I have had a terrible experience with Regus and here’s my detailed review -
I became Regus coworking space member since 2025, once a week coworking desk, at a very heafty cost to start with, in the new year they even increased the cost further so I decided to cancel my desk and later sales person provided me different plan, that ensures me low cost to continue so they terminated my plan, and next billing cycle I was onboarded a new plan. Towards the end of Jan,2026 I started struggling to reserve the desk for the facility I was close by, so I again checked with sales person and office desk to realize that they sold all desks and no longer I could get a desk for the facility I was close by. So I decided to terminate my membership and resume when they have space and get a call from them or when they open new facility in the nearby area (which was in progress to start soon already). For the termination sales person assured me it will be in effect next billing cycle month itself and my termination is successful. However, I started getting invoices for the next month as well, I kept fwding every months email to sales person asking for why this is getting charged, however I never really received any responses for next 5 months at all. Later I got their collection email, so I called them up and re-explained the incidence. Upon which they pointed out on policy for new account termination (ideally my account should not have been considered as new here, as same company was rejoining with different plan, but to that none really responded to the tech flaw of account consideration) and big terms and condition document that I had signed on onboarding (which is humanly not possible to read and solely rely
On terms and conditions Sales representative listed and highlighted to me.) after that I followed up with manager by walking in person to office and she took matter to center account manager and she asked me to raise help desk tickets, every day since then for more than 3 weeks now, I have been following up with help desk, collections only to realize I have to pay the balance what so ever with some settlement amount that was offered. The whole matter went like hitting head on a closed wall, following to that last week with frustration I decided to settle the account and no further complications as at the first place, the whole agreement went misunderstood, and then collection agent I had called and explain the situation said, he can further do 50% reduction and call me back or send email with further process. To that I kept waiting for 48 hours and next business day Monday morning I again made a call to Collections department only to realize that communication record or note was not found or in place at all, although every call they mentioned we are on recorded line. So I again re-raised the help ticket and to that some different department handled and said - we cannot handle this and collection department is where you should follow up. Certainly, not sure why even at first place I raised this help ticket at all and hope for the matter to handle congruently when each time different person handled and unsure where to go further or keep pointing at same place saying that person just can’t do anything else. To that, email thread I never really got solution but another call today, seeking more payment unnoticing the communication on 50% reduced settlement rate altogether and not talking about help ticket nor anything at all. Finally, I again called collections number and made the first settlement they had offered, after explaing whole matter to the new agent altogether. This whole experience, made me realize, this was absolutely over promising and under delivering coworking space. If you are happy to rip off your pocket in any circumstances go for it! I had chose this, as this was close to my home and easy for the commute, but considering we being in Silicon Valley and coworking spaces offering much more than just a space like Regus, I had not opted for those due to commute ease.
After the ill experience of handling this matter altogether and frustration on calls and ticket support to realize nothing moves the needle in any direction, I strongly suggest, do opt for coworking spaces that talk and walk the same way.
