I came across Rest on social media and decided to enquire about solar panels, honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding.
Ash, the sales rep who visited me, was absolutely incredible. He explained everything clearly and in a way that actually made sense, without any pressure at all. What really stood out was how thorough he was, he even showed me the different costings and broke down how they work, which gave me a lot of confidence in the product.
The installation process was smooth and professional, and now that the system is up and running, I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s performing brilliantly.
What really sets Rest apart is their aftercare, whenever I’ve had a question, they’ve been quick to respond and always helpful. It’s reassuring to know they’re just a phone call away.
I’d highly recommend Rest to anyone considering solar panels. Great service, great team, and a fantastic overall experience.

A salesman visited me to provide an estimate and spent 2.5 hours on a Friday evening at my property. I entered into a contract but upon comparing it with another quote from one of the largest solar installation companies I could see that it was not only £2,800 more expensive but it was also a lower specification so I cancelled the contract within the cooling off period. I also thought it was odd that they could install the panels within 2 weeks of entering into the contract whereas competitors quoted 8 weeks.
I was then subjected to an attempt by the sales manager to continue the contract with an offer of a half price supplementary battery that would be required to increase capacity. He conceded that the salesperson had deliberately not included this to keep the cost of the quote down rather than focusing on my requirements.
To make matters worse the contract was cancelled on the 24/3/26 but my emails requesting the return of my £250.00 deposit were ignored until today (14/4/26) when I advised that I would place the matter in dispute with my bank if the refund was not generated today. This has finally been resolved with the customer services team.

Had a really great experience dealing with Andy at REST from start to finish. Such a nice knowledgeable guy, and so helpful. He was, and still is aways there if I need help or advice. The install went perfectly to plan and I couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided. Not only that I’d been looking and researching solar for about 6 months before and the panels and battery were some of the best on the market. There price came in about 20% cheaper than the other quotes I received. So I got a 5 star service for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend REST if you are thinking of solar on your home.

We recently had our solar system installed and overall had a very positive experience. The process from quote to installation was smooth, and the system is performing well.
A special mention to Martin, who was excellent throughout. He provided the initial quote and remained available on WhatsApp whenever needed. I contacted him several times—for help with export setup, resolving a window issue caused by the scaffolding company, and even when my Duracell system disconnected due to a fuse. Each time, he responded promptly and helped get things sorted.
Like many others, I feel the benefits of solar can sometimes be slightly oversold at the beginning, and the real savings depend on how you use the system. However, installing solar is still a worthwhile long-term investment - especially for someone like me who values clean energy and reducing reliance on the grid.
Overall, a good experience with reliable support when it mattered.
