Very poor 4 star
They should check when selling a 4 star hotel that the customer gets 4 star service. Our hotel was old and Shabby and the small plastic travel kettle we got for paying a premium for a superior room was a joke, no tea,coffee or milk. Disgusting old flat worn out pillows and a leak in the bathroom. If I had paid 2 star prices I would not be complaining, the only good thing was the pool, and the cleaning lady La Funtana hotel in Santa Theresa sardinia is no 4 star hotel !! Sardinia is beautiful but the hotel was over priced and even the bar wasn't open, not even for a bottle of water while sunbathing. You have to go across the main road to a supermarket to buy a drink. What a joke and 2 weeks with just breakfast will cost you over 3000 pounds The staff were not very helpful, especially when I complained about the lack of staff, and no one to open the bar. The hotel was full at the end of September but only a skeleton staff so don't go at the end of September, in fact if we had stayed at a 3 star down the road we could have saved 1200 pounds, been closer to amenities and been able to buy a drink at the bar. Do your homework, don't get ripped off.
