For all my life I wanted to know the name of my father. I did a DNA test with Ancestry and got no where so started a search to look for a company who had the experience I clearly lacked. I came across relative connections, from day one they talked me through every step and showed amazing support and care. My husband was apprehensive that they could find out the answers I longed for, as he didn't want me to be disappointed and upset. However, 10 months later we gained the answers I was looking for, my family were so chuffed and amazed. John was there to guide, support and advise every step of the way. When at times I was feellng anxious John arranged for me to speak to Sue and She was also just amazing. I started this Journey wanting to know answers before I was 50. I have just celebrated my 50th birthday knowing who my father is and so much more I could have ever of dreamed of knowing. I can't thank John and relative connections enough. I highly recommend them for DNA searches they are totally brilliant and amazing.

I had to pay the second payment in 4…
I had to pay the second payment in 4 days it had been passed to intermediary to quick then I took 3 weeks I phoned I& they said its been completed so I thought that was it they learnt going to do any thing 4 me they then said they are waiting for my letter so I wrote
my letter & posted to leeds unfortunately it wasn't good news. They said they will leave the door open 4 my son if he changes his mind in the future.

The search was completed quickly due to the amount of information you were able to provide but the intermediary stage is dependant on how quickly the subject of the search responds and how long they ultimatley take to make a decision.

Family Finding with Relative Connections
From the start of my enquiry with Relative Connections, they responded immediately, with clear explanations of the process, time scales, their experience in family finding and their charges for work undertaken in the UK and abroad.
Once I agreed to proceed with them, my family finder contacted me without any delay. From then on she kept me updated throughout the process, shared information and her experienced opinion on relevant issues. She always responded promptly to calls and messages. Communication was excellent; I started the process when I was on a visit to the UK, and telephone calls continued with ease after I returned to my country of residence.
It was a complicated search, however she reassured me that they had undertaken such complicated searches before, and to my pleasant surprise she found the family member I was searching for in just 5 weeks.

they contacted me by post asking for me…
they contacted me by post asking for me to contact them by phone there number is constantly engaged I tryed 26 times over for over 2 hours this company just cant be botherd I must asume they have taken somebodys money sumwhere down the line but if they cant be botherd to folow up why should I?
No the number was dialed corectly a message then tells you the name of your company it goes on to offer 3 choices after selecting any of the 3 options
it then gives the engaged tone before cutting of after 33 secs and it's exactley the same this morning

**UPDATE** 1.00pm 11/06 - Hello, we are happy to confirm that our telephone providers have now been advised by your mobile network three that the issue has now been fixed. Therefore you should now be able to contact us anonymously from your cell phone. Our providers and BT confirmed that the issue was with the three network and therefore a solution was not in our control. We look forward to hearing from you.

**UPDATE** 4.30pm 21/05/2024
Our telephone providers have identified that the issue appears to affect only mobile users on the 3 Network calling anonymously. At the moment they are still working to fix the issue.
Therefore if you are using the 3 network and are able to call in witheld from any number not on this network you should be able to reach us without issue.
At this moment in time I have no update on when the issue will be resolved for those using the 3 Network.
Thank you for your patience whilst our telephone providers work to fix this issue.

I am sorry to hear that you couldnt reach us yesterday and that you have had the same difficulty today.
Thank you for confirming that you do have the correct number. We have reported this to our telephone provider who is currently looking into this as we had not had any unanswered calls at the time of your edit. It appears that, as the calls are not coming through to any department they are not registering on our daily call logs but have been identified on our inbound records register.
It appears that the issue relates specifically to calls being made from witheld/anonymous numbers and that inbound calls (certainly yesterday) from anon numbers experienced a loss of connection when selecting a department.
I am waiting to hear back from our providers with confirmation that the issue is fixed but that should NEVER happen and so if you call and this happens again then the issue is not yet fixed. Therefore I apologise for the inconvenience. If you email and provide a telephone number I will be happy to call you. I assure you that your number will be used only for the purpose of returning your call and will not be shared with anyone.
Alternatively if you are able to call from a number that is not witheld then you should not experience this issue. The only other alternative is to call back in a day or two and hopefully the issue will be fixed. We apologise for any inconvenience and/or distress this may have caused and appreciate you letting us know of this issue. Please know that your call is important to us.
I assure you that we care very much about speaking to people we have written to. We also incude an email address as it isnt always convenient for people to speak to us during our office hours and will always accommodate anyone who takes the time to respond to us.

Difficult query, promptly sorted
I suspect our query was not as easy as many because we had no actual connection to the person we sought so could give forename and surname and that was about that.
