⚠️ Downside: £18 delivery charge felt excessive for such a lightweight foam product
I purchased a pack of 10 SITEWORX white foam expansion joint strips. The product itself was exactly as described and very good value for money. Delivery time was about average.
The only downside was the delivery charge — £18 felt excessive given how lightweight the foam is. I needed the item for a job so went ahead regardless, but more reasonable or free delivery would have made this a 5/5 experience.

Disappointing customer service.
We had a failed pallet delivery to our office, but the issue appears to have come from a miscommunication rather than any deliberate refusal to accept the goods. Our building reception said the driver suggested coming back another time and did not make clear that this would trigger a redelivery charge.
Despite that, we were charged £80 + VAT and the company took a completely rigid position throughout. The most frustrating part was not just the charge itself, but their refusal to acknowledge any mistake or show any goodwill.
We eventually paid because we needed the order delivered, but the overall experience left a very poor impression.

We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied, but we’d like to clarify the circumstances for transparency.
This was a palletised delivery requiring an authorised person on site to accept the goods. The driver attended as scheduled, however the delivery could not be completed as no one from your company was available to receive it (as confirmed in your correspondence with reception). As the pallet was not handed over, this was recorded as a failed delivery by the haulage provider.
Prior to dispatch, we provided clear written communication outlining the delivery requirements, including the need for someone to be available to accept the goods, and that failed deliveries would result in re-delivery charges. A delivery window was also issued on the day to allow appropriate arrangements to be made.
While we note your comments regarding the driver, the delivery outcome and associated charges are determined by the haulage provider based on whether the goods are successfully handed over.
We’re pleased we were able to complete the delivery successfully following this.
