Recently Booked Umrah package with shahmeer from safa Travel, great customer service everything was great.The entire service process was completely stress-free. Shahmeer took care of all the details including flights hotels and transport from airport to Makkah and Madinah.

I cannot speak highly enough of brother Rao Aqib at Safa travels. He assisted me with genuine care and thoughtfulness with my Umrah preparation. I have no doubt he will assist others in doing the same. I have only 100% respect for Rao Aqib and will pray for him during my Umrah trip insha'Allah.

Overall, I had a good experience booking my Umrah through Safa Travels and would give them 4 out of 5 stars.

I originally booked with Brother Shazad, who unfortunately became unwell partway through the process. Brother Abdullah then took over my booking, and I have to give him a lot of credit for how he handled everything from that point onwards. He was very easy to get hold of, responded quickly whenever I had questions, and ultimately made sure everything came together. I would definitely recommend dealing with Abdullah specifically.

There were a few issues along the way. The overall price increased several times, which was frustrating as one of the main reasons we initially chose Safa Travels was because they were cheaper than some of the alternatives. That said, there were a number of circumstances outside their control at the time, including Wizz Air cancelling flights and the wider disruption in the Middle East. Shazad becoming unwell unexpectedly also seemed to create some uncertainty around what had already been booked and resulted in some changes being made.

There were also a few occasions where I had to clarify hotel dates and flight dates more than once, and sometimes chase for confirmation, which could have been smoother.

However, I do think Safa Travels were honest about what they were providing, and most importantly, the Umrah trip itself worked out well in the end. Considering the unusual circumstances surrounding the booking, I think some of the problems were understandable.

Overall, I would recommend Safa Travels, and a special thank you to Brother Abdullah for picking things up midway through and making sure we had a good experience in the end.

Booked my Umrah with Safa travels with the help of brother Rao Aqib, was very skeptical about a few things due to how things kept changing but overall had the best experience with my boys. Will recommend their services, however services users need to be clear with their own needs. Recommended their services to another friend. Jazakullahi to Rao Aqib for helping plan a well meaningful visit to the holy land.

Pathetic service. My fault that i showed my vlunerability that i am going first time with my son. They make full use of it. Charged alot with 1st and 2nd class hotel. Far away from makkah need to change 2 buses to get to harram. Please if you are going 1st time with child stay away from them. Was told travel included. When paid full was told its only from jeddah to makkah hotel. Everything is online do it urself and stay away from being robbed by these people.

I spoke with Adeem he was great made the whole experience easy i was a bit paranoid as it was my first time booking with Safa travels so had many questions and some I repeated many times but Adeem was great and patient with me and even while I was on hoilday he was always available and supported me.

Excellent experience with Safa Travels. Shahmeer our agent was very helpful. Our package was fully explained and broken down. Our hotels in Makkah and Medina were both very nice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would use Safa Travels again in the future and would recommend to others.

I have waited until everything was resolved before writing this review because I wanted to be fair.

Unfortunately, my experience with Safa Travel was disappointing from the planning stage until three weeks after returning home.

Before we travelled, I repeatedly asked for a clear breakdown of the costs but never received a transparent explanation despite asking several times.

The biggest issue occurred when we arrived at Swissotel Al Maqam in Makkah. The hotel could not locate our reservation correctly, leaving me desperately trying to find accommodation for my family.

The hotel had no quad rooms available, so we had no choice but to pay SAR 4,600 ourselves for a suite. No family should arrive in the Holy City wondering where they are going to sleep.

I personally spent countless hours at the hotel reception, on WhatsApp, emails and international phone calls from Saudi Arabia trying to resolve a booking failure that was completely outside of my control. Instead of spending those precious hours performing Umrah and making dua, I was left emotionally drained and, at times, in tears whilst pleading for help.

Throughout the process, Safa Travel repeatedly blamed their B2B vendor. As a customer, I found this unacceptable because I paid Safa Travel, not the B2B vendor. I expected Safa Travel to take ownership of the situation.

Communication was poor. I was given conflicting information by different members of staff and had to constantly chase updates. On one occasion, after explaining that I was considering legal action if my money was not returned, the member of staff ended the telephone call.

Although my hotel payment was eventually reimbursed, this only happened around three weeks after I returned to the UK, despite repeated assurances that it would be processed “soon.” During this time, I incurred additional international call charges chasing my own money.

I also discovered another booking discrepancy in Madinah, which caused further unnecessary stress.

I would like to thank Brother Aqib, who genuinely tried to assist and communicate with me throughout the process.

However, despite the booking failures, financial pressure, emotional distress and the significant disruption to our Umrah, no compensation was ever offered.

Umrah is a once-in-a-lifetime journey for many families. Instead of remembering our time in Makkah and Madinah for worship and peace, we will always remember the stress, uncertainty and constant chasing.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Safa Travel.
