Discovered scenarios.uk via a search for cashflow modelling software (which I was doing on a irregular basis), after getting AI to create my own complex cashflow modeller for pre-and post retirement modelling (with tax, NI and real/nominal values baked in) and other requirements in excel. Scenarios.uk does all that I was asking of my modeller and a tonne more. Visually very nice UI, very configurable, takes time to understand. Having identified some issues, their service was very prompt and friendly at changing/updating content to correct some issues (or refine something). It is in early live so I expect further enhancements. Also some of the narrative can be a bit complex and not sure the AI wrapper is always the best but overall it is filling a gap in the financial adviser market as all these software platforms are usually restricted to the FA business itself, and clients might only get access when engaging with, and paying for, an adviser. Scenarios.uk basically democratises the financial modeller. About time. Pay tiers are reasonable - you can create different plans, and it applies UK tax rules so you can be sure your net income for your cash flow is within the correct margins. Obviously it is NOT an financial adviser - it is a tool to create fiscal scenarios for your financial planning for your future. In my opinion everyone should be using this product.

I’ve been using Scenarios for the last few weeks to stress test the planning I had already been doing on a spreadsheet.

I needn’t have bothered with the spreadsheet! This does everything I need and more and it’s given me the confidence I needed to make lasting decisions.

I also emailed support with a query and got a very quick, helpful response! (Unusual these days)

Having spent days creating a pension forecast in Excel, I came across Scenarios. It took 10 minutes to add my numbers in, and 5 minutes to "play around" with them in Scenarios, and by then I had far more confidence in the numbers than my homemade spreadsheet gave me. I just wish I had known about Scenarios sooner!

Now that I have everything in Scenarios, it is easy to experiment with different drawdown structures and run "what if" scenarios simply by adjusting one of the several intuitive sliders.

The graphs makes it all quick and easy to understand.

I am very pleased that I paid the modest fee for a year to make full use of the software, and I expect that even when I do retire I will keep subscribing to let Scenarios help ensure I make the right decisions year-by-year for withdrawals.
