RVTrader.com has the right format for RV sales. It’s the go-to nationwide site when you’re thinking about buying an RV.

The platform is decent, but the steep annual price increases have gotten out of control with no consumer value to find and RV. Late-2025 into early-2026 has been the worst yet, and the value simply isn’t justified for buyers or sellers. over 40% Although RV Trader claims these increases reflect investment in their platform, it appears the primary benefit is increased profit for the company. Listings are unreliable—some are visible, others get buried—and Google visibility is inconsistent if at all. Dealers are forced to pay more to compete with others doing the same, and buyers mainly see ads from whoever pays the most and only if you go to RV trader, not the best-value listings.

This pattern of increases for dealers and consumers reflects a serious lack of transparency that damages consumer trust. Removing access to cancellation features, pushing steep cost increases, and rolling all of this out during the holidays — when support from RV Trader appears minimal at best — comes across as predatory. When I addressed this with an RV Trader representative, I was told via email that they would process a “30-day cancellation,” which means we would still be charged after requesting immediate cancellation. Wow. Beware.

I have 20 messages and bought the top tier option to get my RV sold but all 20 messages are from bots, other companies pretending to be consumers but convincing me to join a competitors site because they sell RVs in several days and scammers. I wished I would have saved my $400+. FB Marketplace is more productive and FREE!!

I've had my RV online with RVTrader an extended period of time. Lots of email (messaging) issues back and forth, scammers/other sale companies, and horrible customer service. They have limited hours with little to no consideration to people on other time zones. No Saturday and Sundays either. Ridiculous prices if you're not going to be available to help (and even at that). I had an issue that went to supervisors. It took about 6 weeks to finally hear back after continued VM, email, and text pleas for a response so my ad could go back online. When the supervisor (starts with N) called back, she was condescending, missed the point, kept saying "can I talk now?" inappropriately, and even laughed when I asked for a discount for the continued lack of appropriate customer service and absence of help for extended period of time and loss of valued advertising time. Just absolutely unprofessional. It seems they know they are the largest RV marketer so they can treat customers however they want and limited hours of availability doesn't matter b/c they feel they can get away with it. I hope to never have to do business with them again.

RV Trader app won’t even load on iOS. Even after deleting and adding again.

If I could give a negative 5, I would.

Their photo uploader is completely unworkable and they know it. I called multiple times requesting full refund of $350 without any response until I spoke with Nicki McCloud who said multiple times, "We do not do refunds!" Unbelievable! Run away NOW!

I have sent several messages over the past few days though RVTrader to Annie's RV in Vancouver Washington and others without response. I spoke to the Owner of Annie's RV today and she said they did not receive any of the 5 message I sent them through RVTrader.

Absolute complete waste of money!
The website does not work properly and all you'll get is scam artists trying to get you to give them money or buy some inspection report. I got more leads from my free ad on Facebook Marketplace! I got zero leads. I mean absolutely no leads from RV trader. Don't waste your money.

Website is full of adds and difficult to negotiate. We only had 1 legitimate inquiry compared to about 40 on Facebook Marketplace. Definitely not worth paying for this service when you can use Facebook Marketplace for free. We had several scammer inquiries. The only good thing I can say is that their customer service was helpful when I had an issue with a scammer.

After 3 months the only messages we received were either just a name or name and phone number from area codes many states away. We sent simple response messages but no reply. It is quite possible that people are trying to connect but their messages are not getting through. I read that this is a common issue with RVT. The time and money spent was a waste. RVT is not as good a company as it used to be.

RV Trader used to be better. Now all you see is little tiny pictures, it doesn’t rotate on IOS devices, and zooming in the pics are too low quality. Try RV universe, there App is awesome. If not improved RV Trader will plummet. Sad.

Why when you post and pay so much to advertise your RV are the pictures so small now with so many advertisements? It use to be a good place to advertise your RV now when your looking to buy one the Pics are so small and every other one is someone's else ad

Should be 0 stars. Buyer beware - NO REFUNDS, NO PRO-RATED REFUNDS - you're locked in. Can't take you ad down, only can delete it! Terrible contract with them. They do not care. I had to take my ad down after 1 month on a year contract. Could only delete it. Can't dispute it on my CC - no refunds and prorated $ from RV - so I paid a whole year for 1 month!!!??? Who does that to their customers?

Never saves my rvs. Complete amateur website designers.

They charge a lot and since listing a month ago you still can’t search an RV on your phone. At least I can’t using my iPhone. This is 2025! Unreal!

Spent over $200 on an add. Messaging does not work. They might message you one out of ten times that you got a message. App does not work well. If you want to call them expect a long wait. The chat also does not work well. I got many more messages on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist. Absolutely not worth the money!!

Poor customer service, too many “tire kickers” to respond to. Very expensive listing price that doesn’t generate solid leads to legitimate buyers

Only bots, scams, and dealers posing as private sellers. Maybe once trustworthy, this is now clearly a boondoggle.

I listed my campker on sevral sites. I had hardly any inquiries from RV Trader. I actually had at least 40 inquires on Facebook marketplace and only a few from RV Tarder. I woud never use them again. Even with a $200 to listt it! That was a waste of money. FB was free! I woud steer clear of this site for listings.

I would never post on RVtrader.com again. I sold my 2020 Rpod 172 on Craigslist.com RVtrader was expensive and the ONLY contacts I received were from scammers trying to steal my information by asking me to purchase a vehicle history report through various sketchy links they would send me. It was a terrible experience and so much more costly. With Craigslist I received contacts from real people who were local and not scammers. I sold it in 10 days to someone who contacted me through Craigslist.
