Their furniture that is now in their stores is made in
Vietnam. It has a terrible smell inside of the pieces
that do NOT go away, no matter what.
The dresser: left the drawers open, windows open, put bakng soda inside a container in each of the eight drawers, tested an item of clothing 3 weeks after delivery...transferred immediately to the clothes.
Rug....almost $5,000...when opened (mailed to me),
a different nondescript pattern and faded color...
wrong side table, wrong finish....chair....fabric from China....not stated on website.
EXHAUSTED and disappointed.
RH is Destroying the Environment
I don’t care if they’re giving stuff away their social irresponsibility of killing thousands of trees to spam people with unsolicited and unrequested catalogs is an absolute travesty. Stop sending these useless catalogs and clogging up the mail system. It’s 2024 it’s time to stop destroying the environment.

Great Experience with Victoria (Tampa, FL)
Our project with RH (Tampa, FL) started in September, 2023, and our final order was placed in April, 2024. Over this seven month period, we worked with Victoria (Tampa). WOW - what a pleasant experience working with Victoria: She was pleasant, helpful, thorough, and had a great sense of humor to boot. When we'd call to add and/or remove from our order, Victoria was extremely quick to return calls. Victoria delivered the customer experience one would hope for (but seldom receives). THANK YOU, Victoria, for making the furniture experience both fun and exciting.
Just received delivery of my bedroom…
Just received delivery of my bedroom furniture and it's beautiful!! The actual delivery was seamless and very professional, the furniture is amazing, is solid oak, and those poor delivery guys managed to get a 400 lb triple dresser up the stairs with ease. The furniture is so much better in person as I made the purchase just from looking at it on line. Totally thrilled with my purchase!!
Cheaters and scammers
Cheaters and scammers. They buy cheap products made from china and sell it for an unbelievable mark up through a luxury looking storefront. Please avoid at all costs if you care about your money.
Liars
I ordered an item as a holiday present in November 2023 and they said the item would arrive by 12/28/23. Now on 12/26 they are saying it won't arrive until March 2024. There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION about this and when I called them they said "it must have gone in your spam folder" which is total bullsh#t because I checked my spam and I have nothing from them. Now I am without a gift and RH isn't gonna do anything about it. This is the last time I order anything from them.
Cheap Crap with Bugs
They want to charge high prices but the product is cheap crap. I bought a table with ‘reclaimed’ wood but it was infested with powderpost beetles. I couldn’t understand why noise was crackling from my table till I saw more and more holes appear. A floor standing fan I bought, well the whole ‘cement’ like anchor at the base just crumbled into pieces and came away from the stainless cover. This fan stood in the same place away from heat or sunlight for years. Just crumbled.
They are not heirloom or investment or high quality at all.
RH Interiors' unsustainable catalogue & furniture
RH Interiors' ridiculously heavy 1.3 Kg paper catalogue was dumped by Amazon (whom we avoid for ethical reasons) on everyone's doorstep in our street. I guess that monopolist has everyone's address in the UK by now. Addressed to The Homeowner, it probably technically didn't breach ICO rules. Nonetheless, it was unsolicited and unwanted. We're trying to reduce consumption.
Its address label says, “If undeliverable print return label.” Where is said label? There is no URL, only 4 QR codes, one leading to a massage parlour in Vancouver, the others to sign up to some weird Internet services in Hong Kong and elsewhere – all rather off-putting: Were these just incredibly gauche, overweight scam-baits?
As most were in our recycling bins the next day, this was a shocking waste of paper, on top of the excess fuel (electric vehicles also consume more fuel the heavier the load) needed to deliver so many overweight tomes to so many homes.
Internet research finds the furniture to be made in China (mostly), India, Indonesia, and the USA - so all of it will be unsustainably shipped to the UK, if anyone here is suckered into buying it, adding to the carbon footprint.
Apart from those faux-pas on the increasingly sustainability-conscious Brits, it is an underwhelming catalogue printed in shades of beige (a contemptuous synonym for 'boring' to the young here), so comes across as colourlessly monotonous. Most of the furniture looks far too big for the average British home - perhaps someone didn't do their homework? The styles are tediously 'moderne' and slick, not the quirky or shabby-chic look that most Brits prefer now. Indeed, more and more of us are buying secondhand - much better for the planet.
Absolutely infuriating greenwashing
Absolutely infuriating greenwashing - RH have littered my neighbourhood with their catalogue and 3 weeks after they said they'll arrange a courier to collect the piles of catalogues that are still at the entrance to my block - sent to every single one of the 47 flats, all unsolicited - we are still waiting. RH customer service were quick to say their paper is 'sustainable' but don't seem to care that they are incredibly wasteful - most of these unsolicited catalogues have ended up in the bin or at best in recycling. They also haven't been able to tell me where they got my name to post to me. Crap company with crappy practice. I wouldn't buy anything from them out of principle as they obviously have no real concern for the environment or people's data.
They Treat Customers Right!
The customer service department is insanely good here. They really, truly care about their customers. I had a few special cases where orders didn't pan out, and they fully refunded everything, and were so nice about it.
Don't believe the negative reviews, these folks are amazing. Other providers are not nearly this good to their customers.
The stuff is beautiful as well... of course, but everyone knows that already.
Unsolicited delivery of RH Interior’s catalogue
Last Sunday I received a thick catalogue from this company that I also did not order and several neighbours have similarly since told me they’ve received unwanted catalogues via Amazon that they hadn’t requested either. Is this some sort of scam/ identity fraud?

