Joining Remote Rebellion has been one of the best decisions I've made for my career and my life. If you're trying to sift through the noise and actually get seen in the remote job market, this is the place to be. I've met incredible friends, connected with like-minded people who genuinely get it, found my why, and landed my dream role. If you're a remote worker looking for your people, this is it!

I joined Remote Rebellion at a time I felt completely stuck in my career. After 15 years as a data analyst and several toxic full-time roles, I was determined to find a healthier, more flexible remote opportunity. I knew I wanted something in BI/cloud analytics, but I was hitting walls everywhere (the usual story, 50+ LinkedIn applications, barely any responses). Inefficient, frustrating.

Then, after a lot of trial and errors, I came across a LinkedIn article written by Michelle, the founder of Remote Rebellion, about how it is possible to work remotely from Spain, and that was the first moment that first sparked my interest.

So after some thinking I took a leap of faith and joined the programme. The community gave me the spark and clarity I needed, at the best possible time. I made great connections through RR and It helped me refocus my job search. Within a very short time, I received an offer: a fully remote, contract BI role at a modern tech company. The kind of opportunity I had been actively targeting.

So even though I got an offer almost immediately after joining and I couldn’t complete the full program, the community vibe was invaluable. I met inspiring, motivating people, received support and helpful contacts, joined a few events, and that energy gave me the push I needed.

Also the platform itself is fantastic, there’s a huge library of high-quality resources I haven’t even finished exploring yet, but I’m sure I’ll return to it if I find myself remote job searching again in the future, to be prepared for the the next chapter in my career.

I joined Remote Rebellion for the obvious reasons: strategic revisions of my resume/cv, assistance identifying remote job sources, and expanding my network. Not only did they deliver on these services, but I got something I didn't even know I needed - a sense of community.

As a Premium member, I signed up for the service that included cv/cover letter review and alignment, 1:1 coaching calls with remote work experts, access to weekly group coaching calls, and a collection of online learning materials, resources and networking spaces. I high recommend starting with the learning modules in the Remote Job Academy course to understand the RR approach and ground yourself in the job search methodology. While the course and 1:1 coaching sessions were incredibly helpful to my process, I was pleasantly surprised by the value of the community as a whole.

As a senior professional who is pivoting away from a +15 year career in higher education, I am a natural introvert who prefers keeping their head down and their eye on the prize. Yet, it was the community that RR gave me that I have been the most thankful for. Over the course of the 16-week program I didn't just network, I made real connections with people across the globe. I had hard conversations, I listened, I learned - and through it all I was incredibly grateful to be able to learn from such a diverse group of people. In addition, the coaches and leaders at RR are all fantastic - from my entry point with Jan, to my correspondence with Lucia, to my invaluable sessions with Erin and Michelle, the team is highly knowledgeable about trends in a very tough remote job market and is truly invested in their mission and the success of their clients.

While I have not yet secured a fully remote full-time role, I have had valuable learning experiences, multiple interviews, and a renewed sense of confidence in my process. I signed up for Remote Rebellion this Spring in the Collective Program. The course Michelle put together is extremely valuable. I learned so much and it helped reinforce the confidence I needed during my job search. But even more so, I found value in the small group calls with other rebels and Michelle. There I was able to have my resume and LinkedIn reviewed by Michelle and the group. I also built great relationships with rebels to bounce ideas off of for interviews, cover letters and we even sent each other job listings. This program is worth every penny as I learned so much, revamped my resume, built confidence and made new friendships with people who have the same work life balance values and sense of adventure.

Misleading, they do not deliver on what they promise, they do all this just to gather leads.

I met with Michelle a few years back and she was very helpful in helping me transition my full time career to a new industry I was passionate about in the tech space.

We covered everything from CV review and LinkedIn strategy to short-term objectives requiring time investment to get me to my end goal.

Together with the people who are part of the remote job seeking group, they provide a helpful set of online self-learning resources and in-person support guiding you through finding a remote job. You have the option for in-person consultation with Michelle and a review of your job seeking social media profiles, such as LinkedIn, a review of your resume, plus strategy sessions for seeking a remote job. These service depend on the membership choices made when joining. Michelle offers tailored job recommendations, job boards focused on remote jobs, and introductions to potential recruitment agents/employers specializing in your area of employment interest.
