I visited a concert in the Netherlands…

I visited a concert in the Netherlands yesterday evening, in the Nicolaichurch. This was a Ghibli filmmusic evening. Not so satisfied, the ticketprices are way too high for what you get. A very shot performance from a good 1hr and 15min max. No program info and no further info about the playlist. Amateurish organization.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars; I would.

Attended their event (22/12/24) in O’Reilly Theatre Dublin. It seems baffling that Red Events demanded the venue seat an entire auditorium (confirmed by the venue stage manager) when they knew the show wouldn’t be going ahead in advance. Disappointed kids and adults alike.
The height of unprofessionalism to cancel 20 minutes after the doors had closed!

Don’t give Red Events your money or trust.

Red Events contacted me in July 2025 (a timely response?) requiring further information on the threat of my review being deleted if I fail to provide this. I no longer have the reference as this was several months ago.

Here is their statement taking full responsibility for the event being cancelled and apologising to the Theatre posted on their website on 23.12.24. The day after the event.

I can’t link the statement but direct quote;

“We would like to emphasise that the challenges we faced were in no way related to the O’Reilly Theatre or their management. On the contrary, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the theatre management for their exceptional support to both our team and our audience during this challenging situation, as well as for their efforts in managing matters on-site.
We are truly sorry for this outcome and offer our sincerest apologies to you, our dear audience, and to the O’Reilly Theatre.”

This company exploits musicians

This company exploits musicians, don’t support them by buying tickets. I’m a violinist who worked for this company at the end of October and I still haven’t received payment, over a month and a half later. Emails have been ignored and there is no other way to contact them.

the ticket didn't come at first, but then

I was not sent a ticket at first, but was contacted by mail and told there was a technical error. Everything was sent and they also gave me another ticket as a gift. In the end, my girlfriends and I went to see Hayao Miyazaki's Dreams on November 6. It was a total delight! I felt like the heroes of Miyazaki's masterpieces were about to jump out from behind the musicians.
Thank you very much! We will come again!

The Music of Harry Potter

On November 8th, I attended the musical concert The Music of Harry Potter, hosted by Red Events, which was great! 🎶✨.

The orchestra delivered an excellent performance that brought the music from the beloved movie to life.

I was skeptical and panicked after I…

I was skeptical and panicked after I bought tickets to see their show in Cambridge because of the reviews and some people calling it scam. BUT there was no need as it was such a lovely performance and I'm so glad to have went for a good price.

Funny though, when I bought the tickets I panicked because I didn't get the confirmation email with tickets. Thankfully I kept the webpage up (which I always do to make sure the email comes through before I close it) so backtracked my previous page, I saw for myself that I typed my email address wrong.

Again the only contact info they gave was an email so I was worried but refused to lose that money. They were actually fast to respond to my first email and get back to me with the tickets when they checked that I was who I claimed to be with evidence of purchase.

Major issue with ticketing, Red Event did sort the issue with a goodwill

To Redevent's credit, they have done as promised, they have sent us an upgrade and an extra ticket as a goodwill gesture for the ticket issue. They have apologised for the ticket issue and assured me that the new system will iron out the issues.

Finally, 5 days later, I have received the ticket.
2 complaints, 2 emails.
They really need to sort the system.

I received the response below from Red Events. I emailed them straight away, I have had no response 24 hours later.
Still no ticket. They have taken payment.

I bought a ticket for Max Richter on Thursday 7th November for Edinburgh. The money has, of course, been taken but there has been no confirmation email. This ticket is a gift and I have nothing to say it is confirmed. I am gutted.
I wish I'd used the direct website but I followed the Red Event link from an advert.
Never again. Was this a scam?

SCAMMERS!

Fake ? Bought tickets this morning for an event on 16th November . No acknwedgement , no email or text . Nothing. Emailed them . No reply. Avoid them . I’ve raised a dispute bacia my bank to get my money back. They don’t have a chat function or a phone number so there are no immediate means by which you could sort an issue .

Scam

Don't buy tickets through this company. Looks like they duplicate official events on their own website but they're not official vendors of tickets (I found the event I was looking at on the venue's website and the seats that are actually still available are completely different). Their events are a scam and you won't get your tickets

Poor customer service

I don't normally do reviews but am hoping to get a response by doing so with my refund. Booked 3 tickets to attend the Harry Potter concert in Oxford. Turn up to the venue to be told it's rescheduled. Was given an email address to request refund as we couldn't make rescheduled date. Have emailed 4 times and have yet to receive any response. Very poor service. No communication received about it being reschedule before turning up. I would like the refund I was offered by your representative at the venue responsible for telling us it was rescheduled please.