I have never ordered or had anything to do with RH Interiors but they sent me a very thick catalogue with my name and address on via Amazon. So they have obtained my personal details without my consent from a 3rd party . I complained to Amazon. Then one week later I have 8 more of their catalogues dumped on my garden wall for 8 of my neighbours’ addresses but with no names . I feel targeted by RH Interiors, it seems like a very dodgy company. Do not touch . I would appreciate RH interiors contact me to reassure me that they are genuine and have removed my personal details from their database immediately and never use them again .
THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUIT RH IS THE BUILDING AND DISPLAYS
The only good things about RH are its beautiful building and store design and displays. After that it leaves a lot to be desired. First there is the phoney RH Club that they force you to join in order to get there real prices so if you want to buy anything you have to join or pay even more ridicules price then there real ones. Getting anyone to wait on you is no easy chore the entire staff acts as though they have much more important things to do then hjelp a customer. When you finally get help they rarely can answer a question with out referring to their IPAD. Even then they usually have to check with the office to get an answer. Once you find something you want they can't even write it up they must get someone again from the office to do that. If you want more info on a product. I spent 15 years in the furniture indusgtry and owned a chain of furniture stores. This is the poorest excuse for a furniture business I've ever been involved with.
Even with all this we found a rug we wanted and had a printed sheet from the store with all the info so we could do it on the phone. The person that finally answered said the price on the paper was incorrect and the real price was $1000 more $4200 for an 8 X 10' area rug. The final nail in f
the coffin was that we could not pick it up at the store or for that matter anywhere we had to pay $279 more for delivery. This would easily fit in a SUV. UNLESS YOU ENJOYED BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AVOID RESTORATION HARDWARE
Worth the Investment
Restoration Hardware furniture is an investment. It is built to last. You pay for what you get. Their free design service is excellent. We have never been disappointed with any piece of furniture purchased from them.
Delays, delays and more delays
Ordered a sofa in March and they tell me delivery is 8 weeks (in May). And may I get an email saying delivery will be in June. Today I got an email saying delivery will be in July. They make you wait two months just to tell you it will be delayed another two months. I guess it’s my fault that I didn’t read the thousands of negative reviews on this company before placing an order with them.

Super friendly staff in our local store. I like to buy some key items at RH, and complement with decor from other (more affordable) brands. Prices are very high, that’s the only downside for me.
Customer service is excellent as are their products
We have ordered a lot of furniture over the past 6 months from both Restoration Hardware. They have been fantastic in terms of delivery, responsiveness, and professionalism. They value their customers and They even allowed us to return a piece of furniture that was not returnable. There was nothing wrong with the furniture. We had just made an error in the sizing. They couldn't have been nicer.
As of August 1 No More Comenity or RH Credit Cards
As of August 1, 2022 I just learned that Restoration Hardware has discontinued its RH Credit Card program. Restoration Hardware is switching over to TD BANK.
That did not stop Comenity Bank billing me almost $300 for charges I never incurred! The last charges for goods at Restoration Hardware were in 2020! I called customer service of Comenity and Restoration Hardware who were kind enough to remove these spurious charges. CAVEAT EMPTOR: check your statements!! I received a bill dated 8/4/2022 seeking payment by 8/24/2022. When I did not pay as requested, they put me in arrears for charges I never incurred!!!! Fraud!! As a lawyer, to this community of consumers, you should all be aware of this shameful activity.

I have never seen customer service like this before! I bought sheets that were very expensive and when I got them home I washed them with a tide pod. The tide pod never fully dissolved and it ruined my sheets. I called Tide they were no help! So I called RH and they offered to send me a brand new set of sheets! I told him it wasn’t their fault but they said that’s OK will take care of it!!!
