Give this site a wide birth , I ordered sandals which were not cheap , and received badly made ones that smell like strong glue. I genuinely thought I was purchasing from a company in London NOT ASIA .
The refund process is a joke so best to take whatever refund is offered and never use again .
Please check the companies refund policy before you order ,if it says to return to their warehouse in Asia don’t buy you’ll end up with rubbish .

How I wished that I had checked this Company out on Trustpilot before placing my order. Rose & Hartley London are con men - swindlers who defraud people by providing shotty, cheap merchandise and passing it off as quality garments.

I ordered a Michael Riviera Striped Shirt priced at £29.95 on 28 June 2026. It arrived in a small black plastic bag on 10 July 2026. There was no accompanying paperwork. The return address on the bag was a warehouse in an industrial site in Feltham. The quality and fit of the shirt was just awful. I mean terrible – not even worth £2 from a charity jumble sale. I immediately decided to claim a refund and return the shirt. The Rose & Hartley London (RHL) website requests that to return the item you need to email them and send a photo, your name and address plus order number whereupon they will give details of the return address. As others have reported – the company is based in China. The RHL confirmation email gives 3 options. Clearly, they are banking on most people just accepting that they have been conned and settle for the 10% refund as an opt out of a full price refund given that you have to return it to China.

Rose & Hartley London have no connection with London other than their trading name. They are deceitful swindlers who defrauds people by gaining their trust and exploiting their confidence by pretending to be a company based in London. I would urge any potential customer to stay well clear of this company. Be aware also that the photo of the same male model with the exact shirt features on several other sites. My guess is that they are all run by the same shell company operating out of China.

I purchased a Riviera shirt from this company, it was awful, I do not know what the material it was made from as no labels inside. Advertised reduced from £79.95 to £29.95, wasn’t even worth £10. Their returns policy makes it difficult to return the item to China and if agreed would take up to 35 day’s to get your money back. Novira London is operated by the same people from China offering the same shoddy clothes and terrible service, avoid at all costs.

Wish I could score them a zero. Complete rubbish. The very inferior shirt turned up nothing like the advert photo. Tried to send it back but they insist I have to pay the return post to Asia. I’ve pointed of that under the consumer act 2015, that they can’t right what they like in there terms and conditions, but they won’t budge. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

Not a polished UK retailer as their website would lead you to believe. Cheap rubbish shipped direct from China and do't bother trying to get a refund - they'll only offer 10%.

BEWARE of this Chinese company, operating in and shipping from China. Rose & Rose or Rose & Hartley is not a British company and is not located in the UK. My order took three weeks to arrive and was VERY disappointing as I wanted the clothes for a holiday last month. Nothing looks like the photos, fabric was the very cheapest quality polyester. I’ve never seen such shoddy goods before and emailed immediately asking for a refund and return instructions. Two weeks later the company finally gave me their Chinese address and I sent the whole lot back to them and am now waiting for £205, RETURN COST WAS MINE. Company refused to cover return costs,I was forced to pay £37 to send the junk back to them. Do not give them your custom!

You would think this company was UK based with a name like Rose Hartley London - but they are not. Took 9 days to arrive and was very poor quality when it did. Sizing all wrong too. I am a very standard UK 14 but this was far too big on top - literally falling off and far too tight on waist and hips. Fabric very thin and cheap and workmanship not good. When I then read the small print re returns I have to pay to return to Asia! I emailed them two days ago as you have to write to them for a returns address and not heard back from them. I have just chased again but they are clearly making it difficult so I will contact my bank regarding the transaction. Just a dreadful company/product

Sandals ordered but didn't fit - too wide. Tried to sort out a return - as stated on their website 30 day money back guarantee which isn't completely true.

Within 30 days of order you can return to their AISA warehouse (which isn't mentioned until the small print) which will cost between £15-£35, exchange for the postage cost of £9.95 or keep the item and get a 10% refund!

Well I'm not happy and will not be recommending this company!

Ordered what looked like an attractive blue dress in size 12.. after over 3 weeks a dress arrived…it was about a size 18 but had no labels on it….very cheap shiny material and badly made. Very disappointing to say the least….i wish I had read these reviews before ordering.

