Having spent thousands with RA Dalton on the installation of a treatment plant at our residential property, when it came to arranging a visit to solve a blown fuse / pump issue some years later they didn’t want to know - we were unhelpfully told that as we hadn't subscribed to their ‘service plan’ there was nothing they could do. What happened to good old, straight forward customer service? That is something RA Dalton are sadly lacking.

I've had to rate my experience at 1 star, as I haven't even got as far as to recieve a service. I just seem to be getting ignored or fobbed off, and its been that way for weeks and weeks now while I'm sat with no drain at all.
Referred to RA Dalton by another local (and reliable) firm for an extensive drain run and connection, but since then just been met with brick walls.
I'll have to try and find another contractor now after paying for drain surveys with nothing at all to show for it, and don't even have any plans.

The engineer who attended our site was very polite, very efficient and just got on with the job, explaining what he was doing and why.
Just a little disappointed that no one thought to contact me to say they wouldn’t be with us at the appointment time/day.
So I was a little concerned that the engineer could have been involved in a RTA

What a refreshing experience dealing with such a professional company in this day and age. We purchased an old rural property and reached out to RA Dalton to do a survey on a very old and dysfunctional septic tank prior to the sale. We met Ian Murray who was very professional and helpful to the extent that after the sale we then instructed RA Dalton to install a new water treatment plant. They never tried to rip us off or over charge but went out of their way to find the best and most cost effective solution. The installation team led by Stephen Dalton were just as professional, helpful and experienced and the whole process from start to finish was outstanding service wise. Great guys and great service and great product!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough!!

The customer service of this firm is absolutely second to none - they go the extra mile to help, and then some! It is so refreshing in this day and age of recorded messages and artificial voices, to get straight through to a human - and a caring and proactive one!

I cannot fault the service provided by this firm. All the engineers I have had dealings with have been polite, friendly and efficient. The director of the company personally dashed down days before Christmas to sort out an issue with my system as he did not want me worrying over the festive period. Amazing

I telephoned RA Dalton’s to say the warning light had come on for my pump station which they installed many years ago and the installation was great. But the young lady who answered my call showed no empathy or interest in my problem just said they didn’t have any engineers available and they couldn’t help me not what I was expecting.
The installation was done by RA Dalton invoice no 2071 for a crude pumping station and an effluent pump total cost £3450 I have the receipt if you need proof also the girl who showed no empathy or interest would not recommend another company she told me to google it, it was only when I phoned a company in Crook which is your sister company that another girl when pushed told me of another company but couldn’t recommend them. When I phoned Hutchinson Environmental Solutions even though they were really busy with no engineer available she managed to get an engineer out to me that afternoon fantastic service you should ring them and see how staff should respond to customer service.

Have used RA Dalton for a number of years. Very efficient reminding us of 6 monthly service and then arranging suitable date. Staff always very pleasant and helpful on the phone. After service we are always sent copy of Engineer's comprehensive report. Recently had slight "emergency" and had to ring emergency call out number out of hours. Call answered and Engineer attended and sorted the problem very quickly. Very happy with the service.

Dalton are highly professional. They are very well equipped, technically competent in their field, do what they say and are always extremely courteous and responsive. I do not generally respond to requests for feedback but Dalton are exceptional and I am pleased to do so.

I have been dealing with RAD since 2017. In that time they have been excellent even converting an obsolescent system to modern standards in 2022. This recent visit was as usual on schedule and the work carried out in a pleasant manner.

We have dealt with this company for over 25 years now. Their work has always been of a high standard and they are very prompt to attend if we need an emergency call out. We get detailed thorough reports and good advice to maintain our wate water system in optimal condition

Dalton were very flexible in agreeing the date for a tank emptying and driver arrived on time and was very courteous and completed the job efficiently

These guys are spot on - they give great customer service and so very knowledgeable on wastewater systems

They are always really helpful. They present photos of the condition of the unit and are very clear as to what their services cover and the cost of it. Used them for several years now and always received a reliable and informative service.
