Richard Lang & Son Ltd is an independent British giftware wholesaler, established in 1949 and based in Derby. We supply independent gift shops, garden centres, department stores, visitor attractions and other retailers throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. Our in-house creative team designs distinctive giftware, home accessories, seasonal decorations and greeting cards from our Derby studio. Our extensive wholesale collection includes decorative ornaments, mugs, jugs, vases, candles, candle holders, plush gifts, cushions, plaques, tabletop accessories and much more. Seasonal design is an important part of our business, with coordinated collections developed for spring, summer, autumn, Halloween and Christmas. We regularly introduce new ranges to help retailers refresh their displays, create attractive product stories and give their customers something new to discover. Many of our products are exclusive to Richard Lang & Son, combining original design, commercial appeal and accessible price points. Our greeting cards are designed in Derby and printed in the UK, while our wider giftware collections are developed with carefully selected manufacturing partners. Richard Lang & Son is a trade-only supplier. Product prices are available to approved trade customers after signing into their online account. Customers can order through our website, our sales team, their local sales representative or at the major UK trade shows we attend throughout the year. We are proud of our long history, friendly service and continued investment in original product development, stock availability, warehouse technology and reliable nationwide delivery.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service! Sent 4 emails and not had any responses. Would not reccomend.

Just to respond to your response. I have already emailed and been ignored. As for my reviews I give honest reviews! I think you need to go to spec savers or admit your a liar! I think your overall score speaks for itself.

This company is unprofessional and extremely frustrating.

This company is unprofessional and extremely frustrating to communicate with. Taylor Vickers from customer services verges on rude and she appears very disinterested. Some of her email replies have taken up to 10 days. Then, after this wait, frustratingly, Taylor has asked me to resubmit photos that I had sent in over a fortnight beforehand, because her colleague had “not forwarded them on to me”.

Has my problem been resolved? No, not so far, I am now going to email the owner.
But I’m not holding my breath.

Really difficult company to deal with

Richard Lang has great products but they are so difficult to deal with.
Even if something is in stock it can take well over a week/couple of weeks between making the payment to actually getting the products and I always have to chase constantly.
Most other wholesalers have next day delivery available and it seems ridiculous that you have to wait so long for products from RL.
Currently waiting on a payment link I asked for on Monday (today is Thursday) just to even make the payment for items in stock.

Thank you for acknowledging the quality of our products, and please accept our apologies for the delays and difficulty you experienced when ordering. You should not have needed to chase repeatedly for a payment link or an update.

Since your review, we have made significant improvements to our ordering, warehouse and delivery processes. In-stock orders can now be dispatched much more quickly, with next-working-day delivery available on qualifying orders placed before 1pm.

We appreciate your feedback and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

Shocking Company to deal with

Shocking Company to deal with. There is no service from this company. They make promises they don't keep. The website says something is in stock but it's not and then you have to chase and chase to initially be told it will be here next week, and then on following up, they've no idea if/when it will be here. Lovely products but just not worth persevering with them. They have no interest in providing a service.
