Unsatisfactory. I hired the service to write multiple pieces, costing over $500. Please see their promises on their website.

The writer made some date mistakes on the finals, which I corrected, but I otherwise liked her take. But crickets. 2 months of crickets. A recruiter's feedback: my resume was not ATS friendly. I ran the ResumeZest products through numerous online scanners. All scores were average or below, most being below. Also revealed: AI had been used heavily in the writing (also a big no-no). So, NOT ATS friendly, and a professional writing service is using AI in its deliverables. I rewrote/fixed the problems myself, retested, and got much better results.

I reached out to ResumeZest's customer service to explain the problem and demand a refund. They only provide for one "do-over" if a customer doesn't get an interview in 60 days, and--had there been no other issues but the lack of interview--I would have happily taken that option. Writing can be subjective and coming at it from a different angle may have worked. My discovery, however, exposed that ResumeZest's products are not OBJECTIVELY meeting their guarantee and this has completely shattered my trust in them. The info doesn't matter if it's not ATS friendly. As well, any WRITING service using AI enough to be caught by scanners is nothing less than unethical. Why would I put myself through that again with them?

I went back and forth with their customer service who did nothing but make excuses. They refuse to give a refund and ignore the severity of the situation. Taking advantage of individuals in the vulnerable state of having to job hunt is unconscionable. Protecting themselves against subjective disagreements on the writing is one thing. But falling so short, objectively, and not making it right... Unethical to say the least.

Resume Zest is not worth the money and they do not hold to their 60-day interview guarantee. I have been applying for roles for 90+days and have had one resume rewrite. In that time and with the rewrite I have not had one call for an interview. My recommendation would be to save the money and use an AI platform to write your resume.

Everything was first class! They were prompt and available in terms of addressing my requests. Shelly was wonderful - personable and professional. She quickly provided me with very professional looking documents that i could either use immediately as is or I could easily change and tailor for other specific opportunities.

Very helpful. The end result is so much better than anything I could've done. I think it would be quicker to get through the review process if there was an additional phone call after the 1st proof was provided. But my feedback was taken and understood for the most part. The LinkedIn document was very much worth it as well. I wasn't sure what to expect and was nervous. What I received included exact instruction and cut/paste ready content for my profile.
