When the sales person tell you that we will be taking off with in a week!!! It’s not true. They delay the process by not getting back to you fast enough, making excuses and finally getting other person involved 3/4 week process. They called onboarding as it make you confuse because you want to cancel so it should be off-boarding. They pray on your confusion and hope you don’t put attention because it’s an onboarding call.
Finally when you talk to that person, they try to sale you another stuff (very pushy)
Once you don’t, they just tell you you will be billed upto 12 weeks from the date of the call.
No one takes that long to process the credit card. They try to explain to you it’s normal, but you know it’s not.
It’s always the same with this scammers.
You pay for rewards that not worded 18% or more.
I have analyzed the data and the customer base they send do not spend much, always looking for the deal and never come back as they jumping from deal to deal.
If that’s what are you looking for??!!!!

This app is very scammy and rude to restaurants. They just want people to register their credit cards for information.

As a small business owner, I’m extremely disappointed with Seated and feel completely misled. I formally canceled over two months ago, yet they continue to charge my account—as if I were still an active partner.
Here’s what restaurant owners need to know:
You must complete an exit interview to officially deactivate your account. Until then, they keep billing you.
If your exit interview happens after the 15th of the month, they’ll charge you for the entire next month and a half—no exceptions, no warning.
I was never clearly informed that Seated partners with third-party networks like Dinova, Bilt, Mastercard. These affiliations meant charges for orders I never agreed to, including takeout, employee meals, and non-dine-in transactions—even though I signed up strictly to attract new dine-in guests.
This kind of fine-print, back-door billing is exactly the kind of practice that hurts small businesses. We are already navigating staffing, inflation, and construction delays—we don’t need added surprises from a partner who was supposed to help us grow.
To fellow restaurant owners: DO NOT sign up. Run. Seated is not transparent, not ethical, and not worth the risk.

They don’t have number to call
I only get email confirmation with promises that someone will contact you

I love this platform!! So many great restaurants in San Diego, and all the cities I visit. They make it easy to dine out while earning rewards (I always use mine towards uber and airbnb stays)

I downloaded this app just to explore new restaurants. I earned so much more in rewards than I expected. I even bought a desk for my home office with Seated rewards!

I use Seated once or twice a week to go out with my Girlfriend and our friends. They do a pretty good job of adding on new restaurants. A lot of the spots I wanna try are on there.
Game Changer
Seated has been a game changer for me. Growing up in NYC, I’ve been exploring new spots forever, but it’s impossible to know every spot…I’ve been able to discover so many new restaurants near me!!! Was also surprised to see so many big names already using Seated. It’s a win in my book!!

These guys are scammers - stole $250 of credit from me after i was inactive for 90 days. Claimed they sent an email, sure it landed in spam. You text me 100x a week but couldn't text me about the point expiration, scammers?

Same experience as other customers giving 1 star. I travel a lot and was not in town to use the app so they took away over $200 in rewards. What a waste of time, energy and money. This app is going downhill fast. Stay away.
This app scams people out of their hard-earned rewards. Beware.
On December 23rd I went to the Seated app to book a new reservation for 2 when I noticed that my $198 of rewards were missing from my account. When I emailed their Customer Service Team about this, they said that "rewards expire after 90 days of inactivity", which is also what their previous email reminder said. The problem is that they sneakily hide that accounts are only "active" if they make a BOOKING in that period, NOT just log in. Not only is this unprecedented at any other company, but "inactive" almost always means that an account hasn't logged in in a very long time.
The company admitted to me that this wording is indeed misleading, and yet they still refused to refund expired points that I earned by spending thousands of dollars in their app. It is a deceptive practice and blatantly unethical, and it really seems like a desperate attempt at saving the company money at their users' expense.
I discovered that other people ran into the same exact issue and had no idea what "inactive" meant on the Seated App, so it's a common problem that they are simply ignoring. On top of that, I tried to redeem my rewards for Delta gift cards multiple times in the past and received an error each time, so I couldn't even use the rewards when I wanted to. When I asked a Customer Service agent about that she said that Delta wasn't part of their Rewards program any more, even though they are still clearly listed there.
I would never recommend this app to anyone after learning that they engage in this deceitful practice.
Ridiculous App that went way downhill
Ridiculous app! It used to be great, as you got rewards for take out. Then it switched to dine in only. Then more and more restaurants started disappearing off the app. And finally, without warning, all of the money I had been saving for holiday gifts was erased from my account. I just deleted Seated, and will never use them again.
SCAM ARTISTS no wonder most restaurants reject being part of their program.
They give you credits you keep booking you use your credits, but if 90 days goes by they take your earnings with limited effort to warn you. I had $112 saved I was to use it this Holiday Season Seated stole it. I'm not the only one some lost $400 in credits buried in there rules no warning in the app and buried in one of the hundreds of emails they send. They steal from their loyal customers.
They don't care after.
It's deceitful and I hope a lawsuit is filed. I asked 5 users if they knew about this rule all said NO. I saved 2 their money.
I'm in the app weekly no warning at all.
