I wish I had seen these reviews before buying. It is nothing but a scam. I rejected it after getting 1 tsp of water after a solid week of being on, doesn't work, won't supply a return address, now saying I have to keep the temperature above 18c. Avoid at all costs. Dozens of emails later, now in the hands of my credit card company.

I wish I was properly read all this reviews before purchasing this rubbish dehumidifier.
It's tiring to send back and forward this email to Raveno that the product does not work.
So annoying that I spent my money for a such a cheap Chinese,low quality dehumidifier,which it doesn't work.
I can see they write the some emails to all customers just to make them fed up and give up.
Don't ever make this mistake to buy from Raveno
I did buy it with my debit card and I am not sure if I reported my bank will get my money back.
They always said to contact the company but this is fake company in China with UK address.

In the first instance I suggest contacting citizen advice ( uk national headquarters, rather than your local branch) they will in turn inform trading standards, and also provide you with a complaint template, to be filled in by yourself and sent to your bank, your bank will forward to Visa, they will ask for receipts/and dealings with this company, but you need to explain the company refuses to communicate in any way. As I mentioned earlier I have just received my money back in full, but guess what I have just received an email for Raveno, yes Raveno asking for there goods to be returned otherwise they are going to counter claim,
Please stay well clear of this company

P.S update, now I have received a full refund from Visa, Raveno continue to email me everyday hoping to get to there goods back or hope I will pay proportion of the total and keep the goods, I have no issue with sending there goods back, other than they flatly refuse to send me a returns address with which to do so,

So the story goes on, an exchange of 67 emails has resulted in an address for the return of the unit. I got them from 3% refund to avoid having to return the unit to China and incur the associated costs to 40%. Fortunately I paid by credit card so have managed to obtain a full refund for this piece of rubbish, which they have now discovered and are threatening me unless I return the item, hysterical. I also like that they have been putting up fake reviews on here.

Under no circumstance should you use this company. There returns policy means nothing. The product is not fit for purpose. They are scamming people. DO NOtT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to loose your money

I requested a refund but its been 3 months excuses and email no phone number or address. What a shambles and what a terrible company keep on changing company names to avoid paying back customers.

Scam company. Selling dodgy equipment you can get on Aliexpress for £10. Funny enough item didn't work. They keep ignoring my responses. And sending same message over and over again " Dear customer, thank you for your letter.

Just wish I had read the reviews on this company before buying. This “dehumidifier” turned out to be the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought, absolutely useless as a dehumidifier and really not fit for purpose. Complaining to the company was like knocking my head against a brick wall, they kept offering me pathetic amounts as compensation,the first being £4.13 which went up every day until it reached £27.
I finally put it into the hands of my credit card company as a Chargeback and got my money back that way.

This scam company has basically stolen our money. I would like to see a ban on Chinese companies advertising their products in the UK. Those terrible clothing companies using finite resources to produce total rubbish, if you receive anything at all. Shocking.

Don't buy the Covatar Dehumidifier under any circumstances. You may have found the dehumidifier from a recommendation on the site "Top3-Reviews", the previous top one on this site was called Raveno Dehumidifier, which has now been rebranded the Covatar Dehumidifier, literally the identical product on both the review and product website. We bought the Raveno Dehumidifier at the end of last year and quite frankly it appears to be just a fan in a cheap plastic box, it certainly does not act like a dehumidifier should, it removed 50ml (probably just condensation I would guess) over 2 days in a heated room with wet clothes, my previous Delonghi one which I had for 20 years would have removed about a gallon during these 2 days. As stated earlier the Raveno dehumifier has simply been rebranded as "Covatar dehumidifier" in "Top3-reviews.org" website and the Covatar dehumidifier website. Search for "raveno" in Trustpilot to see the review for the product, there is even a BBC podcast on this scam, search on-line for "BBC dehumidifier podcast". On a related note the dehumidifier we received is about a third of the size of that depicted on all of the images, being about 40cm tall. In addition this review is the only review or article of any kind on "Top3-reviews.org". All links simply go back to the home page, you can draw your own conclusion

When we have tried to get our money back, stating the reason it didn't work, the following is a copy and paste of the response we received

4. The return policy stipulates that the return address must be provided by us.
Our return address is not the address on the package, we only accept the return address we provide; if you return the package to any other address than the address we provide, we will not be able to receive the package, and at that time, all losses will be borne by the buyer .
If you want a full refund, you will need to return the item and pay shipping costs, as well as customs duties. Returning items from your location to China will cost a lot of money and time.
In this case, how about we refund you 3% of the order and you don't return the package? You can leave items there as gifts for your friends or family.

Despite several requests a return address was never provided, UK or otherwise. We pointed out the legal obligation to provide a UK return address which we still never received and have since been told to provide videos on the lack of functionality of the de-humidifier, which we have done. We were then asked for the humidity in the room and the static temperature of the room for a 3 day period . Clearly this is a delay tactic in the hope we would go away or the company would fold. We have managed to find a trading name and Company Number in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong of the possible responsible parties. As there is a possibility the traders have used others information we will not publish it

In Summary - dont buy!!!!

Impossible to return an unsuitable product - bought a dehumidifier that's not suitable for my conditions. After many emails, I was given a return address in China and told to pay my own postage

Wish I read the reviews before I purchased this fan it ain’t a dehumidifier. Like everyone who has left a bad review and actually had to give a 1 star puts a knife into the wound.
Yes like other conned customers tried getting a refund many times and many multiple copied replies that the customer service wasn’t interested in giving you a refund absolutely ridiculous and disgusting that they can add UK .
So folks don’t buy and if you can it’s hard don’t buy from China.

Read the reviews on their page and stop idly only went on them , tried to cancel 25 mins later but couldn’t, waited 15 days for product , very substandard, didn’t draw any moisture , brought a different make and this one worked perfectly .
I have several emails to and forth from raveno. Asking for info photos etc, all these sent , now they want a video so I have now started a dispute with my bank as raveno still will not refund .
Please please avoid this company .

UPDATE my bank has now refunded me for now , but now raveno are emailing me with all sorts of emails justifying their dehumidifier is working perfectly ok. If you’re able dispute through your bank or credit card I definately would .

This company are misleading the public it’s a Chinese company masquerading as UK delivery took weeks and when arrived item was nothing like what was advertised.
Tried to contact multiple times they just respond with the same generic email Everytime without dealing with the problem.
And if you think you could return item think again.
Absolute nightmare AVOID PURCHASE AT ALL COSTS

Omg we ordered this Dehumidifier after reading absolutely fake reviews for this company.it was a nightmare no invoice or instructions. No address to send it back to. It was its not fit for purpose.it was a cheap bit of lightweight tat. We have boxed it up ready to send back but the company are really not been cooperative with us to get it back to them. Also when we phoned our bank. We were told that the company had put a continuous payment order for more money to come out of our bank account at regular intervals. So its also a money scam from China. Please don't fall into the same trap as we have.

No paid invoice in the parcel or sent by email. No brand on dehumidifier. No proper instructions. Items given numbers but no instruction as to its function or how to use?

After looking up return policy it wants a none existent order number. No paperwork supplied!

It states they do not supply pre paid return labels and customer must pay for shipping. This is unlawful under Consumer Rights Act 2015, as they advertise as a UK online business.
