One of the worst experiences ever with Revv.
My friend booked a Santro 2020 model from Revv for a business trip to Kerala. Right from the start, the vehicle was in terrible condition — dirty, poorly maintained, and not even cleaned properly from the outside. Still, he adjusted and continued the journey.
After crossing Mysore and reaching near Billikere (around 20 km away), the tyre got punctured around 8:30 PM. There was absolutely no roadside assistance available. When he tried contacting customer support, they simply said their working hours ended at 7 PM.
Thankfully, I managed to help him find a nearby puncture shop somehow.
That wasn’t the end of it. Local mechanics checked the car and clearly warned that the vehicle had a belt issue and was not suitable for a long-distance drive. For safety reasons, I advised him to return to Bangalore immediately.
He reached Bangalore the next morning and has been continuously trying to contact customer support and the ground team since then. No proper assistance, no clear guidance, and no accountability.
To replace the faulty vehicle, they demanded an additional ₹11,000 for a Swift Dzire upgrade. When he requested them to repair the existing car, they casually said it would take “a maximum of one day.”
On top of that:
- He had already spent extra money to fill the fuel tank.
- Some tyre bolts were loose and had to be replaced at his own expense.
- No compensation or refund was offered for any of this.
- Even after requesting cancellation due to safety concerns, they refused to provide a full refund.
This is extremely unprofessional and honestly feels like a scam. A rental company providing unsafe vehicles and then refusing proper support is unacceptable.
Please avoid using Revv if you value your safety, time, and money.
If you’re thinking about booking a car…
If you’re thinking about booking a car from Revv, do yourself a favor and don’t. This was easily one of the most frustrating and poorly handled service experiences I’ve ever had.
I booked a Brezza Automatic for a long weekend, paying nearly ₹17,000 just for the rental. What I got in return was a complete breakdown of professionalism, quality, and accountability.
To begin with, the car was delivered 45 minutes late. No proactive update, no apology worth mentioning, just a delayed start to what was supposed to be a planned trip.
But that was just the beginning.
The moment I started driving, the car kept blasting a continuous seat belt warning. I was the only person in the car, and my seat belt was properly fastened. I even plugged in the front passenger belt just to rule things out. The warning wouldn’t stop.
What followed was an absolute circus.
I spent 30 minutes with the delivery executive and support, only to be told I need to fasten all three rear seat belts. That’s absurd on its own, but it gets worse.
The rear seat belt connectors were not even accessible
One was buried deep inside due to poorly fitted seat covers
Another connector was completely missing
The middle seat belt? Removed entirely because of the seat cover
I had to literally dig through the seat, open the boot, and try pulling belts from the back like some kind of mechanic, not a customer who paid premium rental charges.
After another 40 minutes with support, I somehow managed to connect whatever was physically possible. And guess what? The warning still didn’t stop. Because the car itself was in a broken, unfit condition.
At this point, any responsible company would apologize and immediately replace the vehicle.
Not Revv.
Instead, I was told to drive to their warehouse and get it fixed myself. Imagine paying ₹17,000 to become their unpaid service technician.
After nearly 1 hour of arguing, they finally agreed to pick up the car and process a refund. Pickup was scheduled at 12:30 PM.
It’s now 9:45 PM, and:
No one has come to pick up the car
The pickup agent’s number is switched off
Zero updates, zero ownership, zero professionalism
This isn’t just poor service. This is outright negligence.
Revv managed to ruin:
My time
My plans
My peace of mind
All while charging a premium price for a completely unusable vehicle.
If you value your weekend, your sanity, and your money, stay far away from Revv. There are far better alternatives out there that won’t leave you stranded dealing with defective cars and indifferent support.
This experience wasn’t just bad. It was shockingly incompetent from start to finish.

Despite explicitly confirming with their support team beforehand that I would be using a USA driver's license, they completely flipped the script once I landed. They refused to honor my valid documents and demanded an Indian license, creating an incredibly hostile and aggressive environment.
I spent four miserable hours at the airport being harassed by their staff, only to walk away with no car and a stolen deposit. They are unprofessional, deceptive, and predatory toward international travelers. Do not trust them with your money or your time.

