I just got the rails 5 minutes ago, and the unpacking, you guys put a piece of wood for protection, genius. I am quite impressed with the packing. And to top it off, the wood is the same height as the rails, and I am building a hybrid mini rack with wood, metal rails and 3D printed parts. This just made my day. Thank you so much!

I first contacted Reliable Hardware CO. to inquire about custom speaker grills for my speakers.

I had purchased a set of high-end French HiFi speakers, but the original magnetic grills were made out of cloth, leaving the drivers exposed. With kids in the house, I knew the drivers would be damaged if left as is.

When I reached out to Reliable Hardware CO., I honestly didn't know what to expect. My only concern was to protect my speakers' drivers from being damaged, and hoping they would help me with that.

It took a bit of explanation to clearly communicate what I was looking for, but the email exchange with Gene Beinz was easy and pleasant throughout.

About three weeks later, a box with a set of custom-made speaker grills arrived. I was both excited and anxious at the same time. It happens from time to time that one makes a gamble and it pays off. This was one of those times.

What met my eyes when I opened the box was simply a piece of art. The paint, the quality of the steel, the precise curvature... The grills were crafted to perfection; with the precise measurements and exact dimensions.

Since the edges of the grills were sharp, I added a self-adhesive rubber edge trim. The speakers' magnets were not strong enough to hold the grills securely, but an elastic shock cord solved that easily.

Once I placed the metal grills over the original cloth grills, I was stunned. I sat back on my couch and stared at my speakers for a good four minutes, admiring the metamorphosis. The grills from Reliable Hardware CO had transformed my speakers into a chef d'oeuvre!

Not long after, I emailed Gene Beinz— this time to make an order for my subwoofer.
