Firstly, I'm disappointed at how Riley blocks users' ability to leave real reviews on their website. I've tried for quite a while and you can't unless they manually request it from you.

We had the linen duvet cover for less than 3 years, with infrequent, very gentle washing. A few months ago, it completely tore in half from the top seam in the middle of the night - from being so thin and poorly constructed. Quality linen doesn't do this when properly cared for. I reached out to Riley and they basically shrugged; didn't offer a replacement or a reasoning - just 10% code so I could buy a new one (?). Every blanket or duvet cover I've ever owned (cheaper ones!) are still in great condition after 15+ years of care and use.

In summary, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this product. I think if you advertise your business as 'luxury bedding' you should handle your products and customer service as such.

Terrible experience with Riley! Their operation, their customer service are way below American standards. They lure clientele with sales items they don’t have in stock, instead, they send the wrong items. I ordered a fitted full size cotton shit in mist color. Instead, I received two pillow cases in pink linen. No labels, no receipt - just a plastic bag with the wrong item. I had no time to deal with returns, etc, so I just ordered the same sheet again. And received the wrong item again! When I contacted Riley (you can’t reach them by phone, only email), they told me to photograph the package, the item, so they could issue the return label ( just like in a third world country). They also told me that the sheet I had ordered TWICE by then, was not in stock( even though it still shows available on their website). In any case, the whole purpose of buying online is about convenience. This company and their products are not worthy of your time and money. I have lost $160 , but I am so disgusted by my communication with them so I am just willing to move on. Ehile advising other potential customers to shop elsewhere.

The Riley spa towel is absorbent and beautiful.

I recently bought a king/California duvet cover. If you have a king size insert, do not buy. It will be way too big. They called it a hybrid which means the dimensions are actually for a California king. I’m apparently at fault because I failed to study the dimensions. I should not have assumed my king down insert would fit. It was a final sale so they would not do anything for me.

Website easy to use, great color selections of the products I ordered, good discount on sale.

I ordered a set of spa towels for $120 and they simply are not very absorbent. I’ve been trying to contact customer service ALL DAY to initiate a Return. I even filled out the return form with my order #, and NO RESPONSE. They told me 6hours ago that I would hear back from them in, wait for it, 14 minutes!

I’ve not had an experience like this before, and I do love their sheets.

Superior quality of cotton waffle weave toweling! Once washed it softens and is incredibly absorbent.

Am puzzled that there were not wash cloths but rather something called a "finger tip towel". Still a nice item but rather useless.

The customer service relating to questions and others was great.

I recently purchased bedding and towels from Riley Home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The quality of the materials is exceptional! – the sheets are incredibly soft and durable, providing a luxurious feel. The towels are equally impressive, with excellent absorbency and a plush texture that feels great against the skin

I agree with other one-star review. These are the worst sheets ever. They make my rags look good. They are full of wrinkles, not soft and fit very poorly. Customer service at the company was hardly what I call customer service. They do not stand by their products. I don't understand how this company remains in business, other than by scamming and misleading their customers. I believe that all the 5 star reviews on their website are bogus. Terrible company with an awful product.

Last year I purchased a set of queen sheets advertised as soft and wrinkle free and promoted by the New York Times Wirecutter reviews as their top pick for quality sheets. They cost $160 but I wanted to splurge for great sheets as a present to my husband. They were seriously the worst sheets I’ve ever purchased in my life. I followed the care instructions but no matter what I did the wrinkles were intense and would not come out unless I ironed the sheets (who has time for that?) and even then they looked like crap. I ended up throwing them away. Riley solicited a review from me and I wrote a polite but honest review that they never published. The reviews on their site for these terrible sheets were ALL five stars. It’s simply not possible that this is true. I noticed they’re no longer listed on Wirecutter. Huh, wonder why? Very dishonest, rip-off company.

Deceptive product representations. Their sheet “sets” contain only a single sheet. A checkbox for an optional flat sheet leads you to think it’s for a flat bottom sheet instead of a fitted one, since fitted sheets don’t fit some thicker mattresses. But no -- if you don’t check the box for an “optional” flat sheet at additional cost, you get no upper sheet in your “sheet set.” A con to make you pay extra for the second sheet.