Probably the worst car rental company I've dealt with, such a scam they still owe me my security deposit, not refunded yet even after a booking cancellation.
I had a very frustrating and alarming…
I had a very frustrating and alarming experience with this car rental provider.
I rented a car (Brezza) for around 15 days and paid approximately ₹60,000–70,000 in full at the time. Everything seemed settled, and there was no mention of any pending dues.
However, after almost 2 weeks of completing the trip and payment, I suddenly received a message claiming that I still have an outstanding due of around ₹10,000 and was asked to pay immediately. The message also mentioned potential legal action if I didn’t clear it.
When I tried to question this, instead of resolving the issue transparently, I felt pressured and uncomfortable with the way it was handled.
This kind of practice feels highly unprofessional and misleading. If all dues were not finalized at the time of closure, it should have been clearly communicated upfront—not weeks later with threats.
I strongly recommend others to be very cautious. Always keep proper records of payments and written confirmations, and double-check everything before closing your booking.
Please stay aware and avoid such stressful experiences.

Absolutely terrible and unsafe experience with Revv.
The vehicle we were given suddenly braked on its own at high speed on a national highway—without any warning or driver input, despite not even having any automatic braking system. This was a serious safety failure that could have caused a major accident.
We had family in the car, and the situation was extremely frightening. We were forced to drive back at 60–70 km/h, constantly worried about our safety.
Because of this, we lost 3 days of our holiday, multiple plans were cancelled, and the entire trip was disrupted.
What’s worse is the lack of accountability—refund delays, no clear answers, and still no proper technical explanation of what went wrong.
This is not just poor service, this is negligence. Completely unacceptable and highly unsafe.
Worst car rental company ever, please if your thinking to rent it her, I would strongly recommend not to.

Revv cheats
I returned the car with half a litre less petrol than when I received it and I was charged 708/- for it. Ridiculous. Be very careful when you rent from revv. Or don't book from them in the first place.

Absolutely unacceptable workmanship. I went in for a simple ambient lighting installation and left with a car full of problems that were not there before.
Immediately after collecting the car, the interior touch controls stopped working. I had to return so they could fix their own mistake. Once I arrived home, I discovered the heated passenger seat was no longer functioning — yet another issue caused during their work.
The most serious problem occurred during the drive from Luton to Bristol, when an AdBlue countdown warning appeared. Mercedes later confirmed that a fuse related to the AdBlue system had been removed and not refitted during the installation. Driving the vehicle in this condition caused damage to the engine system.
Although Mercedes helped resolve the issue, I was left with a large repair bill — a cost that would never have existed if this garage had carried out their work properly and performed basic checks before returning the car.
This level of carelessness is unacceptable. A cosmetic upgrade resulted in multiple system failures, major stress, wasted time, and significant financial loss. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting this business with their vehicle.

I would have given 0 star if option available. Worst ever service. They will inform you at the last moment that car is not available there is some technical issue, engine not working. Then they will keep bluffing and no action. Then u will say ok cancel because you want your money back. Then they will say you proceed with the cancellation
Beware it’s a dangerous company
Best part is they ask for feedback after the end of the trip and you will not be allowed to rate anything less than 4 star, the system itself is designed in that manner , so the company knows about their shitty service and drunk executives and rowdy behaviour especially when you have a family with you. So stay away from these guys.

Absolutely horrible company . First of all their customer care is not 24x7 and they still do not clearly disclose it . The IVR takes you to a point while it just keeps repeating “all our customer executives are busy “ . It’s been more than 48 hours since they took the car away in the middle of subscription stating that the car needs service. My plans have gone haywire as the car is not in sight anywhere after 48 hours and no one is responding.

When I called the contact centre they advised car is not available and it was booked with rental. Poor experience as now my travel plan is in limbo. Can’t trust the service. Most horrible experience ever in more then a decade of self drive use. Booked a Scorpio N AT 2024 which was changed to a Maruti Brezza then changed to a Manual Innova Crysta on complaining was offered a Maruti Suzuki Baleno as replacement ;)) then after a explicit argument the same was changed back to a Brezza AT and finally landed up with a 1.6 lacs + KM done beat up Ciaz. NEVER IN MY LIFETIME WILL USE REVV EVER AGAIN. GUYS DONT EVER BOOK WITH THESE GUYS. THEY ARE CHEATS, UNPROFFESIONAL AND HAVE NO CLUE OF A CUSTOMERS SUFFERING. ON THE BOOKED DATE AND TIME WAS STRANDED ON THE STREET WITH FAMILY AND LUGGAGE WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO CONTINUE WITH THE EXTREMELY BEAT UP CIAZ. BALD TYRES, RICKETY SUSPENSION, COMPLETLY DENTED ALL OVER AND NO ALIGNMENT ALTOGETHER. TOTALLY UNSAFE CAR. Hyundai Santro AMT was booked for a 6 month subscription, faulty and overpriced vehicle delivered, AMT motion sensor not working, battery weak and shock absorber damaged, in spite of multiple escalations and requests for a proper replacement vehicle, faulty vehicles delivered . REVV has scant regard for customer expectation and safety.
