Saw this bottle being used as a wedding present and checked it out and ordered one. Well wrapped and presented, hopefully it will taste as good as the bottle and packaging looks.

I live locally & ordered & beautiful gin hamper , it was for a raffle prize. The presentation was superb & the hamper went down extremely well as a prize. Huge thank you to the staff which were superb & the bar & cottages are stunning.

I live local and it’s the first time I’ve been up to collect some gin after receiving some as a present. The shop and distillery is stunning. The cottages and grounds are lovely too. Picked up my order very easily as it was waiting for me and had a wonderful conversation with the lad that got me my order.

If you want to do a tour, tour the Jackton distillery. A mere 30 minute ride from Glasgow, owned by a family, this team of specialists and experts are turning malt into the beautiful golden spirit we all love.

The tour itself, emceed by Katie, is a fantastic experience. She takes you through the complete process, starting with the barley, the milling and malting, the grist and the grits (you gotta visit to know the difference ;) ) , the fermentation, distillation, the maturation (all those casks and the scented air), the different casks, finished with a tasting experience that has no words.

I found the whole tour very intimate, organic, not a product by itself, but the actual opposite. It makes you fall in love with the distillery, the people and the process. The people are very kind, and Katie is a gem. Jackton should be glad they have Katie helming this end for them.

The whisky itself is less canon, surprising, and deliciously so. Do check out their Amontillado cask and PX cask offerings. Fantastic. Pity I cannot order it in Ireland. Leaving the distillery, I felt I was leaving a close knit family geared towards a common goal - To make a great whisky. I feel very grateful to have been a member of that family, albeit for 60-75 minutes.

Katie, thank you for your great tour. Informative, passionate, and got us all involved whilst showing us around the full process of production at Raer. The tasting was great in the new Bar and shop area. We met more of the team, Claragh and Colin and were giving some exceptional cocktails to try.