The item I ordered looks nothing like the picture of the item they advertised. It’s cheap quality and took 3 weeks to arrive although they call themselves Rose Hartley London. Cheap and nasty quality item from China. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Do not use this company. Unfortunately I read its returns policy after I placed the order. Any returns have to be sent to their warehouse address in ASIA at the customer's expense. This costs a fortune to send something back. If the shoes don't fit I will give them to a charity shop. This company is a disgrace. I have contacted my bank and been told that if the goods are not as advertised the bank may be able to refund my payment. The bank will then pursue the cost from the company.

My experience allies with other reviewers. Purchased dress - shapeless, poor quality material and too big. Not as advertised. The offered replacement/returns policy unacceptable. No alternative - charity shop! Will never get taken in by this company again

Ordered 2 mens polo shirts. The 3 XL size was much to small ( and he is normally a 2XL) and so we wanted a replacement or refund. The advertise 30 day refunds. BUT if you want a refund you pay for shipping back to Asia plus any customs fees which they state could be £38. They offered a different size but 3XL was the largest. They offered for us to order other items, keep the original and pay £10 for replacements. When we pushed for a refund they would only offer 10% of the purchase price and to keep the goods.

Ordered 2 pairs of shorts and they are the worst quality clothing product I have ever seen….
Makes me wonder about where they are “made” and the age of people “making” them - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, you will only be disappointed….

Please don’t waste your money
The sandals eventually arrived - very poor quality
Looked at returning them but I would have to ‘jump through hoops’ and then pay for postage
Took the unworn sandals to a charity shop this morning

I would strongly advise people to avoid Rose and Hartley London. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The branding gives the impression of a London-based fashion retailer, but that was not the experience I had as a customer. The clothing I received was very poor quality, with cheap materials and workmanship that did not justify the price. It looked nothing like the standard I expected from the website.

The worst part was the returns process. Rather than dealing with my refund fairly and promptly, I felt I was given obstacles and unnecessary resistance when trying to return the item. It should not be so difficult for a customer to obtain a refund for goods that are not satisfactory.

In the end, I had to involve my bank to secure a full refund. That alone says everything about the level of customer service and trustworthiness I experienced.

I would not purchase from this company again, and I would caution other customers to think very carefully before ordering.

My husband bought two shirts from Rose & Hartley, and although he had to wait a while for delivery of them, they were really nice. I was quite surprised actually given some of the poor reviews on here. Credit where credit's due.

Do not buy from this company known as Rose and Hartley London one of many with London in the name but are based in Singapore. Bought Agnes Sandals. Paid nearly £30 quality more in line with £5 . Ordered a dress in large normally 18-20 in this country but their large size is equivalent to size 12.Requested a return label but was offered a larger size for free but would have to pay for shipping cost of £10.95. Was offered a partial 10% refund of the £24.95 which I accepted as would cost £15-£30 to return. Did refund the £2.95 to my account. Never again will I order anything advertised on Facebook.

I brought a pair of sandals from Rose Hartley London. It looks like a legit company based in the UK from appearances but its cheap CR*P that gets sent from China/Asia. it says 5-7 days shipping for standard shipping which actually took 14 days. What I received was VERY poor quality cost me almost as much in return postage as it cost to buy. It has to be returned to a warehouse in Asia. They did offered me a pittance of a reduction in price to keep the item. I wish I'd checked the reviews of company before buying and I definitely wouldn't have even contemplated buying these at any price if I'd see them before purchasing. What I purchased is a VERY poor knock off sandals from a well know German Brand. There was glue on the edges, long stitching that would fail very quickly, cheap materials with hard edges so they would rub your feet. If you have very slim feet you would be ok in these but if you have standard width feet these won't fit as the straps are too short. If you move the straps over along the Velcro fastening so they fit you then have a white Velcro showing which is on the dark blue sandals is so obvious. The one thing I will take away from this experience is looks are deceptive and to do my research on everything I buy in the future. This company is peddling cheap sh*t at normal high street prices DON'T BE FOOLED!
