Broke down at about 10am 3 Aug. The initial assistance by Matt was very good. Moved to car park about midday. There was then a horrendous delay in recovering me and my dog to the camp site. Finally recovered at 7.15 the next day after many false ETA's and delays. The mechanics James and Hugh visited the camp site and were wonderful.

Thanks to rac for getting me back on the road by replacing the water pump on my dacia ,when i was told by the dealer it would take 8 weeks by them under warranty .lewis the mechanic was very polite and profesional in what he did ,would recommend the rac mobile service to anyone

The mobile mechanic supplied and fitted a wrong Starter Motor on my car hence the car still did not start. He went about looking for other reasons to justify why car would not start and claimed my car had a gearbox problem which was why it would not start despite the new starter motor. When I took the car to my garage, it was discovered that he fitted a wrong starter motor. My garage fitted the correct starter motor and car now starts and works properly. Very poor service provided that did not solve problem on my car and seeking to justify the failure by pointing to non existent fault. (Ross Fenner, RAC mobile mechanic for).
The booking process was also dubious. When booked i was told I could change or cancel with 24 hours notice but the email confirmation said 48 hours and if not enough notice is given I had to pay £50.00 to change or cancel whereas at the time of booking I actually had less than 48 hours so I was forced to stick with RAC for the repairs which was eventually botched.
VERY POOR SERVICE!!

Mitch Quinn was a great guy who came to service our car today. He answered all our questions and gave us helpful advice. Everything was left clean and tidy, we would thoroughly recommend him.

Again rac very efficient.polite explained everything. Kept in the loop everything step of the way. Updates regularly
