Despite never having visited their site, they contacted me via email. I explained this, and wanted to know where they got my information from. I was then ignored. They were quick to chat when they thought they could make money from me, but silent when asked how they got my details.

We recently had 34 solar panels , a battery and invertor installed to our business. Craig who initiated the sale was excellent from start to finish. We found Craig to be professional throughout and his knowledge of the system that was to be installed was outstanding. Craig was more than patient with our numerous questions, phone calls, text messages and emails! Nothing was ever an issue. Craig was quick to respond at all times even at weekends and evenings. At no time did we ever feel pressured into a sale, quite the opposite, Craig reiterated that we should take our time to ensure we were happy with everything before signing up as we had been very sceptical with prior personal previous situations.
The install was quickly arranged and the workmen who applied the scaffolding, the installers and the electrician were all very professional and done a great job. At no time did their workmanship interfere with the running of our business. They were very tidy and kept all noise levels to a minimum. which was of the utmost importance to us.
We would highly recommend Craig to anyone who is thinking of having solar panels installed. Great service all round.

On actual fitting day the teams arrived bright and early actually on time stated which got them lots of browny points in the form of breakfast roll 😀
Every step of fitting including electrical steps explained so I understood. My hubby watched on telling me how neat the job was, he was very impressed !

The lads were efficient, our job wasn't small and the entire thing was complete for 2 pm. The biys cleaned up after as if they had never been there.

Just had an installation done by these guys and the entire experience from first contact to installation has been excellent.
I had 16 panels, invertor, batteries, ev charger and hot water heater installed all done in one day. The guys on site were friendly and polite, they did a fantastic job. Only we downside was there was a a but of a mess left after the scaffold came down the we had to clean up however, when we informed them of this 50 quid was added to our octopus account.
All in all highly recommend these guys. 10 out of 10

Was put in touch with Craig at Scottish energy efficiency by a neighbour who had recently had an installation. With the current costs of energy and trying to reduce outgoings in the long run also I spoke to Craig about what I wanted where he happily and easily provided me with options that were available.

A visit to my home made it much more

The install guys were brand new also, again a pre install visit confirming all was in order as I had concerns about where cabling was going to be run ended up with a very neat and tidy job.

The installers were having an issue with a battery being visible on the app and remained at my property until Well after they were due to finish in order to ensure all was running well. Even more so that they had noticed the readings appeared off and returned to install a WiFi booster which resolved the matter.

I have been happy with my system especially during the bright sunny weather and would happily recommend anyone to Craig.

Great advice and help from Craig Learmouth and the team at Scottish Energy Efficiency helped us decide on 16 solar panels and 2 10Kw batteries supplied and installed without any problems. And supported with advice during and after installation even when Craig was on holiday he still answered our call and advised us with advice.

Everyone wants to save on energy bills and so do I. I went randomly on Google and Facebook ads to submit interest and got at least three quotes.

Made my choice for some obvious reasons, the price was relatively better coupled with an interest free loan. With the support Craig gave, I was able to understand the numbers with regards to sizing for solar panels, batteries and inverters.

After all agreed, with clear guidance and support from the team-
Day 1 - scaffolding team installed scaffolds.
Day 2 - electrical team completed 12 solar panels, 9.6 Hensuu batteries and inverter all installed and commissioned.
Day 3 - scaffolding team back again to demob.
Very satisfied customer.

2 weeks after mine, I recommended my friend who spoke with Craig and now has 16 solar panels and 15kw batteries installed.

We recently had sixteen solar panels and three 5kW batteries installed. My family and I wanted to have the installation completed as quickly as possible to make the most of this year’s sunshine.
I received a quote from Scottish Energy Effeciency, and after the team answered my questions and fully, explained the benefits, costs and expected performance, I found their proposal to be competitive with the other quotes I had received.
However, I ultimately awarded them the contract based on their excellent references, which consistently highlighted the team’s professionalism, efficiency and commitment to delivering a high-quality installation.
After confirming that I wished to proceed, I had a consultation with the operations team the following week. They carefully discussed the best installation process and the optimal positioning of the panels. The installation and technical aspects were explained in detail, which made my family and me feel very comfortable and confident in the proposed approach.
The next day, the scaffolding team arrived on site as promised. They were professional, hardworking and completed all preparations safely and efficiently. The following day, the installation team arrived and took care to protect both the downstairs and upstairs carpets with plastic coverings before starting work.
Upon arrival, the solar installation team suggested a small design improvement that would provide a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing appearance on the roof. This proved to be an excellent recommendation, and we were very pleased with the result. They also installed bird-proof netting around the base of the panels to prevent birds from nesting underneath.
At the same time, the electrical team carried out the cabling work, routing cables neatly under the floorboards, through the roof space, and into the garage. The work was completed with minimal disruption and no mess. The inverter and batteries were installed neatly within our garage complete with fire-protection measures, this positioning and installation was also aesthetically pleasing with cables positioned effectively.
Later that day, the scaffolding team returned and dismantled the scaffolding just as efficiently as they had erected it
Following commissioning and final checks, we were generating electricity from the roof within a couple of days. We have been largely self-sufficient for the past few weeks and have been genuinely impressed by the performance of both the solar panels and the battery system.
The communication from all involved has been excellent and we have felt fully and competently supported throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble and they remained in touch afterwards, ensuring that we felt valued as customers.
Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels. The entire team was friendly, approachable and highly professional throughout. They took the time to communicate every stage of the project clearly and delivered an excellent installation to a very high standard.

Myself and my wife were really happy with the service from our solar installer from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process, with everything explained clearly and all questions answered quickly.

The installation was completed in one day the scaffolding was up by 10am panels installed by 12 finally electrician completed his job by 3pm system up and running by 4pm all work was carried out to a very high standard, and the team were professional, tidy, and friendly while carrying out the work.

The aftercare has also been excellent. They continued to provide support after the installation was finished, including helping with the process of changing energy supplier and making sure everything was set up properly.

We had been thinking about solar panels for a while , done a bit of research but hadn't got any further , you know how it is ...
However we liked the look of this company and had them come to us for a chat and a quote , that was last Monday and today ( monday a week later ) I just got all my documentation and the job signed off . Beautiful and the easiest upgrade I've ever done .
The consultant Craig was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions ( and even a few we didn't know to ask !) and explained the whole process . We felt it was a good deal and signed up on the day .
The team arrived on Thursday to set everything up . They were all polite and worked quickly and efficiently and everything was set up and checked by the end of the day .
They tidied up behind too . Nothing left at all .
I was very impressed .
My set up includes solar panels and batteries.
One of the reasons we went with this company was that the batteries are supplied by Duracell so I felt more confident going with a brand name .
All the equipment looks well built and sturdy too.
Then , best of all everything runs via an app . It's so clever and basically runs on its own so there's no complicated settings or tricky adjustments , though it is fun to watch the sun make electricity in real time .
Over all our experience has been very very positive .
