And don’t be fooled by negative reviews. The people who left them, they do not understand how this business works. So kind and patient team that cares about their customers and always ready to help! Yes! Anyone can be a victim of fraud by Salvagebid inc.I have been a customer with ********************** for almost a decade. I have purchased all types of vehicles through this company.A fraudulent vehicle was sold to me on 7/17/2025. stock # ********. This vehicle was labeled Stationary. However the seller of the vehicle deliberately and literally dumped an engine and transmission inside this fraudulent cars engine bay. Neither are mounted to the vehicles frame and there is 1 single bolt holding the engine and transmission together inside the engine bay.This is a clear example of fraud.Salvagebid refuses to take any responsibility and accountability for this fraud. It is now confirmed by Salvagebid customer service that any customer can be a victim of this type of fraud and Salvagedbid will not hold anyone accountable. Salvagebid has decided that it is okay for its customers to be victims of fraud.Sellers now know that they can use Salvagebid to sell fraudulent vehicles.This type of fraud goes above the Terms and conditions and the description of Stationary. You could be buying a 2025 model vehicle labeled Stationary and it could literally have a random engine and transmission dumped in the engine bay and Salvagedbid will facilitate the sell of such fraudulent vehicles.I have a loss of $2,200 and there is a seller out there that is happy that Salvagebid is now facilitating the sale of fraudulent vehicles.There are no protections from Fraud and any customer can be taken advantage of with the help of Salvagebid inc.

Salvagebid is facilitating Fraud and Scams and Salvagedbid just decided that hiding behind their terms and conditions is enough to avoid taking any type of responsibility. Salvagebid to this day has not mentioned to me or BBB on what steps they are taking to protect their customers from scams such as this type of fraud. Salvagedbid has decided that while Fraud has been brought to their attention, their customer of over 10 years is just unlucky. Now there is a seller entity that knows they can get away with this type of Fraud because Salvagedbid will do absolutely nothing to protect their customer. As a customer I am at a loss of $2200. ********************** did not offer ANY type of resolution. I gave Salvagebid many options. 1. Take the car back. 2. Ill drop off the car to the nearest aution site which is less than 15 mins from my house. 3. Resell the car. 4. Give me a full refund. Salvagebid could have taken steps to remediate this Fraud such as full or partial refund or taking the car back. Salvagebid is literally saying that its unfortunate that I am a victim of fraud through their website and that they are doing absolutely nothing about. Therefore, anyone can be a victim of fraud if they do business with Salvagebid and at the end of the day Salvagebid **** **** behind the terms and conditions. Why not take the money away from the seller? Why not look into who the seller is and block him from future fraud? Salvagebid is clearly choosing to side with the scammer. Salvagebid will continue to facilitate fraud through their website. I can provide hours and hours of footage from when this car was dropped off, when it was inspected and it being sitting in the driveway since it was dropped off. If Salvagebid does not provide a positive resolution then I will make it my weekly routine to post my experience to all available venues of how Salvagebid facilitates fraud through their website as to warn any and all customers. This is a very unfortunate situation, but Salvagebid and the person comitting Fraud are the only winners here. The customer, whether its a customer of 10 years or future customers can be victims of fraud and there is nothing they can do about it and Salvagedbid will just call the situation unlucky.

Website works like half the time, had an item that I wanted to bid on live but it wouldn’t let me because they “couldn’t find the vehicle”. Absolute waste of money.

Sarah did a good job helping me get through this buying process. The problems we had were not salvage bids fault. She was upbeat and positive. I’m definitely going to buy from her again. I’m just waiting for the right vehicle.thanks again for your help

I have used them many times over the years and they have bad predatory policy they will screw you by accepting offers on your behalf forcing you to pay more and then hide behind the policy. You accept the policy conditions or you lose access to the account. Not once have they ever apologized or made it right. I highly recommend you find another broker.

They were so helpful, as a first time bidder I had a lot of questions. Karl was very patient and explained the process in detail. I will definitely keep using their service. Robert in Sarasota.

I was worried about purchasing a car from a website, but I felt more at ease with it after doing some research. I did not take this lightly. I read other people's reviews and made sure to check on these further as well. I like that when I call an actual person picks up the line to answer my questions. I recently won my first bid and I am excited to help a friend find a car next.

I always turn off auto renewal after I make purchases. Salvage bids website either is messed up to where it automatically changes your selection back to auto renew even if you turned it off (I turned it off multiple times to test this only to return to see it turned back on each time) or they have it set to do it on purpose. Which one it is I do not know but they refuse to refund me for something that was their fault, not mine. I got charged $349 for a renewal that I did NOT consent to. Not to mention it was $199 when I actually signed up the 1st time. They want to claim that I tried to bid on something AFTER the fact...who cares? Doesn't change the fact that I did not give them permission to charge me. If Netflix is charging u against your will....might as well use it right? So that's what I did. I tried to bid on one car & didn't win & that is another reason they don't want to refund me. But either way. Their policy says their memberships are "NON REFUNDABLE" no matter what anyways.

This is by far the worst agency we ever worked with.
EVERY time, there is a problem. Either with the car or with the paperwork.
This time, we are now waiting FOUR weeks for the title. This is unacceptable.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with SalvageBid.com, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare from start to finish. If you're considering using this platform for purchasing a salvage car, I urge you to think again and proceed with extreme caution.

First and foremost, their deposit system is a complete sham. Like many others, I was required to pay a hefty deposit of £900 just to participate in their auctions. However, when it came time to get my deposit back, I was shocked to find that I only received £800 back. When I inquired about the missing £100, I was fed some excuse about "bank fees" and other miscellaneous charges. Are you kidding me? It's absolutely ludicrous to expect customers to foot the bill for their own banking fees, especially when it results in such a significant deduction from their deposit.

Furthermore, their customer service is abysmal. When I tried to reach out for clarification on the matter, I was met with nothing but vague responses and blatant disregard for my concerns. It's clear that SalvageBid.com has no regard for the well-being of its customers and is only interested in squeezing every last penny out of them.

In conclusion, do yourself a favor and steer clear of SalvageBid.com. The risk simply isn't worth it. There are plenty of other reputable car auction websites out there that won't try to scam you out of your hard-earned money. Save yourself the headache and avoid SalvageBid.com like the plague. You'll thank me later.
