Robyn was great throughout the whole transaction and kept me updated at all times. Things didn't always go to plan with the sale but she was constantly liaising with the buyer to ensure that things were always moving forward.

Really good service from the Move Manager, Geraldine - who kept us informed throughout the final stages. Only reason for 3 stars rather than 4 is that the initial valuation appeared quite high (given the small number of interested parties) and was probably a little over the top. JS

From start to finish the team at Ryder and Dutton in Ashton-Under-Lyne went above and beyond in the service provided selling out home. A special mention though for Robyn Roberts, who provided us with exemplary service from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, from regular updates to the voice of calm when we met with the inevitable hiccups along the way.

The only recommendation I would make is to use your own solicitors.

We submitted an asking price offer on a house through Ryder & Dutton, and it was officially accepted in writing. However, a few days later, we received a call informing us that new offers had come in and that we would now need to pay at least £20,000 more to secure the property.

This was incredibly disappointing. We had already instructed them - days earlier - to proceed with the solicitors they recommended and even paid a deposit for this. Despite this, they failed to take any action. When we submitted our paperwork and questioned why the property was still being advertised, we were immediately called and told it was being sold to someone else.

An awful experience that has completely tainted the search for our first home.

Edit: They did take the time to reach out after to apologise/offer support with finding another property, which was appreciated. In hindsight, this situation was likely mostly down to the seller - however still advertising the property online/entertaining 2 other offers just felt wrong to us - especially given that we paid a deposit with their recommended solicitor straight away on the day.

Firstly R&D seem to be the only people to use on my lane in Ashton. Their signs appear like dominoes from the view at the bridge and downwards, all with sold steadily being nailed on one after the other. Kirsten responded well, she gave a special personal touch as to what was actually happening and installed confidence in me. Robyn also for last minute details and info needed on completion day to help my buyer settle in. They really are the premier agents to use, ask for Kirsten though as she is honest as the day is long and never once fails to tell you what is going on every step of the way. I was in the Congo working so I needed that extra bit of service, needing to rely on her more heavily than a normal client. Her first words were, 'its lovely this flat, we will sell this in minutes', and guess what - she did!
