I am not and never was or will be a hiker, biker, runner, extreme sportsman or even a world traveler. I'm a 76-year-old non-athlete that sticks around my tiny town 90 percent of the time. I have rescue dogs and rescue birds, a total of 9 critters, that depend entirely on me for their existence. I always worried about the what-ifs - what if I veer off of the wet, windy coastal roads, what if a logging truck loses a load and I'm a pancake. Even what if the local Yeti decides to make me disappear! Are my dogs with me? Will anyone know I have birds at home? What if the dogs are home and not in the car?? What if the dogs are in the car - what vet do they go to. I saw that Road ID not only came with a very visible plate for the bracelet but you can link an ID Profile as well and give all the information you can imagine. I immediately created my profile with a bunch of instructions on who to call regarding the dogs and birds, if they're with me, if they're not, if my incapacity becomes permanent or long-term, anything anyone could possibly need to know so no matter what happens to me, my animals are cared for. Having all this information so easily available to first responders has given me huge peace of mind knowing there will be no guesswork about anything. And toss in the fact if I'm just alone in an accident, my friends and relatives will be notified immediately. This was just the perfect answer to my situation all around. I have since ordered a couple more bracelets in different colors and the dog paw and a red medical alert add-on. Everything I can do to make sure that medical personnel or even just a Good Samaritan will know to look at my wrist and then know what to do. This is just THE perfect solution for my needs! Thank you for making this available even to couch potatoes!

Road ID is a great way to have your emergency information accessible, but always tells people where you keep your information, whether it's on your wrist or around your neck. This time I went with a Fixx ID, but like a good old soldier, I used some 550 paracord so the chain doesn't rip out my grey and beautiful chest hairs.

I've been searching for a medical ID bracelet, and tried many materials and fits. Everything irritates my wrist. Finally, the RoadiD is a great, comfortable and durable option. It has a big enough faceplate to hold all my vital info, and I can wear it 24/7. I'm confident it will last a long time. I'm impressed with the customer service. Very well done.

I ordered a medical alert for running shoes. Poor quality for the price I paid. I still have one of their shoe pockets and I thought perhaps I could secure it to my running shoes but does not work.

Numerous months ago I contacted them if they would consider bringing back the shoe pocket which was excellent and the metals were better quality. The shoe pocket was ideal for 4 keys or dollar bill and many runners asked where I got the shoe pocket. Unfortunately, Road ID no longer makes them and that is a shame especially when I see many lost keys on the ground when running in a park. I asked Road ID perhaps they should do a survey for those who would like to see the return of the shoe pocket. No doubt that is not going to happen.

I ordered a lifetime warantee dog ID several years ago. Well the tag needs to be replaced, and they are not interested in honoring the lifetime warantee, and decided to send me a credit for the dog ID, I ordered, and encouraged me to order a new one from them at almost 3 x the cost. I am very upset that they think shirking their lifetime warantee in this way is appropriate. I will not be ordering from them if this is the way they have decided to do business. Sell you one thing, then bait and switch...

I just received my 4th order from Road ID. I wish that they sold every thing because their products are perfect. They communicate with you from the time of your purchase to delivery which is fast! And they have a sense of humor. Thank you, Road ID!

I love the Road ID product and have had one since 2009. I currently own 3 and tried to buy another one and found out how abysmal their customer service is. So bad i'll never order from them again. I tried to order my 4th and had a question. I used their online chat and it said i would get an answer in 4 minutes. After 30 minutes i gave up. I continued my order at which time they tried to reach into my pocket for some sort of charitable contribution. I find that very offensive. Seem today's marketers have found this new method to harass people for money. They all do it. Whenever i encounter it i, leave a business and NEVER return. I wrote Road ID a note about my experience under their "contact us" link. Since then all i've gotten is incessant solicitations but never a response. I'll never return to Road ID or tell my friends about the product until they get their act straight. Personal friendly service gets return customers. Not impersonal online responses and harassment.

I love the attention to detail the whole team at RoadID brings to their work. The product is great, comfortable and reassuring, and the personal notes they send with it are epic. And when you email their service team, it's a human responding, taking pride and building a relationship. I tell everyone about this company and product! You can't go wrong.

I ordered a Road ID bracelet in December for a family member who does ultra-marathons. The product was nice--stamped metal, nickel-colored with a sturdy bracelet. Just ordered one for myself four m months later and what arrived was a cheap plastic ID that was about 40 percent smaller and not even stamped. It was just printed and it was so small you could barely read it. One swipe on a rough surface and the lettering was gone.

Not sure what others are mad about. You get exactly what you ordered. Not amazon fast but quick enough. I camp alot. Nice to have in the event of something terrible happening.

--- For what should be nothing more than a simple bracelet, it is difficult to set up and it falls apart very easily. Is very flimsy and loosens up so easily. These are substandard characteristics for something that is intended to be a source of information in the event of an emergency.
--- We have decided that this product is not reliable as a bracelet. However, since the information on the clamps are very useful, this item will be carried in the patient's pants pocket, assuming that, in an emergency situation, rescue personnel will check all of the subjects pockets when looking for information on the subject.

I started buying the product three years ago. When I first bought it. I bought Rose Gould class for two different bracelets, and I bought three bracelet colors. And then I brought four additional Id bracelets for other pieces of jewelry i’ve been working with the vendor because the Rose Gold clasp The color is wearing off. One of them won’t open her clothes anymore. With just your finger. You have to use a little screwdriver to open it to then squeeze the buttons to release it. The red medical alert ID tags that go on either side. the under side is flaking enough like rust on metal I don’t believe they see them properly to be able to deal with the acidity on a person skin. i’ve been a Member for three years. But I think at this point it’s time to move on.

The opening in the clasp is barely bigger than the thickness of the band. This makes it difficult to put on, especially if you are bigger than average - although I suspect average and even smaller people have a hard time with this.

Expensive for what it is as well.

I've had several Road-ID bands over the last 10 or so years, I recently bought a plate for my Apple Watch band and it arrived super fast and high quality, I also invested in their "ID Protection" for a few € and I'm glad I did, I've changed address and being able to get my ID updated by just paying shipping was fantastic !!! I also messed up my order and with the fast responses of Randy The Robot & Bethany G they sorted me out in less than an hour, I can't understand why some people have had bad experiences, for me it's been 10/10 for 10 years !

I placed an order and included my current email address. Somehow they used my old, disabled email address for the order. Now to see the order and shipping status a code is required to log in. Guess where the code is being sent? My old disabled email. Hopefully it will arrive, like I always say, time will tell.

This company should have better reviews than it has. Its probably one of the better companies I have seen in a long time, very customer friendly and delivered with humor. They took care of my problem immediately, in fact after I wrote to them they contacted me to make sure there would be a solution. It wasn't a major problem, I just didn't like the clasp. A new product is being sent to me. I just paid the shipping fee.

Order process was simple but it goes down hill from there. The delivery period was in my opinion awfull, 19 days from order. The product does what it says but I feel it is very overpriced for what it is. Customer care is non-existent, I sent 2 emails while waiting for delivery to ask for an up date and I still have not had a response.
