Ready Health Clinic is a private healthcare clinic based in Standish, near Wigan, providing accessible, professional and patient-focused healthcare for individuals and families. We believe private healthcare should be straightforward, convenient and centred around the individual. Our aim is to provide patients with timely access to experienced healthcare professionals, longer consultations where appropriate, and clear advice so that patients can make informed decisions about their health. Our services include private GP appointments, ADHD assessments and medication titration, weight management services, health screening, blood tests, vaccinations, men's health, women's health, minor illness and a range of other private healthcare services. We also provide face-to-face and virtual consultations, helping patients choose an option that fits around their needs. Our clinical team includes experienced doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who work within their professional scope of practice and follow appropriate clinical and regulatory standards. Patient safety is at the centre of everything we do, with appropriate clinical assessments, prescribing checks, monitoring and follow-up built into our services. We understand that seeking healthcare privately can sometimes feel unfamiliar or complicated. We therefore aim to make every stage of the process as clear as possible, from booking an appointment through to treatment, follow-up and ongoing care. Great experience. Easy to book appointment on line for menopause review. Doctor was easy to talk to and professional. Quick blood test and the results came through very quickly. Would recommend.

I would give 0 star if I could - Very disappointing experience with my 16-month-old son
When booking, I had already clearly explained that he had been unwell for over a week, with a persistent fever, yellow/green nasal discharge and yellow/green discharge from his eyes.
I booked a 15-minute doctor consultation for £49. Before the doctor had even seen or examined my son, the clinic called me and said his case would require more time and I would have to pay an extra £40, bringing the total to £89. I agreed because I was worried about my son and expected a thorough examination. However, when they sent me a revised confirmation email with the new fee, I noticed that they had arranged a nurse consultation for my son which was ridiculous! I rang them to say I booked a doctor consultation not a nurse and they changed it back to a doctor appointment straight away. I was speechless on how could they manage their business like that!?
During the consultation, only his lungs were checked. His ears and throat were not examined. We were simply told that a viral infection could cause a fever for up to two weeks and to continue with paracetamol and ibuprofen.
By 30 September, he had been feverish for 11 days and his right ear was discharging yellow/green fluid. Another GP examined him and immediately prescribed antibiotics, and was surprised that he had been unwell for so long.
I am not complaining simply because antibiotics were not prescribed. My concern is that I was asked to pay almost twice the original fee before my son had even been seen, despite the clinic already knowing his symptoms, yet the actual examination was extremely limited.
Very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend to anyone! I have completely lost confidence in this private service! My son was seen by Dr. Bandaru!

Recently I had a few head cysts removed, Dr. Swift was very competent and put me totally at ease. I would certainly recommend to anyone, especially if at all nervous, and they do not shave your hair. A very professional company, lovely staff.

The nurse practitioner was really thorough, patient and put me at ease. I was seen within 1 day for an appointment I had to wait 2 months for with my GP.
