doesn’t undo your experience, and I’m really sorry we missed the mark on something that mattered.
If you’re open to it, I’d really appreciate the chance to make this right for you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly and I’ll personally take care of it.
I ordered a Christmas gift of QWERTY…
I ordered a Christmas gift of QWERTY beer for a friend. It didn’t arrive when it was supposed to but another was sent out immediately upon being told of my problem. Again, this one was damaged in transit by the couriers who failed to tell QWERTY. I, again, told Robyn of my problem and she, again, checked things out. She discovered the damage report and offered a refund or another try at delivery. I asked that they try one more time. It was, finally, delivered and my friend was very thankful

The box arrived very quickly but with two broken bottles. Amazing that dpd would deliver it in that condition.
Querty responded immediately and I received a replacement box (intact) two days later. Excellent service and great beer.

Steer Clear.
Wrong box sent. It arrived in decent time but stupidly I didn’t check it, you know, thinking that the company I ordered it from would send the correct item. When I let them know they promptly blamed their new fulfilment partner.
It took over a week of chasing to resolve.
I requested that incorrect order be collected - which they said would have to be done before the correct item was sent out. Then backtracked on the 3rd and said that a replacement would be sent next day - that didn’t happen.
A courier turned up with zero contact from company while I was out. They blamed the delivery company for not letting me know - it’s 100% the responsibility of QWERTY - not the delivery company.
Packaging on advent calendar when finally received really poor & doors difficult to open without using something to cut through them.
Oh - I was offered a 10% discount as an apology - they must be delusional! After that experience I would never ever use them again. Steer clear.

After my parcel didn’t arrive when it said it was delivered i even checked home cctv, I got in touch with the support team and Robyn was very helpful and got me a new parcel sent which i received today I am over the moon with it and can’t wait to gift it to the person i bought it for at Christmas.

A Mixed Review
The Beer Box was fine, as expected. Unfortunately there was a hiccup with the courier Evri who obviously misdelivered it - it appeared on my doorstep between 1am and 5am the day after Evri claimed they delivered it to me. Finally, there was no gift wrapping, which I ordered and paid for (it was a birthday present). Since my initial review, QWERTY have apologized, offered to refund my payment for gift wrapping and are taking steps to disassociate their company from the courier Evri. Finally, I repeat that I was totally satisfied with the Beer Box product.
