Open ticket for 3-months. No support, acknowledgement, or resolution to simple problem with cloning/staging/creating development environments.
No support for 3 months. Ignoring key information and sending you around in circles. No engagement in the problem, and showing a total lack of initiative in resolving problems. The support staff do not care about their customers' issues, no matter how simple they might be to solve. They just send you in circles, and offer nothing to aid you in the simplest of tasks (i.e. using their built in staging site tool pollutes your development and live environments, as it does not overwrite the database. It simply merges it, which causes all sorts of tables to be bled into the main site).
Also when cloning WordPress Multisite using their tools, nothing works. The subdirectories or subsites URLs are all broken, and they lead back to the main domain. This happens every time. The support take no ownership over this issue, and do nothing to help you - even though the issue is something that could easily be fixed or rectified if they engaged with, and activated their brains to think about the issue. Cloning and staging are huge parts of development. And if they cannot provide this service, cannot provide customer support, and cannot do anything else, then how will they survive as a company?
Needs serious improvement. If they can resolve these issues with Staging and Cloning, and take these issues seriously, then I would upgrade this review to a 4 or 5-star rating to represent their level of service and customer care.

What good : simply the idea that you will be able to install and uninstall web applications!!! And honestly, their nginx configuration is fast and powerful...but nothing more than that.
And this would me questioned the value behind their prices !!!

I've been with RunCloud for about 3 years and I was surprised to see the negative nature of these reviews. I've found them to be great, the pricing is fair and the support is quick when I needed it. The software is being updated regularly and since I joined they have added lots of new features and speed improvements for my Wordpress websites. The only thing I'd say is that since joining they've added a new paid tier and increased the prices slightly, but I guess that's normal for a growing business.
10 days with no answer or solution from support.
I'm a paid customer from their top tier, and they have kept my ticket with no solution pending for 10 days.

I've been with runcloud for a while, stay away
I've been with runcloud for a while. I think about 18 months. At first, they were really helpful but I think the good stuff left. After about 6 months the cracks started happening and I wish I got out before signing up for a year.
You'll find with Runcloud they will offer their own articles without even understanding the problem. It's almost like each agent has a limited amount of time to reply or a reply rate imposed on them regardless if it solves the issue.
Another problem with Runcloud is that they seem to google the answer and offer the first result. While not a problem so long as it resolves the issue. Guess what it never.
Also, they will advise that on many occasions that the issue requires a WordPress developer. As soon as you see these words or other examples as I've described, get out.
While you can get up and running fairly quickly, you can also with other server panel providers. Also based on the level of service when something goes wrong, they are overpriced.
They will ask for login details for your website, don't. As they have stated they are not WordPress experts.

I love the look, especially the new one.
RunCloud is great for a lot of reasons. It's fast, easy to use, has good support, and just very reliable.
I originally had a hard time finding the right fit until I found RunCloud, services like Cloudways, Serverpilot, ploi, etc. just didn't cut it.

Nice, fast user interface. You get choice of three configs to power your blog viz hybrid (Nginx+Apache), native Nginx and custom Nginx. You get to create your server at most cloud companies. See useful metrics in the dashboard. Switch on off firewall of your choice. Switch PHP versions. See logs. Inbuilt file manager. Start stop various services. Setup their wonderful server level RunCache.

Does what it says and more
Does what it says and more. There are a few limitations here and there (as with anything), but nothing significant. We've been using it for 6months. Support is awesome too - competent and respond very quickly.
Moved the existing backup download feature under the paywall
I joined them 5-6 months ago, hearing good things about them. I signed up for their Pro plan paying $15 a month. It was all good, support and features both. They delivered what they let me test during trials.
Things changed when they grew and started adding new features.
They introduced a new backup pro plan with more advanced features, for which they are charging for it $1/web app/month.
I had no problem, it takes effort to develop new features and they are rightful in charging for any new feature.
The problem arose when I came to know that they had removed the existing feature from the current basic backup plan and added it to its pro plan. And to my surprise, the feature they made paid is essential and necessary for everyone. It's downloading the file and database that you have taken backup. Really?
You can make backups, you can restore it for free, but you can not download it?? Why? And it was earlier present and then you moved it to pro plan just to make sure people pay you?
When I joined earlier, it was one of the major features for which I subscribed.
I don't think it's ethical to remove the existing feature and add it to the paywall.
I don't recommend them, highly unprofessional approach.
Highly recommended for the novice user
Highly recommended for the novice user. Had a few problems, asked for support using a ticket, the ticket was answered and resolved within the hour.
Waste of Time
This could be great if their support wasn't fake and incompetent, seems to be a real problem in the hosting industry, lots of promises little delivery. They use American names but on writing style and inability to keep up with a conversation it's obvious several people are responding under the same name and english is not their first language. So that is questionable right there in their ability to support you. But oh it get's better. These guys are in the hosting business but guess who can't figure out how to do a no down time local host migration. They don't have the capability of local hosting SSL. Also they have resolve issues because I tried four browsers and only icognito mode worked. I spent two pretty much solid days in front of a computer trying to get my site migrated. Why? It takes between a half hour and an hour, to get a simple response. Those responses, they don't read what you wrote, still trying to resolve an issue already resolved, and I literally, not joking or exaggerating repeated myself SIX times and they still didn't have an answer. But Oh yes they wanted those admin credentials so badly but didn't lift a single finger to make good on their advertised "free migration". I think what they want is access to your site. After how clueless they were about local host I felt it best they not touch my migration and deleted the server. In the end it was just faster for me to do everything my script and just keep it on Vultr directly. How sad it that, it's faster to do it on your own than deal with their support. WASTE OF TIME. Keep in mind the CEO sent me an email all apologies, and then ghosted...save your time, just do it yourself.
